No Ultimate Ninja 5 in North America?
It looks like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5 may only be published in Europe.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5 takes players on a heart-pounding adventure from the point of Naruto’s return to Konoha to end of the second Sasuke Rescue Arc. It boasts 60 playable characters and 24 battle stages, including the option for a brand new 3-man cell gameplay making full use of a special abilities.
The game sounds extremely exciting, and easily the best Ultimate Ninja game on the PS2! According to a report by Siliconera, however, the excitement of Ultimate Ninja 5 will not make it’s way to United States and Canada. The report states that the game is in works for localization to Europe only, and unlike Ultimate Ninja games of the past, the audio will only be in Japanese, but the text of the game will be in translated into English and four other PAL region languages.
Siliconera ends their report by saying that Namco Bandai Games has hinted at there being “more Naruto games to talk about in the future”. What does that mean? Possibly Ultimate Ninja 6 is in our future (which is planned or a PSP release in Japan at the moment) and maybe even an Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for PS3!?
Of course, there is no official word on Ultimate Ninja 6 or Storm 2 coming to North America at this time. We are only hoping to see those games! The only Naruto Namco Bandai game officially announced to hit North American retailers this year is the action/adventure, Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising, which is planned for an October 6th release to the PSP.
Anyways, please take this news with a grain of salt. If any form of official word by Namco Bandai Games releases in regards to Ultimate Ninja 5, we hope to keep you updated!

There isn’t any official word on this. The only confirmed location for Ultimate Ninja 5, aside from Japan, is Europe. The press release that came out a month ago was released by Namco Bandai Games Europe. I have heard rumors that Viz Media said that Ultimate Ninja 5 is going to be hitting the US, but only rumors, and nothing official. Hopefully we will know soon though!

The whole concept of it being a Europe only release wasn’t confirmed by any websites nor Namco Bandai, yet the American release wasn’t confirmed also…So therefore to all naruto games fans ” don’t stress out there still isn’t any proof for either concept and there isn’t much legit information either”. The only info we have are the “rumors” and the “hopes of fans”!!! So just relax and keep checking big game websites also Shonen Jump for any clues or trailers you can find, there is still hope, we just need to have patience…wait and see how things really turn out to be.

Unfortunately, siliconera just updated the page that Namco Bandai did state it T. GOD THESE KIND OF THINGS PISS ME OFF!!!! FIRST NARUTO DUBS STOP SHOWING ON TV, THEN THE SHIPPUDEN DUB NOT HAVING AN AIR DATE AND NOW THIS!!!!! Apparently these people must hate America….. becuase they’re putting so much strain on us! >.< YOU KNOW WHAT! EVERYONE! SEND E-MAILS, MAIL POSTCARDS WATEVER! SEND THEM TO NAMCO BANDAI GAMES!!! I think it’s fake, because Siliconera seems to be the only ones holding this news. I’m very sure that if this was true a bunch of other websites would know of this directly from Namco Bandai.

Okay, this is f*ckin’ weird. I have scoured the web and found that the number of sites saying the UN5 comes to USA by Christmas is EQUAL to the number of sites saying it’s never ever coming out here. Who the hell are we supposed to believe?!
Who knows. Only God does. I am weary over the fact that they may not release it here. But sinice Shippuuden is airing on Disney XD which i dont have, and i dont have a modded ps2, i will obliterate the neandertholes who decided that it wont come here. They would make a lot of money. It will make it here. If not, i will make it happen
