At the 2010 Jump Fest in Japan, Namco Bandai Games officially unveiled their latest Naruto PSP and PS3 projects – Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2!

Kizuna Drive for PSP is a four player co-op adventure for PSP where characters are put in a squad formation and just like in the anime / manga, squads use their strengths and abilities as a team to complete missions. An example of squad formation is Naruto utilized as an offensive attacker, Sakura/Ino utilized for recovery, Shikamaru/Sai utilized as supporting characters, and Kakashi utilized as an all around ninja. Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive is slated to be released some time in 2010.

After the Kizuna Drive presentation, Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for PS3 took the stage. As both Shonen Jump and V-Jump revealed earlier, the game is for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Not much else was revealed about the game except that there is a promotional video in the works and that the game itself will be released in the Fall of 2010 in Japan. We would hope that a North American release will follow around the same time.
