yeah but BT3 had 164 characters, so they could have added anybody, Storm 2 only has 40 wjich might not be enough.
Remember Storm 1 cut out important characters, this could do the same.

Well, Storm 2 has Characters you dont really need because they didnt do much in the series. To me, knowing that Kiba is in the game is already a waste of character slots. Imagine if they add everyone from each team into the game, although they did nothing in the mayor plot points in the series… No place for Hebi or Akatsuki then. I´m also afraid of characters being cut though… like Sasori from the beginning of Shippuuden, when he was in his puppet.

I would be glad if Young Kakashi and Obito didn’t make the roster. They weren’t part of the shippuden main storyline anyway. As for Lars being in UNS2, I’m actually interested and looking forward to the character. His jutsu, Ultimate Jutsu and Awakening Mode. Danzo and the Kages won’t be in this game. It’s already been revealed by the CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama that this game will go up to “where the anime is right now”, in other words, the Naruto vs Pain Arc. Maybe a CG cutscene at the end, but not playable.

And yes, including people like Ino & Tenten who’ve never really added anything to the Shippuden series may seem pointless, but the fact is that these are considered “major characters” and thus far have been included in just about every Naruto game since Ultimate Ninja 2 so they’re going to be playable whether we like it or not.
