Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Sales Figures

Week 1 sales figures for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 are in! How did our beloved orange-clad ninja do? Well, Storm 2 for the PS3 was the 3rd most selling game in Japan last week! In North America, Storm 2 for PS3 was the 11th most sold game and for the 360 it was the 12 most sold game last week. In Europe, Storm 2 for the PS3 was the 8th most selling game in it’s first week of sales.

Week One Sales Figures

Europe – PS3 – 70,114 copies sold

Japan – PS3 – 63,941 copies sold

North America – PS3 – 57,400 copies sold

North America – 360 – 45,846 copies sold

Europe – 360 – 33,920 copies sold

Japan – 360 – 4,490 copies sold

Week Two Sales Figures
As you may already know, Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 launched a week earlier in Europe, so here are it’s Week 2 sales.

Europe – PS3 – Week 2 – 24,518 copies sold

Europe – 360 – Week 2 – 16,872 copies sold

As you may have noticed, PS3 sales of Storm 2 were stronger then 360. After one week of sales, the total number of PS3 copies sold in North America, Japan and Europe combined was 191,455. The total number of Storm 2 copies that were sold for the 360 after one week was 84,256.

After one week, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for both the 360 and PS3 sold a total of 275,711 copies worldwide.

When you factor in Europe’s second week of sales, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 has sold a total of 317,101 copies to-date.

In case you are wondering how Storm 2 stacked up against Storm 1 after one week of sales, we made a nice little table to show you! Remember, unlike Storm 2 which is on the PS3 and 360, Storm 1 was only on the PS3.

Kick-ass sales! Soon in about a few weeks Storm 2 will surpass Storm 1′s final sales.
Which in turn cause two things to happen.

1. Will grant that a Storm 3 will be within our future. Probably announced early 2012 most likely.

2. Will also grant a possible Accel 4 for the PSP maybe sometime next year.

Do they even exist!! I got a trophy saying “All ninja assemble” or something like that and have all the characters unlocked from sasuke taka to Hokage Naruto costume!
Nice if they could include a couple of DLC support characters or something or even update or add additional DLC costumes for characters, it would be nice, like you know in UNheros 3 it has the school outfit for Naruto and Sasuke! (think like in the first shippuden ending in the anime)

Well…I hope thats true, also they should give it till 2012 like you said if the go for Storm 3 that would build on the 42 character roster for Storm 2.That should mean all the KAGES included and others I cannot remember through reading the manga!
If they do a Storm 3 in 2-3 years time the roster should be at least 60 characters or at the most (judging from what the manga content is) would at a long stretch be like 70 characters!
But I’m still enjoying Storm 2(except for online spamming HOKAGE naruto/Sage naruto and Minato,sasuke kirin,sasori,deidara, slightly annoying since I lose to most of them!)

lol i had the same problem yesterday. konahomaru is hiding around where tenten is. (just look to the right of her and you’ll see konahomaru between a gap facing away from you.) btw you should thank Senpai since he’s the one that helped me with this.

i don’t think there are secret characters -_-. the only characters i can think of that are the secret chars are minato and hokage naruto. it should of been pre naruto and sasuke but….a guy on this site said he’s completed the game 100% yet he doesen’t have the 2 secret chars.=_=

what you have to do is press start, then x and under friendship level you should see something that says check mail, and wallah ^_^.

The PS3 sells better in Japan than America. The reverse is true as well, 360 classes PS3 in America. It’s the funky marketing. America is big on sports and FPS, and Japan loves RPGs, some fighting games, and platformers. This was a good time to release Storm 2, the only real problem is the upcoming Black Ops release.

OMG….i just read chapter 515 of naruto and i can’t wait for the next chapter. this is just too EPIC, hanzo, asuma, haku, zabuza, neji’s dad and many more are back from the dead. madara can probably use every technique nagato used, zetsu is more powerful than ever, sasuke’s ems is almost ready, kabuto brang back the akatsuki and past friends, enemies and kages….so all i can say is….the good guys have already lost.

i think this arc should be the last one from shippuden cos the kages and their villages have finally been united and should be at peace after the war. this arc better have some deaths since this is war, it would be stupid and weak if the creators let all of konaha 11 and other characters survive. this arc is good so far but my favorite is still the pain arc…it had so much drama ^_^.

Why again going with “consoles war” argument? The best console is the console that provide each of us individually the best gaming experience. For some, it’s their PC/Mac, others, their DS/PSP while others, it’s their Wii/PS3 or 360.
