Naruto Shippuden October 2011 Schedule

The October 2011 schedule for Naruto Shippuden has just been released! Kicking things off will be Naruto Shippuden opening 19 on October 6th as Japanese band tacica will be performing “newsong”. With every new opening generally comes a new ending as well, ending 19 will feature Japanese band TOTALFAT playing a song called “Place to Try”.

The episodes in October will be just like August and September – fillers. We’re pretty surprised actually because Naruto Shippuden opening 18 featured Killer Bee and Naruto on a boat together, which is canon material, but in the episode itself this was nowhere to be found. Oh well, maybe next month. Below are the episode numbers, translated titles, and air dates for the month of October. The episode title may be different once Viz Media releases the episode, but the episode number and air date are as listed.

  • Episode 231: The Closed Sea Route – October 6, 2011
  • Episode 232: The Konoha Girls-Only Club – October 13, 2011
  • Episode 233: Enter, Imposter Naruto? – October 20, 2011
  • Episode 234: Naruto’s Favorite Student – October 27, 2011

    I’m def an enormous fan. I’m just not sold on every little thing that brands naruto characters onto itself. Fillers are not made by masashi kishimoto, therefor i do not need to like it, to like naruto. I follow the manga moreso than the anime anyway. But I don’t hate fillers, I just follow like 10 other animes, and mangas, so I have better things to do then watch filler in my free time

    like the three tails and sora arcs were great fillers
    but the filler season after pain and now this… retarded…! they have a lot of catching up to do with the manga!!!!!!!

    Umm last time i checked naruto fillers stay on the story while bleach fillers go to a complete different time and diss of the current story *sigh* who can forget
    The Bount (2006)
    The Assault (2006–2007)
    The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai (2008) 
    Zanpakutō: The Alternate Tale (2009–2010)
    all of these were not related to the story

    Exactly they don’t want to catch up with the manga just like bleach the anime is so close to the manga maybe like 10 episodes away, thats the reason of fillers to make more time for the manga.

    Bleach fillers are way better than naruto fillers. they should make naruto fillers like bleach. maybe put more sage naruto in before he doesnt use it anymore once he gets his kyuubi control form >.>

    I honestly think the fillers are going to go until Generations is released. The last set of fillers after the Pain fight were about 21 episodes. Doing that again would end it right around February when the game comes out.

    Unfortunately if that is true then there might not be anything from that little island arc in the game :/

    i guest i wouldnt be looking at naruto until they show the main story when ever that will be and bleach fillers are way better than naruto i totally agree.

    Those fillers just suck. The manga is ages ahead from the anime, which is the opposite from what in see in bleach: Its Fillers don’t always suck (apart from the ridiculously long bount saga) and the anime is almost catching up with the manga,and even so they are going to follow the original story in the anime in the next episodes. 
    but its kinda good for me, since those fillers allow me to follow more convictely other animes, like One piece.

    Bleach doesnt really have any choice but to go back to cannon right now, they can only use the shit about ichigo almost loosing his powers so much.

    As soon as ichigo gets his powers back i’m sure there will be another 30+ episode filler arc.

    i don’t see why everyone keeps complaing if they don’t lke fillers don’t watch it? I like fillers, ecasue it sticks to the timeline ( ish ) and i think of fillers of like hidden stuff they never showed in the manga o.o

    I actually do read the Naruto and Bleach manga but I’m tired of these stupid ass Naruto fillers. I just want to watch the stuff I see in the manga in an episode. Why the hell do they have to make so many Fillers if the manga is so far ahead? I really want to know because this is ridiculous.

    The way I see it, the director is probably waiting for the Fourth Great Ninja War to conclude before they start animating it so they can take care of it without having to add anime-original content to the episodes chronicling the war. I believe this because I recently REstarted watching Naruto from the beginning AND following along in the manga; there’s a decent amount of anime-exclusive footage in some of the fights.

    That’s unlikely, seeing as how far the war has gotten in the manga. By the way, do I at least have a point regarding why there are fillers at this point in the series?

    One piece has alot of fillers too..They are just better than standard fillers for the most part, so it’s almost unnoticeable.

    Once they start the ninja war..they cannot stop for a filler, because it is a life or death war, that is still not resolved in the manga. There will prob be made up flashbacks, but nothing as much as a full half-year of filler.

    the reason is because the anime catches up to the manga too fast. the time an event takes in the manga happens much much faster in the anime. and both are weekly so even though naruto is far ahead the anime would catch up in no time and then they would have to cease making episodes to wait for the manga.
    its due to the fact that viz(or whoever handles the anime) has to  produce episodes every week, so filler is born in order to stall for time.
    i hate filler, i cant even really watch it. i remember one good one in the beginning of shippuden but that’s it. i would prefer they just stretch cannon material with more content such as fighting sequences and any other content that doesn’t disturb the manga. im even for taking breaks instead of filler.

    i don’t mind fillers but if there gonna make fillers make it so it’s like a small ark like Bleach like the Kagaroza arc that just finished it was decent had a lot and awesome action and had a story to it but was not related to the main story. I Love Naruto way more than bleach but come on Naruto step up your game a little.

    I don’t give a damn about the misadventures of the characters. I care about the ADVENTURES. No one wants to watch Naruto help a stubborn fisherman get revenge on a fish, they want to watch him crush Sasuke within an inch of his life.

    Fillers make me want to Shoot myself. I’m not going to bother watching Naruto for a Month. I’m also going to stop Reading the Manga When Sasuke Enters the Battlefield ready to fight Naruto. AHHHHH I’m Excited.

    I agree, it seems like at 4 eps a month it would take at least a year for the anime to catch up to where the manga is now so really these fillers have no justification

    fillers?? who could of for seen this happen?? everyone of course… i gave up on the anime, and instead of adding retarded filler they could extend fight scenes a little and try to do a episode per chapter… Usually they use 1 and a half chapters or 2.. One Piece is starting the timeskip w/no filler so and it is closer to the manga than naruto is to his….

    yh naruto fillers have gotten diabolical which is a shame as i really enjoyd shippuden up till the end of the pain arc didnt have any issue with the rest of shippuden.

    as for the people saying bleach has better fillers, bleaches main story really isnt that gd, the sword fiend and bount arcs sucked and yes ive seen up to itchigo beating aizen that was beyond disapointing. its nice that the fillers are one mini story line instead of fragmented epps. 

    bleach also shoves in a 20 eppisode filler arc in the middle of a fight how is that gd? if you think about it the whole of bleach is practicaly one ark as it stayd on the same main story line right up to aizens death. the fillers just happend to split it up by randomly going to a completly different time and place of the main story that made little to no sense what so ever.

    of the three illd probably say i enjoyed one piece the most but find narutos main story a bit more interesting fight wise.

    Dont even compare naruto to bleach! One thing i hate the most about bleach is the same fucking offensive move ichigo has, getsuga tensho!! It was interesting at first, using that blue slash wave BUT this goes on throughout the whole fucking series! Oh shit, he finally gets into bankai!… and whats his move? a black getsuga tensho! oh wow, he has a hollow mask.. oh wait he still uses a stronger getsuga tensho! And at the end when I actually thought he would do something incredible to defeat aizen!… and whats his final move?? A pure black fucking GETSUGA TENSHO!!! Sorry, but im so pissed of watching all those bleach episodes just to be disappointed.

    First off I like Naruto more than Bleach but, it’s times like these when I appreciate Bleach a lot more. Sure, Bleach is a little repetitive but, they have gone through 300+ episodes with literally like 5 fillers. The stories on interesting and there is ALWAYS action, not 5 weeks of Naruto having a flashback. I understand that we are on the verge of Naruto getting some new powers but, let me remind you Naruto has been running for NINE years and all he uses is shadow clones and rasengan. He never goes sage and he never summons. I think that is really messed up. I have finished my rant and all I want is for these fillers to be done. I checked the episode list on wikipedia and to be honest I don’t think we are getting any new episodes till Christmas.

    Bleach had an arc of filler. Naruto filler sucks, but doesn’t have nowhere near the amount of filler Bleach has.
