Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi: 44 Characters, 62 w/ Transformations

There has been much debate as to how many characters are in Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi. Many fans questioned the list of characters by Namco Bandai in their FAQ, and rightfully so due to spelling errors. Well, we may just be able to put the debate to rest here on Saiyan Island as a new video finally confirms the amount of characters in Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi – 44 characters on the selection screen (including custom characters) and 62 when factoring in all of the transformations. We said MAY because we manually took the time to watch the video and write down each character we saw, so forgive us if we missed somebody!

Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi (or Dragon Ball: Ultimate Blast in Japan), formerly known as Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011, is a 3D fighting game in development by Spike. The game features beautiful 3D graphics, 30 minutes worth of anime-style cutscenes, free roaming action, boss battles, pursuits, hidden missions, and character creation. Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi is scheduled to be released October 25 in North America, October 28th in Europe, and December 8th in Japan for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3.
