One Piece: Kaizoku Musou is stretching its way to Japan on March 1, 2012. North American and European fans have been wondering if they too will be able to join in on the action. Well, there is no word yet for North America, but European One Piece fans may have something to get excited about – Namco Bandai Games has just yesterday on December 29th filed a trademark in Europe for the word “PIRATE WARRIORS”! What’s to be excited about there? Well, the English term “Pirate Warriors”” can be translated into Japanese to “Kaizoku Musou”! If you are thinking what we’re thinking, then yes, it looks like One Piece: Kaizoku Musou may very well be making its way to Europe in the form of One Piece: Pirate Warriors!
Notice we said may be making its way. There have been hundreds, if not thousands or millions, of trademarks that are filed by companies around the world, but never used. This could be one of those cases. Of course logic says that this game will be making it’s way for sure to Europe because of this trademark filing and the belief it will be a profitable endeavour. However, for now Saiyan Island classifies One Piece: Kaizoku Musou (One Piece: Pirate Warriors) to Europe as a rumor. If and wan official word / image from Namco Bandai Games or Tecmo Koei is released in regards to this, we’ll be sure to let you know!
One Piece PS3, One Piece: Kaizoku Musou, is the first One Piece game on the Sony PlayStation 3. It will cover One Piece Part 1 as well as some of the story contents of the One Piece timeskip. The game is in development by Omega Force and and will be published by Namco Bandai Games and Tecmo Koei in Japan on March 1, 2012. No plans have been revealed for North America, but a European release is rumored.
