Lol, the first video to be uploaded is spamtastic. I played the demo, and this doesn’t do the potential this new system has justice. Against a decent player with this system, jutsu spam wouldn’t even come close to working.

I’m reminded of why I hated playing Ultimate Ninja Storm 2.

Tournament wise, I would ban Sage Naruto.  He’s kind of really unfair.  Only nerf I see so far is damage reduction on Rasengan Barrage, which doesn’t change how easy it is to just nail the opponent with it.

this was the best part of the demo by far, with updated combos and tilts, but i was kind of annoyed that pain wasn’t updated.  his ultimate jutsu was disappointing in storm 2, he has such powerful jutsu like chibaku tensei, and even just a bigger shinra tensei wouldve been enough.  but no, they make up some bad joint technique with all the paths.  would have been nice to see new ultimate jutsu!

1 its weird they not have confirmed  curesmark level 2 jugo and version 2 killerbee because the game covers the 5 kage arc so its weird they not are in the game they need 2 be in the game

4 sound 4 SHOULD be in the game and they is one of my favrite char and the game covers the sasuke rescue arc and i dont want 2 fight kimimaro 5 times again i really hope cc2 change there mind and and make them playable and it would be great if drunk lee and butterfly choji was in the game 2 and shukaku gaara would be good 2

You are right.CC2 has the potential of making these additions they dont need to be hasty .It will be wonderfull if these ideas are added into the game

1. Not really, as far as i remember jugo only turned cm2 when he was in his child form, they would have to make a new character for that and i don’t see them doing that. If he does cm2 during the war then they might include him in storm 3, but i doubt that will happen.

2. i agree with this, i honestly do not see any logical reason for him using the combos he has now, its so stupid.

3. Cannon fodder characters will never be playable..

4. Yes they should, they have been teasing us with this but it looks like they will be just support, maybe they will give us full characters as dlc later though.

kind of restrain him, second pains ultimate is unlockable which will allow spammers to keep using it unless its just for boss battle, the substitution is ok the game needs improvements

We’ve seen too much Naruto barage – don’t fight, just protect yourself and let Sasuke, Tobi, Pain show their potential ( combos, grabs, jutsus, awakenings ). What all people do in all videos of demo on youtube is just spamming to complete the demo. We’ve seen enough Naruto moves, no we all have to see others. Thank you.

That’s because Pain’s awakening was more of a power up than an awakening like most characters on Storm 2 because I’m guessing that CC2 didn’t want him to be too overpowered.

Well, he wasn’t that overpowered comparing with Deidara, Itachi and so on. There were too much unbalanced things. At least, they could make just a little bit different animation for Pain’s awakening moves without making him too strong. What I think, they were too lazy to make each character special – it takes time and money.

He should get Shinra tensei with longer range in awakening mode

his awakening should be all paths of pains as auto-support

in a game where all movesets work the same, there is no “overpowered”, there’s just a “learn to dodge”. except pains combos looking spectacular, there is no difference damage-wise. the only stuff that has to be balanced is 4th speed and the projectile spamming characters, because they are in contradiction to the game mechanics – its not possible to dodge that stuff forever.

To anyone who is asking yourself about jutsu clash, I’ll give you the awnser: there is NO jutsu clash. I tried it in the Sasuke battle. When he did his ultimate I did mine and all that happened is that both of them flew back, canceling both ultimates. Too bad CC2 let us down again…

just got the demo today too….. Not going to lie I wish the gave us other characters to be as it didn’t have to be the best but they could of atleast gave us one of the new characters from the game just one myabe. The new features were kinda cool i guess well all in all i say the demo wasn’t really worth it the only thing seperating itself from the uns2 is the new subsitution button and the chakra air dash/cancleing too oh and the cancle with the combos. Im not saying this represents the game though just the demo kinda sucked thats all then again it is a demo so awell i guess.

Wow. Some people say it’s AWESOME, and some say it’s shit. Well there both right. First off, ITS A DEMO. This is 1/100 of the actual game. Honestly, IMO I LOVED IT!!!! Now the reasons: We got THREE battles, in UNS2 demo, we got one. Sure the battles were a little to easy, but I learned more than I could imagine. The Chakra Dash and Sub Bar make ALL the difference (from NUNS2). You can create amazing strings of combos with these two. Say your opponent has used all sub and you have full chakra, you can do a combo so big it takes out a full bar of health! Speaking of combos, each Naruto (All 3) got at least a 1 new combo/move, which I was so happy about (i was having flashbacks of ClashOfNinjaCombos). Once again I will say this is a demo people, a tease, a taste, a sample of the greatness to come that is Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. I KNOW I will be getting this game, will you? Oh and one more think, I may be grasping at straws, but I think, I hope the battle with Madara tells us we can battle with awakenings! However I am probably wrong. If you disagree with anything I said please explain why, I’m curious of what other people think.

I loved it… what i hate is that people complain so much on this game first they complained about kyuubi chakra naruto only being awakening then they complained about the sub meter they complained getting away from a combo they complain about the sound 4 being support and now their b*tching about the demo like seriouslly just about everything cc2 throws out they complain they dont know that it takes a long time to put in moves for each character specially new ones even copy and paste takes awhile is not like u type something then u copy and paste and boob no it takes maybe even days for it to b complete….

anyways back to the demo I loved it man i love how you can escape combos by pressing the analog stick in any direction and pressing x at the same time and also you can simply just press square and x and just block with R2 its very awesome and what i love the most its chakra dash cancellation you do that by rapidly pressing R2 its a very fun demo i also like the air dashes stuff fucking awesome dude at first it was hard to get use to because use s2 but now im like very good i dont let sasuke pain and tobi get me to orange bar the demo was the best of the best…. now is time to look for a job lol

at first I was really hyped about this game, but I had to witness that none of the chars from storm 2 received  any sort of changes, at least 70% of the game haven’t changed, and they didn’t keep their promises( support only chars from storm 1 making it to generations, 2 made it out of 8 lol), and so on
I would be more than impressed if this game were to sell more than half as good as storm 2

This game is only little better than NUNS2, the worst in NUNS1 and NUNS2 was Substitution system, now it is mutch better, gameplay didn’t look’s what I thinking about it when i saw video’s before There was something like NINJA STEP from IMPRACT but in dmeo and full game this isn’t be in game, But even that I will buy this game, I’m not some of BIG FAN NARUTO I didn’t watch all naruto’s episodes ,but for me Storm series is the best fighting games for PS3, So I must Buy this game. I only but Fighting game’s and some other similar to them, I hate FPS games only Unreal Tournament series are good.

Oh man, sage naruto is beastly !! I think I’ll be enjoying generations. I do have some disappointments but hell, the good parts of this game will keep me distracted from them. Can’t wait to play!

Just played the Demo, and the new subbing system is a horrible idea. When you run out of the bar you will take damage, and since they did not fix the chakra shuriken spamming (chakra shuriken in air, then again right as you land) you will be screwed if the other person is doing this while retreating. And I have no doubt they will be. This is especially effective/annoying as the Narutos.

This is a big deal, and from the looks of it so far it’ll be more broken than Storm 2.

Is the Chakra dash cancel in the demo? If so, how do you do it?

Dude, you know you have a chakra/air chakra dash, right? It completely cancels the chakra shuriken. They cant run anymore, because 2 chakra dashes into guard breaks it. They can’t camp and hit you with an ultimate because you can just sub it easier now. Running the entire match is not an option.

as much as i think that NUNS1 is the best because 
1) it had very good quality and graphics.
2) The specials weren’t as quick and you could actually cancelled the special.
and 3) the transformations were fun because they lasted longer and you could have when you could be the transformations through the whole match.

This game looks good but probably is not going to be as good as i think its going to be. but still i hope they approve on it and make it better on the real game.

……..oh and ummm number one had a better transformation for itachi on NUNS1. just sayin because he was one of my favorite persons.

Did anyone else notice Naruto fight 1 and Naruto against tobi had slightly diferent move set on fight 1 his aerial combo is plain with some punches, on fight 3 against two his aerial combo includes a razengan. Check it out

Have you played the demo? If so then you should know you can only sub four times until your bar recovers, and until then you’re a sitting duck. Chakra air dash may work with the shurikens, but how do you expect to fight against spamming awakenings like 4/6 Tails Naruto, 8 Tails, Minato’s/Gai/Lee’s, and both Susano’os? Let alone Rasengans and Chidoris? You think 4 subs is gonna cut it? It takes awhile to get your subs back, and with their awakenings you may not be alive by then.

Thanks guys, I got that so far. I meant how do you cancel a chakra dash when you’re not attacking? Say you’re closing the distance but your opponent is about to ultimate you as you’re dashing. Didn’t they say you could do that now?

Yeah, their items were different too. Most likely the Naruto vs. Madara (slight spoiler if you read on) is going to be the one with the new ultimate jutsu that’s used against the Nine Tails.

hmmm, i understand where you’re coming from but the damage taken from awakenings have been cut down. Also, i believe you can have up to three life bars now, from previous scans. This will make the fight last much longer

The opponent has a a sub bar too. Make them use it up first and your fine. Plus it increases the more damage you take, so you won’t be taking damage for too long. 

They nerfed the awakenings a bit. But the same strategy goes for them. A 6-tails with no subbing is a sitting duck to combos with canceling because at that point he won’t get his bars back before being KO’ed due to having so little health.

Hmmm… Susanno though I can see being a problem.

I didn’t say that Pain was “overpowered” what I said was that CC2 didn’t give all of Pain’s attacks because Pain is an overpowed character, same reason why a lot of other attacks aren’t on this game. Just play the old Naruto Ultimate Ninja games and you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

True, but what CC2 really needs to do before adding in all that stuff is allow you to modify the health guage because right now the matches end WAY too quickly for you to do anything. Or they can at least let you modify the handicap for both fighters so that the attacks will be weaker so the health guage won’t decrease as much. These things will allow longer battles and noobs can’t complain about overpowered characterers because now they will have more time.

Yeah I found the same thing to be true too. It looks like of all the attacks you can do (team ougis included) the most damage you can do are from the combos. That’s the main emphasis of this game.

it is better but stuff has to be balanced to be online versus relevant.
if storm 1 was online, everyone would take lee, guy, sasuke and naruto for their powerful endless awakenings. especially lee is a beast in awakening mode.

The fox projectiles are smaller than in storm I think, very good.

have you ever considered that your so use to the old sub jutsu way ninja storm 1 and 2 that your not thinking smart about using all your sub bars so you just use them up like nothing? think about it…would you rather get hit my a ultimate jutsu or get hit my your opponents combo move.? obvious choice. An you get sub bars back after your opponent attacks you kind of alot so his attack on you wont last forever or while your waiting for your sub bar to come back over time you can make your opponent use his up. Awakenings does make your opponent invincible…but thats definitely a issue. especially when its a cheap awakening like minato’s and susano. Chidoris and rasengans are easy though. just black and jump up so they’ll pass you.

I mean…did you like it better when your opponent could sub EVERY attack you tryed on them like in storm 2? :/. They may have not fixed all the bugs in this game but ATLEAST it’s a improvement.

Actually yes, I did prefer the subbing system used in Storm 2. As you would put it, I’m one of those guys that can “sub every attack.” With the exception of Susano’o, there’s no better feeling than showing those spamming awakenings like the Bijuus or Minato/Gai/Lee how powerless they really are. Proper substitution took skill, and including wise decision-making, that’s what separated the best from the rest.

With the new system it’s as you said, picking the lesser of the two evils to get hit by. But why should I get hit by an attack that skill-wise, I’m capable of dodging in Storm 2? I believe the new subbing system is a handicap for those who could not keep up in Storm 2. And the unstoppable awakenings is further evidence of that.

What is considered an “improvement” to some is a hindrance to others.

if they left it how it was the most powerful jutsu in the whole game would still be the substitution jutsu…. Examples… opponent attacks you : on like the second blow it’s already bin subed. ultimate jutsu : no problem depending on which one. grabbing :  useless. You say why would you choose to take one attack over the other when you have the skills sub both of them? There’s no such thing as proper sub’ing in storm 1 or 2 because there was no REAL skills involved in them. My 7 year old little sister could learn play it since it’s so simple and end up beating me after awhile. -_-
