New Screenshots in One Piece: Pirate Warriors Scan

A brand new One Piece: Pirate Warriors (or One Piece: Kaizoku Musou in Japanese) scan from Famitsu has been released! It features both old and new screenshots of playable characters, bosses, and other characters from the great One Piece story! On the playable front you will see screenshots of Nami, Luffy, Zoro, Chopper, Usopp, Robin, and Franky! Bosses Rob Lucci (Leopard form), Kaku (Giraffe form), Blueno, Crocodile, Arlong, and Wapol are shown too! There is also sweet Princess Vivi who is shown in the scan. We’re not sure what her role will be in the game, but from the looks of it she will just be a part of the cutscenes to tell the story in the game. One Piece PS3, One Piece: Pirate Warriors (or One Piece: Kaizoku Musou in Japanese), is the first One Piece game on the Sony PlayStation 3. It will cover One Piece Part 1 as well as some of the story contents of the One Piece timeskip. The game is in development by Omega Force and will be published by Namco Bandai Games and Tecmo Koei in Japan on March 1, 2012. A European release is rumored, but no official word has been released. Additionally, no plans have been revealed for North America.

The Naruto games arent perfect. Theyre very good, and have excellent graphics that really capture the look of the anime and good gameplay. But the previous 2 games cut some story stuff out completely, and most of the storyline was played out by having a couple of characters on the screen just talking to one another, rather than fully animated scenes that mimicked the manga/anime. And there were too many times where it was something like: “Naruto, we‘ve got to figure out your chakra element. Lets spar!“ “Naruto, Im going to tell you how to use Wind element. Lets spar!“ Thats not perfect to me.

Im wondering that too. Im hoping theyre just not showing everything and leaving some stuff for players to discover by playing the game. The Impel Down and Marineford arcs should be in the game as there has been some concept art of them shown, but we havent seen any full scans of them yet. For some reason we also havent seen anything of the Captain Morgan and Kuro arcs where Zoro and Usopp are introduced either. Im also wondering if the Davy Back Fight arc will be in this game since that arc is a bit of a different formula to other arcs.

he’s right, it’s an alright game but farrrr from perfect the gameing online were terrible when fighting lag people or even trying to search for a battle was near impossible

Its possible they might just cover the first two rounds in a cutscene and then have Luffy vs Foxy as playable. I want Afro Luffy!
