Information on Tournaments in Naruto Generations

Namco Bandai Games Japan has released 2 screenshots from the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generation tournament mode, one to represent each type of tournament – Battle Tournament and Challenge Tournament.

Battle Tournament can be played online and offline. Online, 8 players can get together to freely duel it out in a tournament style scenario. Offline, players can compete with friends locally or take the battle to computer-controlled opponents..

Challenge Tournament, which is an offline only campaign, is dedicated to a player fighting against computer opponents only. There are different difficulty ranks and in order to progress the the next rank, a player must first win the current rank tournament. In otherwords, in order to graduate to a Chunin-level tournament, first the Genin tournament has to be cleared.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is a 3D fighter by CyberConnect2 for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. It will have a revamped online mode, 72 playable characters, and at least 38 stages. The game is scheduled to be published in Japan on February 23, 2012, North America on March 13, 2012, and March 30, 2012 in Europe.     I think so because it wouldn’t make any sense to have a tournament made of random people from online. There’s just no point. So, I think you will be able to invite others.

    Have to play some storm 2 again lol. btw guys is it me or insane mode on strom 1 is alot harder than super hard on storm 2?. well generation gonna me epic with tournament mode! add meh if u gonna get generation. ps. Dont add me if u are those who QQ.

     nope its not just you :P they made storm 2 easier for reasons that i dont know but i hope generations is harder :D ooo also it would have been nicer in generations to give players the ability to fight on the walls again and super punch :D

    * also 3 health bars was much better than 2, since they boosted the strength of awaking modes in both storm 2 and generations the matches end much quicker :P
