Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations

A new commercial for Naruto Generations has been released! It features the story of our hero Naruto Uzumaki! As you can see it shows scenes from when Naruto was young hanging out with a younger Sasuke to his Shippuden forms where he fights against Sasuke, Deidara, Orochimaru, Kakuzku, and Pain. There are scenes of him in Sage Mode, 3-Tailed Fox Mode, and Tailed Beat Chakra Mode too!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is a 3D fighter in works by CyberConnect2 for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. It will have a revamped online mode, 75 playable characters, and at least 35 stages. The game is scheduled to be published in Japan on February 23, 2012, North America on March 13, 2012, and March 30, 2012 in Europe.     Kinda crazy how this commerical states 2-23 for japan. My manager told me yesterday that we’ll have the game in stock on march 6th. We mite be getting a week early release dates ppl. God I hope so

    Don’t worry. Namco Bandai Europe has announced that there will be a collectors edition but it’s content has not yet been revealed. In fact the collectors edition is available for pre-order in my country!

    three tailed naruto is just for the opening and if you see the other video commercial it explains that killer bee will have second version but not for another version for bee im thinking 8 tails will be in the game but only for idk boss battle im not so sure but for his jutsu it’ll still be same.

    Yeah i know same here, along with the other supports that should be playable. That’s all I really care about at this point. I could careless about Naruto or Sasuke, I already know that they are in the game and don’t need to be reminded about in every update.

    I really hope CC2 has something up there sleeve, because Im tired of hearing the Naruto story if u havent heard of this guy yet then its your loss! But Who cares about Naruto himself anymore! Wat about sound 4, or adding like 10 new characters! They can atleast do the fighting an the side of the wall thing again, or add a charged attack that shows a cutscene of ur opponent getting knocked away, Honestly I like STORM 1 better because u got a chance to escape someones special! “sheesh”

    Umm… substitution is much easier now. Escaping an Ultimate is child’s play.

    Wall fighting is pointless. Absolutely does nothing but change the camera angle. Feels like the old Batman series with Adam West.

    The charged punch would be cool though.

    U kno what ur right its bad enough we tap the back triggers like our life depends on it to escape a combo so escaping a special is dry but wouldn’t be nice if there were destructible environments ;}

    she’s only support you could check on the official website the playable characters are in red and the support only characters are in blue and has a little s at the bottom right corner

    I hope you’re right. At 0:08 next to the center picture of PTS Naruto and TS Naruto there seems to be the V2 transformation sequence.

    yeah i agree. but i do want to see the dead kages (who we havent seen in battle) fight. also, i once more would love to see the 1st through 4th hokage fight.

    same game as 2 but with all the character from the first game and some prety cutscenes. at least to me naruto games are getting worst and losing innovation. this is not worth 60$. hate me if you want but every one has an opinion and a rigt to say it may it be good or bad.

    you said it. the first storm game was nice b/c it provided a 3d battle environment (w/ much better graphics than its predecessors), but the difference in character abilities and potential were too great to call it a worthwhile game. I mean itachi, 1-tail naruto, and sasukes were too strong with awesome weapons, etc.

    Storm 2 added online battles but cc2 really screwed some of the character movesets. Anyways, future storm games should have better battle system, one that actual provides at least 3 unique jutsus + ougi, better stages (destructible would be nice), etc. And CC2 needs to stop putting in at least 6 different kinds of sasukes and narutos and wasting all their time and energy into improving these characters only.

    To be honest, What they need to Do is Drop The Storm Series for a while And make another Ultimate Ninja Game. Those games Were easy to play, fun, and had hella characters. And if the didnt have too many charaters, they made up for it With the Features ( Narutimate Hero Accel 3 had 4 Player mode) Specials were Longer, you could cancel them, and everyone had Atleast 2 specials ( Some even had Tag team Specials)

    I kinda agree, I never played S1 and honesty not many games are worth 60 dollars to me, I’m a casual gamer. And this game is also not going to have an actual story mode so that makes this basically just a fighter with no adventure. Even S2′s story mode was lacking it was to basic and repetitive they needed to make it an open environment. that’s what the story mode need, or well I think so anyway. I like the main play of the game to be fun and exiting, with tricks and other things in it as well not just go here fight him go there fight him. That gets boring. And they are making these games to based on just the thought of it being for online. Online is good but its to basic and again gets boring to me.
    Of course like I said I’m a casual gamer so a few online matches and i”m usually done.
    Another thing with me ranting like this I probably don’t have a right to say the game is bad, and i’m not, but since I know storm 3 is coming out probably next year I figure I’ll just wait to get that and it will have more characters and hopefully an amazing story mode.

    Your kidding right? Your saying the manga is dragging? When they make pointless fillers after every main enemy dies???Really do you think that and not on the actual show itself? I think you need to learn and understand the story because the manga is the full story without any fillers. The manga is probably coming to an end probably by the end of this year or the beginning of next year. So, you should care cause its getting near the end and once naruto is gone. What are you going to do next?

    No way don’t drop the storm series. I rather have this new type of 3d walk around then being stuck in 2d fighting. The creators are doing great on this. Just wished they stop making fillers so this game would’ve at least showed some fights from the 4th war

    Naruto is not my whole life bro. And yes, I mean the manga not the anime. The manga is now just battle after battle and power up after power up. There is no plot left. It’s pointless and stale and I hope it does end soon.

    I understand where you’re coming from. The game is more for the competitive players who enjoy playing online, which I do. There’s not much for anyone else. 

    Storm 3 likely won’t come out for at least 2 years, probably more. First, they said they wanted to wait until the end of the manga. Then, they have to wait till the anime catches up before releasing the game.

    Specials are shorter to fit online standards. Dropping the storm series would be a downgrade for them. UN series were good but Storm works for Naruto in a realistic perspective. Naruto just doesn’t suit well with the 2D fighter “anymore”

    Buy the game or not. Stop complaining about everything you want in this one. Obviously they are already in the marketing part of the game. meaning the game is done.(maybe a few tweaks and stuff). But next is shipping, nothing else can be done to the game. (DLC not included)

    i am fairly sure cc2 will try to release storm 3 around november in 2013. 

    of course they wont say anything now about it b/c otherwise it could have an impact on the sales of generations.

    Oh yeah I’m sure it will be out late 2013 or early 2014, and hopefully they are already in production of some of the game play that will be in S3, such as story mode. and certain characters I’m sure they could be working on right now like the kage body guards and such. They need to make S3 epic and amazing beyond belief. and if they are working on parts of it now they have no excuse to not be able to make this game outstanding. Both for on and off line.

    I agree, the storm series is beginning to go downhill already (the first game was good) like the psp title, storm2 and this are being milked and rushed to make more money id prefer they either drop the series or give it to a better company (i mean the head of the company dresses as naruto almost on a daily basis and runs marathons like that to promote the game, is he just designing the game on what he wants?) where did CC2 go wrong?
    the original Ultimate Ninja series had alot more depth and contents, the fights were much faster and action packed, each character had 2 jutsu slots and could customise them as well as having more ougis. ultimate ninja 5 was my personal favourite as it had a TON of characters and the story mode was amazing because it was free roam and you would actually have group battles with enemies on a 3d plane instead of on vs mode where it was 2d.
    its irritating that they removed game mechanics from the previous games, no wall running or chakra usage on water and even ougis being shortened for online, they didnt need to be shortened they were still quick and even then the matches were quicker than on the storm games because people were not running around trying to win by time limits
