July 3, 2012 UPDATE – Naruto Shippuden: Dreamers Fight Part 2 has been released!

The awesome music we all know and love from Naruto combined with fantastic special effects! It’s not often Saiyan Island recognizes fan created works of the live action sorts. However, the team over at Thousand Pounds Action Company has created a magnificent video that pits our hero Naruto against the Leaf’s Handsome Devil, Rock Lee!

The description from the creators of the video is as follows: The story takes place after the Pain saga with Naruto becoming the acknowledged village hero he’s always sought out to be. Seeing Naruto become steps closer to his dream, Rock lee decides he too, must continue to grow and push his training even harder. Feeling unfulfilled in his regiment, Lee decides to challenge Naruto to a no holds barred duel in hopes to reignite his passion to become the best ninja he can be. Naruto accepts the challenge from his close friend and with this the fight is set! Will Naruto’s constant growth and Nine Tailed Fox spirit overwhelm the hardworking, hand-to-hand fighter? Or will Lee again, push his body to the limits to become the more powerful opponent? Thousand Pounds fight team brings you Naruto Shippuden: Dreamer’s Fight”

That was what we wrote about Naruto Shippuden: Dreamers Fight exactly one year ago. Today, Thousand Pounds has released a brand new video to tease us for the long awaited part 2! There isn’t an exact online release date, but the team plans to reveal the full length video on July 1st at the 2012 Anime Expo. Sometime after that they will release it online for the world to enjoy. Here, check out the teaser for Naruto Shippuden: Dreamers Fight – A Live Action Series – Part 2:

    They also said they have a something to announce 2 weeks from now. It might have to do with other projects they’re doing or something Naruto related. Either way, CAN’T WAIT!

    looks way better than that crap they made for DBZ, but i guess it would be a little easier to make naruto live action than DBZ cuz well it freaking dbz, there’s only some much computer graphics were cable of before a movie looks bad

    thats fucking sad, if an fanmade can make an better live action than last airbender and dragon ball evolution, then maybe its time for change, by FIRING all direcors in hollywood and start putting ACTUAL talented people with inspiration to make REAL good shit. this video is an prime example that with good dedication and quality it can make are dreams become basically reality, now all hollywood do is just sqeeze the milk to get money.

    I think besides the bad acting in DBE, the problem with it they were fighting more like power rangers than super spartans, but seeing the fact that the story took place before dbz was an offical “blow planets up” it would be more like this naruto video with actual combat, but instead they made it more like the matrix which doesn’t suit for the db series what so ever, and they made it really cheesy almost worst than the live action mario movie.

    I don’t know how anyone can say this is crap.  This made me feel so happy inside!  It brings back all the memories of what makes Naruto such an amazing anime in the first place.  If you can’t appreciate it, then you obviously are not a true fan of the manga.  If you know anything about Naruto and especially about Lee and his relationship with him, then this is by far the best live-action ever made.  I cannot wait for the next part and I only hope that someone wth enough funding picks these guys up and convinces them to make an actual movie, or at least some kinda miniseries to continue this awesome filmography.

    as cool as this is video is, I think casting sasuke as naruto’s opponent would have made this more interesting, not saying “better” but more “interesting”, good post btw.
