Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie – Brand New 1:53 Trailer

YOSH! A brand new Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie trailer has been released! This trailer is 1:53 (1 minute 53 seconds) and features a combination of the first trailer, second trailer, as well as new, never before scenes! Those new scenes feature Naruto with his parents as well as some Leaf vs Akatsuki action!

Also known as Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Road to Ninja, Naruto Shippuden Movie 6, among others, Road to Ninja is the 9th movie overall in the Naruto series. It will debut in Japanese theaters July 28, 2012. Naruto’s creator, Masashi Kishimoto will be personally involved with the movie, creating the story and providing character designs.     The movie does indeed look awesome for many reasons:

    1. We’ll get to see the kind of bond he would have had with his parents had they not passed away, not to mention possibly with Sasuke had he not left.

    2. Actual villains from the series are a major part of the plot.

    3. Most important: IT DOESN”T LOOK LIKE HE MEETS SOME CHICK/DUDE WHO DOESN”T BELIEVE IN HOPE AND EVENTUALLY PULLS THAT FRIENDSHIP/PATH OF A NINJA BS ON THEM LIKE ALMOST EVERY OTHER MOVIE. Seriously, the formula is terrible and they’ve used it so many times.

    Still think there was so much potential for a complete re-imagining of the series to take place in a modern day setting. A “slice of life” genre alternative to Naruto with some super powers would have been extremely interesting.

    I hope they up-play the dynamic between him and his parents as the central theme of the film, but I also hope they show what the relationship between him and Sasuke would have been like had he not left. The action can/hopefully will be icing on the cake.

    what I wanna know is whether or not they can remember the actual world events such as naruto’s parents dying or sasuke never showing affection towards sakura. I think that scene where minato was fighting tobi, then afterwards he hugs his mom, I think that means naruto later on in his life he will get random flashbacks in his head of memories he once felt before, then later on he’ll begin to realize that this alternate world isn’t actually his world, which seems to be why he hugged him mom in this trailer. probley cause he figured out what really happened to her, and since I’m an narutard I can safely say that kushina never figured out what naruto was feeling but she had enough trust in him to figure it out.. ( without her knowing she was an genjutsu ).

    Shippuden movie 3 and 5 didn’t have anything like that. Didn’t see movie 4 (premise was stupid imo) but since 5 didn’t, hopefully they continue that trend with 6. Though they did overdramatize the Rasenshuriken (jumping up into the clouds which part and he comes down from the sky with the rasenshuriken). Still badass though.

    Actually Tobi sends Naruto and Sakura to an alternate dimension well “genjutsu” in the other dimension Naruto isn’t a Jinchuriki, and Sakura’s dad is the Hokage. I know it sounds crazy but it’s based off proof.

    They showed a scan for Sakura’s parents, and her dad’s face was in the Hokage Mountain that was in this trailer just keep your eyes open! Also for the information, I’m a real big fan of Naruto and I thought about and I realized Kushina said that she was the previous Jinchuriki for the Nine Tails and since she never died (in the other dimension) it means Naruto never got the Nine Tails sealed inside him since The Masked Man never invaded Konoha 16 years ago.

    Like I said before Naruto and Sakura are the only ones that are trapped in the Genjutsu. Or do you mean does everyone else in the dimension know that, that’s not the real them? Maybe that’s why Naruto was so glad seeing his mom, and her mom looked like “What’s wrong?” but yeah, I guess we just have to wait and see.

     He doesn’t need them, he can kick a mountain apart and teleport around back in the Chunin exams while it took Naruto over 500 episodes to match his speed and strength. Not to mention that Lee can’t use jutsus which makes him even stronger.

    Yes, but from the looks of it she traded places with Shizune and she’s the Hokage and Tsunade’s the secretary…they also replaced chest sizes so Shizune has big boobs and Tsunade’s the flat one.

    1st.) Wood Guy? Aka Tsunade’s Grandfather.
    2nd.) Wood Guy’s Brother. Water Guy.
    3rd.) Old guy who screwed up Orichimaru’s arms. ((I probably spelled it wrong.~))
    4th.) Naruto’s dad, Minato.. Right?
    5th.) Tsunade.
    6th.) Danzo. Well not anymore.

    Yea! Jewels ocean wave is wrong! Minato and others are hokages in the main story, but in this movie kushi inverted the roles. Minato isnt the 4th hokage in the movie, unlike the main story.
