Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection Comic-Con Interview

The world famous San Diego Comic Con is currently underway at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA, USA! The team at GameSpot recently had the opportunity to interview Namco Bandai Games America Brand Manager Jason Enos and Producer Brandon Williams. They mention Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 was left out because when they analyzed what fans what, they felt Dragon Ball Z 1 and 3 were the games that were really cherished. Additionally, to the delight of fans, the price for Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection won’t be the full $59.99. The exact price point wasn’t mentioned, so once we know here at Saiyan Island, we will be sure to let you know!

In the interview the release date of Winter 2012 was mentioned. However, Namco Bandai France has announced the game will hit retailers (in France at least) in November 2012. We expect the North American version to come out around that same time period.

Lastly, there are battles going on-screen during the interview. They include Piccolo vs Nappa, Goku vs Raditz, Tien vs Krillin, and Goku vs Gohan!
