At the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, the folks at GameSpot had the opportunity to talk to Namco Bandai Games America Brand Manager Jason Enos and watch Producer Brandon Williams assume the role of the playable character. The gameplay footage in the interview is of Piccolo vs Raditz and then later on Goku vs Vegeta.
As for the information from the interview, much of it is what we already know. An interesting thing we did hear was the Episode of Bardock anime special that comes with the game will not need to be unlocked. It will be available to view from the moment the game disc is popped into the Xbox 360.
Dragon Ball Z Kinect (officially known as Dragon Ball Z for Kinect) is in development by Spike Chunsoft. It will feature over 50 playable characters and put players in a first person scenario as they act like the heroes and villains they love from the Dragon Ball Z series thanks to Microsoft’s Kinect. The game will be published in North America and Europe by Namco Bandai Games October 2012 for the Microsoft Xbox 360.
