Dragon Ball Z Video Games Producer Interviewon July 8, 2012 at 7:00 PM
The 2012 Japan Expo is now over, but new content and information from the exciting event continues it’s way onto the Internet! The latest is Dragon Ball Z video games producer interview! Koji Nakajima, the producer behind several Namco Bandai games including Dragon Ball Z for Kinect, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi, was at the event to talk about some of his works. YouTube user and Dragon Ball Z fan Treevax had the great opportunity to interview Nakajima-san about Dragon Ball Z Kinect as well as Dragon Ball Z video games in general. This includes talk about a potential Dragon Ball Raging Blast 3, the falsely confirmed Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Omega, and Dragon Ball Z Zenkai Battle Royal for PS3/360.
Just to be clear, Dragon Ball Raging Blast 3, Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Omega, and Dragon Ball Z Zenkai Battle Royale for PS3/360 are NOT confirmed in any way. The interviewers just express their interest and ask Nakajima-san about his opinions and if the games can become a reality. Rest assured though DBZ fans, according to the interview, Namco Bandai “will still continue making more [Dragon Ball Z] games.”
Anyways, enjoy the interview in the videos below!
Dragon Ball Z Kinect (officially known as Dragon Ball Z for Kinect) is in development by Spike Chunsoft. It will feature over 50 playable characters and put players in a first person scenario as they act like the heroes and villains they love from the Dragon Ball Z series thanks to Microsoft’s Kinect. The game will be published in North America and Europe by Namco Bandai Games October 2012 for the Microsoft Xbox 360.
