I have a theory, since other leaf shinobi and choza can be seen in this trailer having an active part in the fight, it may be possible that the same thing might take place during the shinobi war part of story mode.

That was actually quite informative, I’ve never had too much of an issue with blood censorship but it should look even better if its closer to the manga violence wise now

Looks like the giant beast battles of Storm 1 are back (Third Hokage vs. Kuruma – Nine-Tails) and the boss battles of Storm 2 included, good that they took the negitivity of Generations and went back to the Storm 2 way Can’t wait!

is their gonna be a sub bar or not?

On a separate scan there appeared to be a sub bar. Regardless of whether there is or not I would love it to be as difficult as it used to be, in generations it was far too easy and combos were pretty much handicapped unless all bars were gone, and then it turned to a silly game of cat and mouse. I would actually like to have a sub bar,along with the sub difficulty of storm 1/2 which would provide the timing and casual gaming of storm 1/2, along with the tactical benefits that the sub bar in generations somewhat provided but was ultimately prevented from fully showing due to the natural ease.

Or they could scrap the sub bar, and simply make the chakra consumption larger, e.g taking a fifth a sub. That way you would have the combo potential of previous games whilst being able to use quick thinking and skill to induce situations shown in generations with the added tactical well of being able to charge up your chakra (perhaps make it recover more slowly). By also making the timing difficult, trap scenarios are never guaranteed and tactics have to be thought up in a much smaller time frame (as opposed to generations where you would always know and guarantee when you would sub because it was so easy, and this guarantee turned it into the ‘who will deplete their sub bar first, and will the other be able to actually land a combo afterwards for the first time in a watch’s game.

From the looks of this trailer, this game will continue on from where Storm generations left off at. This seems to be the part where Kushina tells Naruto the truth about what actually happened 16 years before the start of the whole series. 

Cant wait for this! Looks like Story Mode is going to be epic again! Time to start saving up!

Really hoping and praying for alternate costumes!!!!

I have a feeling that they’ll cover the whole nine tails attack and then start where storm 2 left off. Maybe skipping the 5 kage summit arc. And I think that it will end with the defeat of madara or kabuto in the 4th ninja war. Because I’m pretty sure this game won’t be finishing up the entire naruto series/war. 

 if they’re doing giant boss battles again then they have to redo the sasuke vs. bee battle. i want a giant 8 tails fighting sasuke as well as some assist from suigetsu, jugo, maybe karin (like wat the konoha ninjas r doing in this trailer, i mean thats where storm 2 truly left off at, you know, if this is a sequel)

also the game may have 107 characters and you are able to explore konoha at will like storm 1 with a true 3 vs 3 battle. with new features for online battle

did any one notice that at the end of each storm trailer they show a picture, storm 2 shown the 4 tails generation shows pts and ts naruto and this one shows the 9 tails. huh? interesting

that’s what i said when they came out with the sub bar. why not just consume more chakra?! The sub,as i think, just made so much more problems than it did solve. In storm 2 sasori was the only problem i worried about, but in generations it was all the puppet users, tsuchikage, mased man, pre-timeskip tenten, pain, and so many more

I don’t know about you, but in storm 2 (haven’t played 1 yet), substitution was almost as simple as in generations. you mash block and you substitute. I don’t understand why they can’t just make a system like dragonball raging blast, tenkaichi and others, where you need RELLY good timing and when you don’t do it on the first try it shuts down so mashing doesn’t work. The Sub-Bar didn’t completely solve the issue, but in my opinion it improved it. So when I empty the enemies sub-bar i can finally do a full combo, which was impossible in storm 2 unless the opponent has no chakra left (very rare)…
