what really, i think generations doesn’t even compare to this, it was just 3 boring ordinary fights with little clip scans that told the story, i know everyone has there own opinion and all, i just can see how you think generations demo was better. anyway isn’t weird they released the demo so early i mean this time last year there was generations gameplay but definitely no demo (they called it a demo but it wasn’t a real demo it was just gameplay)

I feel that the new characters that could/should be included as playable are… Darui, Dosu, Sound 4, Kinkaku/Ginkaku, Mifune, Hanzo, Madara, Tobi (War arc), Nagato, Kitsuchi, zetsu, fourth kazekage, third raikage, second mizukage, second tsuchikage, kurenai, and all the jinchuriki. if they all were in that would be epic

Al sound awsome (especially NAGATO!!!!!) except Dosu and Kitsuchi.  Not that I dislike them (well, Dosu is a d*ck), but I cant see them having a moveset.  And as for zetsu, I only se BLACK zetsu being playable, unles they make WHITE zetsu like charade (from soulcalibur 2) and have him take on a completely random moveset, ninjutsu, and ultimate of one of the many characters in the game in order to compliment his shapeshifting and chakra copying abilities.  Now THAT would be cool!

the only reason I say Dosu is that there was some talk about putting him in Generations from the makers of the game. It seemed like it was a possibility. For Zetsu…idk to be honest. But i think it’s high time he got included. And I believe that Kitsuchi has enough moves in the manga. It’s not hard to make a move set either, just a lot of earth style. After all he is the leader of the second division. 

I agree with your selections 100%, plus a few extras of my own.  I was just seeing dificulty in a moveset for Kitsuchi, Dosu, and WHITE Zetsu.  If its the WHOLE Zetsu (as in both of BLACK & WHITE conjoined), then i’m plum out of ideas.

Maybe a survival mode where, you fight zetsu clones, or, ninja summoned by the edo tensei.

naruto ninja storm generations ended where the manga ended i dont think it has to do with the anime and the manga will probably end sometime this year if not early next year in reply to Mister Kring

this is the same as generations but include boss battle and maybe better graphic, but the fighting system is the same v.v god damn it, I was thinking that the Storm 3 will be something difference.

Dude this is the first glimpses we get from storm 3 i feel that there are alot more things they’ll get to reveal like in Gen the first demo didn’t have a sub bar but they added one in later in  the scans 

 Animations are good but not the best I’ve seen, but in terms of graphics OP: Pirate Warriors easily wins, the Storm series don’t even have actual textures, just flat low resolution single color palette swaps.

I am glad they added boss battles back, don’t mind the sub bar much since it actually makes people use the circle button as opposed to just spamming jutsus.

to those how think the game didn’t add anything on the gameplay. remember when we saw Generations at the first time? it was storm 2 with sasuke and raikage, that’s only! and the game show us some changes at the gameplay later, so don’t think that storm 3 has show us all the changes. i’m pretty sure there is some different on the gameplay and i hope it ‘ll be useful

Why people have to come and say that it’s the same game but with little modifications? Seriously, the game will only be released on 2013! That’s a lot of time for a lot of changes! So, calm down and wait!

The move that Minato does with the over the top rasengan while awakened is indeed a new mechanic. It seems awakening will now have a kind of “signature” attack on R1/L1 to replace supports. As interesting as that is, so far I’m not impressed.

It’s coming out on 2013. The war arc will be over by then.

I also think that awakenings need a major change. There should be some new ones like, Orochimaru’s eight headed serpent jutsu, Choji’s butterfly wings (both young and old), Half shukaku young gaara, and curse mark second state jugo. Those are just a few. 

So, What Happens If You Use Minato And That Move When You Aren’t Fighting Tobi Or Masked Man? Does It Just Go Through Their Brain And You Get An Instant K.O? O.o 

During the intermission where it shows you the controls I see what you’re talking about, but I didn’t actually see the person try it in the video, all I saw were a bunch of rasengan combos and two ultimates

you know minato’s grab, how he throws kunai then disappear behind opponent then cuts them, well i think they should change to instead of cutting him doing the rasengan as shown above, that would be pretty cool to me at least

It can only be done in awakening mode. It probably will be preset for each character.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAh! there’s the cursed substitution bar again. only one request of mine would be to CC2 to remove the bar or keep it but make the substitutions exactly like storm 1 and 2. That thing is a spamma’s paradise

No, it keeps people from mashing the triggers with almost no gauge to dodge a perfectly timed attack. It also makes combos actually useful as oppose to Storm 2 where you couldn’t land 2 hits without an instant substitution. I wouldn’t mind a the chakra bar being split into eight bars though (one to substitute, two for jutsu, six for ultimate jutsu).

I’m sure we’ll get new combos and grabs and stuff this game has been in development since a bit after completion of Asura’s Wrath.    Remember how Zabuza had all the same moves as Suigetsu in the Generations in the gameplay trailers of Generations but he had all different moves (except a bigger, crappier water dragon) in the final product. Unfortunately Zabuza is garbage in Generations. Suigetsu, however has an amazing ability to punish people who run out of sub bar (his canceled combo is unbelievable i got a solid 40% damage combo online).

that’s what i’m saying, keep the sub bar, or make a bar that limits substitutions, so people will have to plan them out, but make subsittutions like storm 1 and 2 so they will be a little harder to pull off and it won’t turn into a “who runs out of subs first” battle because, in generations, you could sub out of ANYTHING. no matter how good the opponent is, if you have a sub bar, you’re safe and that’s not cool.

Amen to that. from the end of Pain saga, all the way to end of naruto. or at least end of 4th shinobi war. so we can have chars like, kyuubi chakra mode naruto (real thing with all the jutsus not the cash in, generations one), kyuubi chakra mode naruto-version 2 as a regular char and it’s awakening-bijuu mode naruto. Edo itachi with yasaka magatama, izanami etc… nagato, edo madara (perfect susanoo as awakening)meteor as ultimate, tobi 6 paths, “sage” kabuto, ems sasuke, 3rd raikage, tsunade with a good awakening i hope like jinton, possibilities are nearly endless.

The sub bar should definetly stay , Ns2 subs were spamable and couldn’t get out of wht you wnted when you needed it to. And you could never get a full combo off, except that one combo with every character that always worked. There should defintely be a sub recharge button so peopple have too choose between subs and chakra(jutsu,dashing,shuriken,ougis,etc.

so would u rather play a 5-10 hr game and be bored with it in 2 months or play a better storyline game and be bored with it more than a couple months later

Honestly? that game was generations for me.story mode didn’t take much longer thatn 4 hours. Then i tested out all chars. beat challenges. played couple matches online (37 to be exact) and just quit. Storm 1, it took me around 30 hours i think to complete story mode with every bonus and S rank on all missions and it was SOOOO much fun. Storm 2 story mode, meh, boss battles were nice, other than that, too linear and boring but it still took pretty long. and once again, honestly, my friends and i put twice as much time in Storm than Storm 2 and Generations combined, even though it had almost two times less chars than storm 2. 1 and 2 were awesome still, i had some minor problems with 1 and i had some problems with 2. It was Generations that felt like a cash grab to me so i hope 3 will not go down the same path

This particular thing would not have happened in Storm 1 or two or at least it would’ve taken SERIOUS timing skills to get out of that one, while in generations, you just press L2 and that’s it. Safe to hit homerun.

Yes I do understand what you are saying, my point is that without a limit to subs the matches become annoying and jutsu based, but the your scenario has made me realize that I do prefer the setup from storm 2 better so you can preform. Powerful combos like that, but if they don’t add the extra health bars that you could apply by going to game options , I would preferr the setup for generation ecausee preforming a team attack then ultimate wass to easy on storm 2

I will say that I would prefer the sub bars over the setup from storm 2 but I will be happy either way with this release of the new game, butas you can see the sub bars are already. Part of the game and with CC2 there is no way they will be changing there minds so the rest of you will have to cope and addapt to the new system or not buy the game , which you will any way regardless of what they do to the game because you simply love naruto.

teams 7 , 10 , 2 and 8 (the 12 friends hinata neji ino etc..) all new combos and jutsus and ultimates and the war costume along side there  usual looks

Idont feel they need new combos but they should get new jutsu, and ougi and interchangeble grabs

 If we get old move sets recicled again it will be the 3º game that we get old stuff from previous games, and when we buy new games we want new stuff. For Old move sets we already have Storm2 and Generations. I/We Want new Things!XD

they better not recycle pain’s move set that was beyond bad nothing about that move set made sense and not in a good way. Ninja hero’s three’s pain move set was better and it was universally panned as the worst

I all I want is Nagato with gedo mazo awakening. Anyone else want a boss fight with hanzo or at least a fight with him in the story I noticed they games usually skip over that battle.

What makes you think the younger characters are going to be in this game? I doubt they will.

Well for starters they’ve already been in the game. To take them out would make a lot of fans mad and since this may be one of there last games, that would definitely not be a smart move. Also, it’s already been said in the early description of the game that the character roster will be the largest of all Naruto games. This could not be achieved without the younger characters in the game. Therefore, it’s already practically been confirmed. What makes you think they won’t be?

no i mean the japan demo. i create a japan account and then i checked naruto shipudden ultimate ninja storm 3 demo right now and i didn’t saw 
it 

What you don’t get however is the fact that they simply won’t take out characters. The story covers around the 5 kate summit to the end of the war yes, but the story mode isn’t the only mode in the game. Obviously. So, since there is online mode and versus mode, a depletion in the roster will not happen. They will definitely add war arc characters though. But they won’t replace the old characters. Your preference will not happen buddy. Sorry.

The only things i care about are Jutsu customization (at least 3 Jutsus per character) not including the ultimate which need to be more epic, the most characters in any Naruto game not including part 1 characters, the free roam from storm 1 and story detail like storm 2 and this might be weird but Narutos house from the PS2 Naruto games haha.

No changes in game play whatsoever from what I can see… If they don’t start upping the Ante then the Storm series will just become another franchise spam.

Why not open up the combat arena’s more? Or hell, find out a way to incorporate freeroaming into the combat? (Toggling Lock on, Toggling combat/exploration controls) Where’s wall running? They should attempt to make the best Naruto game they can, but instead they are sticking to the same formula over and over again. :/

New characters only does so much, and the graphics are barely updating.

You still have to wait, CC2′s expo-demos are rarely close to what the actual game is going to offer. When I played Generations on Gamescom last year there was no sub-bar and different combos and jutsu, I don’t say they will change everything but the demo will surely evolve over time.

 yhh his air combo sucks and you cant chain combos unless you chakra cancel. atleast they could of put bansho ten’in as the tilt to either chain or start combos. Plus when he awakens maybe instead of one pain used in each combo, they could use 2 or three (like naruto does with his shadow clones) including a few of the 5 elements. Pain a huge potential when it comes to combos so hopefully cc2 realise

People who keep asking for more free roam play in the fighting please go play DBZ or Dynasty Warriors…

I cannot agree with you more. They created such a beautiful Naruto expierience with Storm 1 and 2 – free roam 3D Konoha and huge boss battles with fantastic quck-time cutscenes..I haven’t played Generations, but if I’m not mistaken then it did lack those huge boss battles and of course there was no 3D village like in the 1th game…one of the biggest dissapointments is the removal of those cinematic ultimate jutsus that kinda atleast for me defined Ultimte Nija series. Why won’t they improve the game? That is a mystery to me. Why not add a stage damage after a character does an ultimate jutsu and wall running with those awesome jutsu clashes?

If you don’t want it then wait until they release a game that goes to your expectations. You don’t have to type bothersome comments, do you think they will come here and waste there time for just one comment. For me character roster is the only thing that is important
