Omg.. you may go awakening any point in battle but might get fatigue if you awaken to early, Hellz yeah thats something that just upped the game for me.

why didnt the person ask if the storymode, will have storm 2s open world of traveling to places. mixed with the large scale open world of storm 1

Costume:
I love it, if they could make an what if costume for naruto and sasuke wearing their leaf village’s jounin flap jackets, Or itachi and kakashi back in their anbu outfits, which is technically considered canon, even thou they were only shown in flashbacks. 

Story mode/gameplay wise: 
since its going back to Storm 2 roots, It’ll return the same dbz-ish fighting style that the anime never had, just imagine playing as sasuke on his hawk dodging danzo’s wind jutsus creating some rediculous jutsu that sasuke could had never done in the anime or manga, while at the sametime clicking the command buttons to do crazy jutsus. Or naruto trying to take out nagato on his re-animated bird, then all of sudden once nagato is at his 100% power, he’ll use all these rediculous godlike elements such as an tsunami or gigantic piles of rocks thrown at you, while naruto would have to jump and land on 8 tailed and run up his arm to deliver an Rasen shuriken lol. 

Multiplayer gameplay wise:
I highly doubt longer jutsus will return, but I am glad they allow us to transform sooner, and from the looks of what he said, they’ll basically be slow, similar to how tsunade was back on the PS2 ( NUN3 ) where after she basically awakened her healing and attack power, she became extremely slow. I also noticed that the interviewer said will their be customization, where the developer said, they might consider it, but then the next question was about costumes, and the guy said they’ll be new jutsu and outfits. to me it seems like contradiction, simply cause he said he would think about it later on done development, yet he mentioned they’re “WILL” be new jutsu. In otherwords its going to be the same 6 different whatever narutos, but since he said they’ll be new jutsu when “awakened” that’ll mean they’ll probley reduce most of the naruto’s and sasuke characters, idk seems confusing.. 

the plot: 
he seemed hesitate about saying will madara be in the game, sure not to spoil it for others, but then again.. what’s their to hide? all he had to say, it’ll go all the way up to the end of naruto.. So unless the manga has an additional arc after the war, I think the story will go up NEAR the climax but not ending of naruto. its possible that he too might not know how the actual manga will end, so its justify why he’ll laugh and say he doesn’t know yet. my personal opinion, he’ll save the finale of naruto for generations. as much as storm 3 seems it’ll be great, I think they’re going to save their FULL potential for either storm generations 2 or an whole new naruto game.. if not storm 4 but hey, its only the early stages, infact if I’m correct generations was confirmed last year on june, and the stuff they had for that is nothing compared to its final. So storm 3 will still have allot more than expected.. as for me.. no madara, means no storm 3.

Even though he isnt in the anime yet, he will be soon. Luckily, the fillers seem to have been skipped this time around. Usually we’d be in filler right now.

i will love if they make a bleach game like how naruto storm is from the begining of bleach to the end of bleach.

Well they aren’t really the same thing. In dbz games transforming doesn’t really give you any boosts, it just changes appearance and your moveset. Also most dbz games allow you to choose the transformation before the fight.

It was called Storm GENERATIONS for a reason, this is not Generations 2 this is Storm 3 and people seemed to have forgotten this just because they’ve gotten a little taste of nostalgia

No offense but seriously if you want to play as the PTS characters then just stick with Storm 1 and Generations, I don’t see why CC2 has to suffer for people that don’t know how to control their cravings for more nostalgia.

 cc2 has allot of preasure from fans dude not just the fans but the people who ask cc2 to release the game as soon as possible and they do their very best to please the fans so you should be greatful that their even thinking about us fans and making this storm 3 game for us fans I for one am greatful to them even if there is some things i dont like about generations does not mean i am not greatful for putting all their effort into the game and not even that dude they started on s3 when they finished with ng,

hmmm. I dont know if I read your post right but This game begins past that part. This games starts after the Kage Summit and covers the actual 4th shinobi world war.

 dude cc2 tries hard in their games they dont sit in their coach and be like ya ya do that no they listen to fans and for james he should chill out the game was not meant for him alone but for many fans i do with cc2 started the story from very beginning of shippuden but i know that wont happen I am still glad we get to have a game

I knew the moment generation’s was confirmed, that it’s sole purpose was to add part 1 and 2, while storm series focused more on shippuden. CC2 imo are really smart when it comes to getting our money. that’s why I think ( atleast according to this article ) that CC2 we’ll either end the naruto series here or stop somewhere in the war, and let the future unknown naruto have the complete story of naruto part 1 and 2, its not trying hard, but playing smart. but idiot james issac thinks not only me but others are idiots, dumba**, for stating something that will most likely come true.

What kind of stupid question is this? The games always go up til’ the point where the anime is around the release date. this game comes out next year, sometimes spring, and Madara’s appear in the anime is like 5-8 episodes away? thats October at worst case, of course he will be in. if they don’t filler the hell out of the series, then the anime should be around the point where the manga is now sometimes early next year.

If the manga ends this year or early next year (which is plausable, since the final battle coming up), then the anime will speed up, and by the release date it maybe even finishes, just like how the FMA brotherhood anime ended 2 weeks after the manga ended.

You can’t start with transformations in the original Budokai games but that’s irrelevant. 

CC2 don’t need to go as far as DBZ (massively nerfing transformations) to make this work they just need to balance it out with awakening penalties, which are already a part of the game. Cool down times, stat drops after awakenings wear off, etc. They can balance it easy.

Ok, Some Questions Were Answered But most of these questions sucked like i wanna know more about The story mode because if the style from Storm 2 Is returning when it took you a thousand years to get something accomplished and limited Mobility ima be so dissapointed they should return to storm 1 style and are new modes included? Online features, this sucked.

But even on the slim chance that was true they could have added them in later as dlc, but they couldn’t bother with that because they are cheap.

I’d like to see what, “costumes,” they will have for characters that they didn’t have before, something like Taka with their cloaks (excluding Sasuke), the new cloaks that the reanimated Akatsuki have, A with his white coat, and the like.

No PTS characters is a plus. They were built differently then the Storm 2 characters, and it shows considerably in Generations.

As silly as it sounds i think its so people can create a ninja with the powers they like the most, but if create a ninja does make it i doubt it will be very well done probably a short list of faces you choose from. plus it adds more characters to the game.

while i am disappointed that part 1 characters are gone, and i was really looking forward to them especially the sound 4 however, now that its been confirmed that they wont be in, the impact of this news didn’t hit me as hard as i thought it would, so i think i can deal. look on the bright side awakening from the beginning, thats going to bring a whole new twist to the battle, now that this is confirmed i doubt there going the make kyuubi chakra naruto playable onlly

ye when it comes to the pts characters they were lazy and just reused the old already built ones from storm 1, unless they redid them completely i can care less, as for customization they never done it before for the storm series, plus they have the make and see if it works before they can say we have it hence the phrase “coming up with new ways”, just be patient

Storm 1 had customizable jutsu/costumes, not like the separately built similar characters of Generations. It was real customization.

i dont know why people complain about this, ive never lost a battle with someone using masked man, in fact im more confident if they do because that big spamming jutsu is actually a big weakness, but i guess not many people know this, i can care less whether they keep him the same or not

And do not forget to put those character: Pakura, Toroi, Gari and Darui.E discupa there if I’m asking more is that these characters are the basics so that the fans are happy differentiated characters.

  Until Cyberconnect 2 announces something like “Naruto Ultimate Ninja
Storm Universe”….a good combination of all the storm games. I don’t
think anyone is going to be satisfied. I will buy Storm 3 but I will

Oh yeah forgot about Fairy Tail and Reborn but yeah they need to make games about those as well. For Fairy Tail I would love to have a battle with Natsu Vs. Gajeel and for KHR I would love to have a battle with Tsuna Vs. Byakuran

Explain to me how that’s a smart decision. You and a lot of other people are stuck on the mindset that to have new characters you have to ditch old characters. This isn’t so. You can still add new characters and keep old ones. The Part 1 characters were great additions and now other characters like the sound 4 won’t even be considered. Is that what you want? New characters will be great but there will be a big gap where the Part 1 characters left.

i’m really happy that this dont have pts characters. there’s no logic to it . it’s a sequel not a new game. and i prefer 10000x they make this the last game with all shippuden characters than going to a storm 4 or generations 2

Its SMART because it involves MONEY, and each character has an price tag over its head, they know if an “certain character” is in an game, that’ll increase there sales dramatically. the characters whose worth alot are saved for later occasions. why does it take so long to make the sound 4? why is it so hard to make some of these supports to become playable? why all of sudden would they remove part 1 ninja’s from storm 3 instead of having ALL characters in from beginning to end? cause they knew from the start that they would drag this franchise and sqeeze as much profit from it until till its completely dry. as much as people don’t want to accept it. its the same BS from the DBZ saga when they “remove” certain characters. why?! so they could use them for the sequel, meaning more cash.

I’m a little bummed out that the PTS characters won’t be returning, but what do you expect? positiveemotions is right about it being called Naruto Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Storm “3″ and not “Generations”. The game is a sequel to Storm 2 and not Generations, but either way this game is going to be great! That animation shown in the Kyuubi invasion flashback is BEASTLY!!!

What i really don’t wanna see are the same combos from previous storm  2 and Generation games! I don’t wanna buy a New game that is a Copy Paste of what i already have(storm2 and Generations)|
 If that happens i will not buy the game, at least on day one! But there is time to change that right? I mean, the game only come out in 2013!

No pts characters actually is a good thing! The main goal is the Fourth Shinobi War, they need to focus on that! For all that characters wait Until the Generations2 come out!

My ideas on what should be in the game, longer ougis for offline only cause I know everyone and CC2 said it was not compatible for online even though it would be a great way to get out of someones jutsu. Clash jutsu should make a comeback for storm three, it makes us (well at least me) feel like I am in the anime, and DBZ could do it I know CC2 can do it to and I’m not trying to compare CC2 with them.

Next environment battle; like tree jumping and fighting at the same time, fighting on walls, jumping to one spot to another like building to building while fighting or just throwing jutsu/ weapons at your opponent, and last but not least effective environment where you can use it to your advantage. Like knocking someone into another area and doing damage to the battle field or setting traps like Naruto hiding a clone underground.

I would like the RPG from storm 1 back cause the storm 2 was terrible, and I would like for not just Naruto to explore but also other characters who story is around it. Speaking of Characters I would like the following people to be playable.
1: Kushina with her Red Hot-Blooded Habanero mode.
2 The gold and silver brother with Kin six tail form (Gin should be support like the peins).
3: All six paths of pein for be playable or at lest three of them.
4: Nagato/ Pein should have Banshō Ten’in as their move and Nagato should be young or have 2 awakenings one is his white hair 2nd in his max and 3rd in asura form.
4: Madara which mostly he will be in it but he should have 3 awakenings. 1 EMS. 2 Rin. 3 complete Susanoo with legs.
5: All the edo Kage should be playable not support.
6: Zabuso should have the seven swords to support him and have an ougi with them helping.
7: Choji in his butterfly form.
8: Naruto and Sasuke should have the following forms/ awakenings. Initial form with 1-4 tails, Sage mode with his initial form and sixtails, Kyubi charka form and Bujii form. Sasuke should have CM1-2, MS, EMS and Susanoo. 
9: Haku.
10: 1st and 2nd Hokage should be playable.
11: Kabuto’s sage mode

As for support all other edo ninjas and anyother shinobi that fought in the war.

I disagree with you.  I think the majority of fans would prefer pts characters to be included.  Yes its CC2′s choice.  Yes I can’t do anything about it.  But your reasoning of the “shippuden” name is completely bogus. 

ps having those characters in the game doesn’t make me happy at all.  cc2 said that they would make 3 the ultimate naruto game.  doesn’t look like it so far.

I think all seven ninja swordsman should be in it ive been useing kisame and zabuza is all i got and they hav so much potentiol their not like the pains where each have one special move of their own especially because they hav seven diifrent swords so completly diffrent moves and im most excited that in the interview they said no part 1 character phew (Rock lee) but they will be adding alot ALot AOLTTT! of new characters

remember what happend with generations they did the story up until the last episode before the release of the game so we have alot to be excited for

@RedDragon10 yea the sound 4 was a bit disappointing I agree on that but maybe they didn’t include them bc cc2 didnt have time to put them there bc it takes a long time to come up with moves set for characters and uj and jutsus for them as well is something they have to think long and hard for and i am guessing they didnt have time for that bc maybe while they were making generations they were making storm 3

Its a very good thing the sub-bar is back,because it helps stop spmmers,but at the same time I think to add realism they are gonna have to stop the jutsu spamming. Like the new fatigue thing,I think they should add that to jutsu aswell,because in the actual manga/show,the ninja do get tired after using certain amount of chakra.Therefore if they wanna be realistic “to me” that wud be a good idea. Also I think a limit on ultimate wud not be bad,lets say you get two times to try to pull off your ultimate,that wud also help in stopping spammers. And I think this part should at least end off to where they see Madara…”atleast” lol it should.

you have no idea how the awakening at the beginning of a match will affect the battle so dont make opinionated assumptions, and as much as i like the sound 4 they are a small part of the series (30 ep. if that) so they are not a big deal, same with the part 1 characters (its like having db characters in a dbz game, who the hell would play with kid goku who cant even fly over ssj3 goku), as for subs and dashes that shit was better than the spamming crap they had in storm 2, unless you like to spam of course

You gotta be shittin me the sub bar and dash is better then storm 2 because of spam dude i got news for you any game online is gonna have spam and in generations the dash shit just made it worse i can deal with sub bar but it’s pointless when some ass is gonna dash you all match i mean sure you can block but not forever then you have those cheesy ass supports like anko,karin,hidan who take up two of your subs what kind of bullshit is that i hit sub once and it subs twice glitch much storm 1 and 2 will remain the best in my eyes.

The sub bar wasn’t the problem. It was the actually sub system itself in Generations. Restriction against substitutions is a wonderful addition to the battle system because it actually provides the player a chance to perform full combos without fear of getting punished for it defensively by their opponent. However, the system itself was severely broken in Generations.

In my opinion, the sub system should return to its roots, where you would always sub behind the opponent when attacked, without interruption from oncoming attacks for a split second. This, paired with the sub bar restrictions, chakra dash cancel, chakra air dash, and some sort of “counter attack” mechanic implemented into the battle system, would provide a fair and enjoyable experience for a majority of the players. 

This and no subbing during attacks, and put back subbing during c.dash. It promotes spamming since they can sub at any time with no regard to what they do. 

Also, strengthen guard. The c.dash spam coupled with supports like Hidan, kimimaro, etc is ridiculous. You can’t defend yourself.

I want Zetsu too but i want him as a whole, not seperate he looks badass. I am worried that they will only give us the shitty white half.

It’s a good opinion.  The people who hate the sub bar and chakra dash cancel are people who refuse to adjust to new games and they are garbage spammers/bad kids. And that’s my opinion

well he said no part 1 chars but alot ALOT! of new characters just who they are the strongest swordsmen in just wouldent be right and i think their wont be anymore support only i think generations was just so CC2 has more time to my storm 3 they best and most awsome naruto yet!

With all the ninja i counted and excluding the PTS chars, i can imagine just as many.They would have to put many minor chars in, Sound 4 Kurenai Shizune & Anko included!

Remember in the Japanese version of Ultimate Ninja 2 (Narutimate Heroes 2) how the villains from the movie was playable? Yeah… I kind of want that… I think that would be pretty swanky. It be a nice treat, especially since this games story mode only covers the war, it’s gonna have a HUGE roster. Having the characters costume’s from “Road to Ninja” would be pretty freakin’ sweat. I’d love playing as happy Sasuke or…Tsunade style Hinata.
 

 the ppl who hate the chakra dash cancel have very good reason as it makes the game all about speed making slower characters like Zabusa, Kisame, Choji/etc vulnerable to fast combo characters like lee/Sasuke/etc after they sub the fast characters. They are unable to attack back cause there to slow so they block the chakra dash but still won’t change the fact if Kisame attacks at the same time as lee after the blocked chakra dash. Kisame will get hit 1st and always 1st. the only way for Kisame to hit lee if they attack at the same time is being farther away but its useless as chakra dash canceling puts lee right in Kisame face….Your move.

I like the sub bar but hate the chakra dash im not saying remove it but make it less spamable just like jutsus/ult and shuriken. I see so many ppl charge up and jutsu, charge up jutsu, charge up…rasengan Barrage. Add limited amount of Shuriken, characters getting fatigued from spamming jutsus and ult is a nice thing as well. If this game is all about strategy than fucking make it about strategy not who has the faster character and cheaper supports.

i really hope tht u can do things in storm 1 like: CLASHES, knocked on the wall in free battle, roaming the village and hopefully go outside the village. and things in storm 2 [which we already have]: boss battles, customize your own team in story mode. things tht i would like new in storm 3 could b like o i dnt no – DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS!!
tht would be epic. but as i see it its like for storm 3, ur making a cake. and as storm 1, storm 2, and fan suggestions… these are the ingredients to make this cake. so all you gotta do is put in a little of this, a little of tht, and storm 3 (the cake) is DONE!! so hopefully as those things i really hope they take into consideration and get things POPPIN!

Response to Big Man.   Clashes won’t appear in Storm 3, the reason, lag for online matches. Offline maybe.   Knocking people on the wall will be impractical for online and the animation in storm 1 was way to slow and real people rarely ever got hit with it. Roaming the village could be possible except that the game starts at the 3rd hokage fighting the kyubi and minato fighting masked man and then the game goes straight to the 4th Great Ninja War. It’d be cool to run around the battlefield though. Boss battles will be in the game.   If you want destructible environments, forget it. CC2 would have to make Storm 3 like Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi which had destructible environments everywhere but UT was the worst dragonball z game of all time. Offline though, it’d be a very good possibility.

@yahoo-M5S46ZASSKVG7XEDE47HQEBGAI:disqus I’m sorry to say it but the chakra dash cancel is a good thing to have in the game.  Kisame and Choji are two of my most used characters on Storm Gen.  If you know the PTS Lee or PTS Neji or whoever is going to chakra dash you after you sub, then block the chakra dash (They will then be stunned for a little bit) and chakra dash them as quick as you can and start your combo.  This game is not broken at all for all the people who complain about the chakra dash and sub bar.  You just need to learn ways around things! There is always something you can do! Try it out and let me know how it goes.  Because it DOES work!

how is Peins different move style impossible? hmm Godly characters like Pein deserve to have the same moves but different animations or styles. I mean come on.

it would be awesome if they added so u could create your own ninja train him/her up and choose which village you would like to live in like the hidden leaf hidden sand… and learn new jutsus and improve them. A little story mode for your character wouldn’t be to much either. i know i’m asking to much but i really hope CC2 will think about it:)

The PTS characters revealed are just 6 of the leaf, and one of the sand. (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Neji, Lee, and Gaara) Six popular characters from the PTS. Maybe there’s some kinda use. At this point, it’s barely 2 weeks until the game is released. No change can be made and it’s only 6 out of 81 playable characters(excluding the support obviously). Personally, I’d rather have other chars like Anko, Kurenai, Shizune, etc. But we have to be okay with it since it won’t be changed. Compared to all the new released chars that will be in the game, no care here if they have the PTS lol
