2.5 years don’t mean shiznite to me, just look at what happened to Duke Nukem Forever which was in 14 years of development. I do trust in CC2 though and hope that they’ve added a bunch of content in this game that will make it the most entertaining Naruto Shippuden game yet(or at least the best out of the Storm games).

 I highly doubt that there will be over 150 characters(I bet for around 100) ,but Anko will obviously be in the game…You should expect everyone that was support only(except the sound 4 I guess) to be fully playable

The you could do a better gameplay, add two normal jutsus in battle as in PS2 Naruto games; bring back long ultimate jutsus and mini games during a match, such as rock-paper-scissors and substitution additional blow.!

Mission mode.

I loved the mission modes in Ultimate Ninja 1 & 2. They kind of got away from it starting with 3 and they became more like side quests with very little battles.

But the mission mode gave you certain requirements you had to fulfill to complete them. For example, one mission only allowed you to use ninja tools to win the fight. It was a very challenging and fun experience, and the challenges got more and more difficult with each rank (going from D to S).

Also, I figured the development started back when Gen was being made. Why else would they have half-a$$ed Gen?

Also, Jezamiah, I think generations was what it was supposed to be, giant load of charakters and many multiplayer-options. they promised that and they gave that. perhaps it was a bit expensive for that, though^^

In my opinion I believe ginkaku, kinkaku, tobi with the rinnegan and Madara are obvious to be playable if this is the final game

finally with the quick time events we can finally get the feel that EVERY fight is a boss battle like what they did with minato vs tobi where it was to small to make a boss fight out of it but still wanted to go cinimatic

I dont mind her moves but her UJ should be that paper bomb ocean jutsu lol i want to see how they will do that. 

 It could be a “War” mode, where you and maybe a few people online, let’s say 4 players go against a bunch of Zetsu’s, but that’s all I can really think off.

Unless they do Tag Team battles and have 3 on 3 or something.

 Storm 3 is to carry on the story, therefore Part 1 won’t be in. Though, if I was you I wouldn’t worry too much. CC2 will milk the series and have every single character so far in the games plus fillers in another Generation type game just so the Naruto fans can get more. I can just totally see that happening.

with updated graphics and cinematic boss battles,that fight will probably be included,either way i was hoping for the same thing

I don’t think theres going to be a storm 4.In early 2013 the anime will be farther than the manga is right at this moment,In january or february they would already be past the Saske and Itachi vs Kabuto fight meaning that would be in the game.A Storm 4 wouldn’t have a story or New characters since all Characters have been revealed in the manga.The manga would already be done so why are they following the anime.They might as well just finish the rest with DLC

Well, I guess this answers the question of naruto ending anytime soon.

CC2 only said what they said to quell fan’s anger on the disappointing generations game.  They have no intentions of waiting until the ending of the manga or anime when they see the series as a cash cow. 

I have this weird feeling that it won’t go up to the end.. we only have like less than 36 chapters until spring 2013. It might not be enough for the manga to reach the end, though I could be wrong

The sound 4 will be playable in Storm 3 becuase they are brought back to life asshole.

They’re probably gonna make a Naruto Shippuden: The Final Storm. That would have every character in the Naruto franchise, from ep 1 of the original series to the last episode of Shippuden (minus the fillers though. . . Unless they want to add Gurren.) There’s still Konohamaru, Kurenai, Anko, Sound 3 (which they thought of putting in Generations so they’re most likely looking to put them in a game), Sound fukking 4, all pts characters, partial transformation Gaara, Loopy Lee, Butterfly/Giant kid Choji, ect. They also need to incorperate the giant summonings into the game. Where’s Manda, Gamabunta, and Katsuya ? What about 8 Branches ? Can we transform in full Shukaku with Gaara and Two-Headed Wolf with Kiba ? Where are Sasuke’s snake and hawk summonings ? There’s still a lot to do. And hopefully we get a guest character in either the upcoming game or a future instalment, GIMME DAT CASSHERN ! !

this interview was pointless, its almost as if the interviewer knew that developer would say “No” or “Not now”, So we really only got 2  NEW anwsers , one is QTE and the other is an “new mode”..  so how about you ask question’s that are directly involved in the game rather than the roster an plot, such as clashes, more health, more subs, balancing the game, the online session, the server, the lag compensation, support remaining the same or changing moves.. just simple little mini questions is all I want to hear. I don’t care if its not changing from generatioin’s, I still wanna know.. that’s the point of an interview, even if it feels like rapes of comments instead of hearing his “wish-list” of making an 2 million dollars, No one cares if he makes enough cash to get himself an new apartment. I sware, this interview is almost as bad as kishi’s once an year interviews. which usually either come untrue, hold off another year, or says nothing except their names.. might as well not even had an interview and just wait till the manga reveals it.

Hmmm. I pray that they don’t make a Storm 4! Please let this be the last “numbered title” and allow the rest of the un-added story to be DLC! I don’t care if they make a Generations 2 or not, what I am really concerned about is this being the last numbered storm game and meeting expectations. Well at least this interview was totally pointless, from this interview we know their will be a “new mode.” Coming from a previous interview it was stated that this game’s primary focus will be the war. I’m praying this means the WHOLE WAR and not just part of it because that’d be really messed up if they pulled that type of stunt, making this game stop halfway and saying “Thanks for playing, Please look forward to the other half in the coming years! See you then!”

But on the bright side, if everything goes well we will have a story mode incorporating A LOT of characters and going wayyy past what we thought the game would go up to. Matsuyama states although the ending is not decided yet but all the episodes aired up until the 2013 release will be in…..hmmm So I wonder how this will turn out? Why don’t they just follow the manga instead?

I think there should be one final game called ” Naruto Universe ” meaning all the characters from fillers (important ones anyways) all the characters from first series of naruto till the last episode of shippuden and characters from movies from kid naruto till the last shippuden movie and have allot of selectable customization combos/ougis/jutsus and free roam and clashing and the option to take off the time in online battles keeping the sub meter keeping the combo cancellation epic qte and epic boss battles and many many many hrs of story mode game play.

summoning animals in awakening mode keeping the awaken from start of a battle, for uchihas a extra meter to activate the sharigan, for byakugan a extra meter for them to activate the byakugan, for naruto a extra meter to go into sage mode (this will allow naruto to move much faster, having naruto having 2 awakenings kcm and bijuu mode or it can be separate characters idc really, more than one ougi one in normal state and one in awakening.

for supports being able to cancel them in the middle of them attacking and keep their red bar from getting empty and filling up again when u cancel them, when u r thrown having a support catch u like in s1, CLASHES!!! (for certain chara), mid air ougis for certain chara, mid air jutsu (they already have this but i want more), cancellation jutsus/ougis, cancellation of tuj, cancelling mid air dashing and back dashing and side dashing, include side dashes if s3 dont get it, customization item tools in all modes, no support characters, being able to pick characters in awakening from the chara roster, longer ougis for offline modes (idc if their short online), wall fighting, bring back cancellation jutsu into ougis like in s2.

Longer Ougis for offline would be a good idea but the longer ougis will waste to much space on the disk and considering there’s going to be 100+ characters, it really wouldn’t work. RPG from storm 1 could be a possibility except that the game starts from the kyubi attack and then skips straight to the 4th great ninja war. Running around the battlefield would be fun though. Customize clothing, there’s a huge possibility that that’s not going to happen.

Details on the number of characters will be revealed in the future. The only thing I can say at this present time is that if fans have been waiting for any characters impatiently, I think we will respond to their expectations.

Characters We Have Been Waiting Impatiently For Is, Madara Uchiha. Tobi-Rinnegan. Sage Kabuto,>Edo-Itachi>And The Rest Of The Edo Pepole. My Most Wishes. Can’t Wait =)

On a pure gameplay perspective, the game mechanics seemed a lot more advanced which inevitably led to a smoother form of gameplay, overall storm 2 I would rank higher due to the detailed story mode but my friends and I recently starting playing against each other in storm 1 and can’t stop. Gameplay is smoother,ultimates are far mor dramatic, and awakenings can be inflicted by and perform their own ultimates, not to mention be able to be hit by all combos and grabs, we all agreed how lazy it was that awakenings in storm 2 and generations couldn’t be hit by certain combos, even those that were human sized. And finally the dashing mechanics were far more detailed, so that when two characters chakra dashed they would only bounce off each other if they both developed some footing, in latter games all you had to do was enter in the command and regardless of whether your character actually took a single step, you would both bounce off. This took the point of timing and reflexes after substituting, whether you where adapting after substituting, or were adapting to the other person subbing out the window.

I felt generations fixed a lot of the issues, but would be over the moon if the dashing mechanics were more detailed, and that substitution required much more timing. The sub bar was good, but the mistake of making it so easy to sub (to the point you could randomly press with your eyes closed and it would work) took out a large portion of the tactical potential, a sub bar along with the sub difficulty of storm 1, would deal with the various spamming issues of storm 2, whilst ensuring the tactical advantages the sub bar initially had to offer, but was hindered greatly by its lack of difficulty ( This was essentially because it was guaranteeing when you could substitute regardless of timing, a more difficult system would allow tactical thinking to used more often, and the sub bar limiting said substitution would still provide its initial benefits, that or remove it making it take a 5th of chakra and having it regain slowly when you press the command).

it would be sweet if this game got on the ps vita to. then we could crossplay

if you plan to stisfy the needs of all players and non-players, i say have no support types for one, because it annoyes us that we arnt able to use everyones combos, and it lets some of us down. because lots of us wished to be the sound ninja 4 or even anko and shizune. me i wished i could have been the raikage’s group. and the second thing you need to do for the next game is to have every reanimated corpse that shows his ability a playable character, (ex. Gari, seven swordsman of the mist. ect) and also have us be able to play as zetsu in all forms (white, black, and white and black) third thing you need to do so that people will continue playing after buying is to fix the spamming problem, especialy with the masked man, and tsuchikage so that the true honest players with skill can play not filthy cheating spammers.

I think after they finish the Naruto story in the storm series ( maybe storm 4 ), next gen they should start a new series of games with a new formula. Because in my opinion the storm franchise has run its course. I don’t think there is anything new they can do with the game play that would really excite us, only small changes that improve the old game play there’s no innovation (except if the add tag team that would excite me a lot) . Thats why i think they should start fresh and introduce a new type of game play formula and a whole new experience like the jump from PS2 to XBOX 360 and PS3.

just more ultimates per character, new movesets, new jutsus, playing as awakening LONGER or just a few seconds longer, and SOUND 4, 7 swordsman, and Naruto in his cloak form PLAYABLE CHARACTERS. If they are going to make the statement that this game as been in development for 2.5 years I want to see a difference from Storm Gen. which I understand was a halfway point.

Yeah I agree with you that they should change the attacks for all characters or at least give them more jutsus than the last game and not just copy and paste them from Storm 2+Generations.

I’d like to see them strike a balance with Susano’o. In storm 2 it was god. In generations it was garbage. I’d like to romp with Itachi without the guilt.

Its probably an old demo. On the bright side, the fresh new rasengan affect looks great, and battling the Kyuubi will be a blast.

I’d also like to launchers similar to that of Asura’s Wrath (hold the attack to launch the opponent). Dive kicks sound fun too.

So to anyone still thinking this will be the last game, IT WON’T ! Let me tell you something. The point in the anime we’re at is about chapter 529 and manga wise we are at chapter 593. Now let’s say they’ll go on for 20 more chapters, to 613. Now that’s an 84 chapter gap. Now let’s say Storm 3 comes out in May.

47 Thursdays between now and the end of May (spring)
47 – 94 chapters between now and the end of May (if they decide to do 2 chapters in an episode a week).

And that’s to say they don’t decide to do any fillers and/or episode-less weeks. Actually, take off one week since there’s an episode dedicated to Sakura. So now only 46 Thursdays. Plus if Kishi only does 20 or less more chapters.

Also, to include everything up to that point they’d have to finish the game after watching the episode/something similar to that.

yeah this game is going to be epic but do you believe they are not gonna make a Storm game with whole Naruto and Naruto Shippuden story mode and characters after the end of anime/manga?

Kidomaru, Tayuya, Sakon, Jirobo, Kurenai, Anko (maybe), Shizune, Konohamaru, Dosu, Kin, Zaku, Loopy Lee, Shukaku Gaara, all pts and ts characters, possible guest character, possible filler character, Sannin’s summonings, Baki (another maybe), Hiruko (once more, maybe), even newer modes put into the Storm franchise, anyone else that doesn’t become playable in Storm 3, plus anything new Kishi reveals in the manga beyond Storm 3. All that in one game, The Final Storm.

If they’ve been working  on this game for 2.5 years already and have their release date down, I’m pretty sure that they’re not going to change it just for people that want this to end at the war. 

more air combos,extra ground combo,option to disable the sub bar for offline for the hardcore offline gamers but i like the sub bar, offline and online minigame mode,online spectator mode outside tournament and endless battle, online chat room, and more things but i  hope they listen. the most thing i want it is definitely more air combos.

Its not that I don’t think it will be a boss battle , its that I don’t believe her movesets jutsu and ougi will change from others on saiyan island they have all told e that most likely she will not change and will be exctly the same wiitch saddens me because she , the mizukage and gaara are my favorite characters,

i have to say that the team cancelation, is pretty much useless anyways. that should be kept out of the game. the point of super jutsu, grabs, or even jutsu interference is to make it have give the player a chance to counter the team attack. and even though i agree with the jutu cancelation, i believe that people will take advantage and spam it, and to many air jutsu’s can also create a spamming routine for lots of people.

My anko dont get raped from this looser kabuto  but i know what you mean hope anko is playable and edo madara to lets hope and wait

They said that this game if gonna have more characters than Generations and it had 72.  So at least 80 is to be expected.

I agree with the point 3 ,but other ones are just excuses… 
1. Orochimaru could’ve planted himself where ever he wanted2. She would have lost in every possible scenario there is… Kabuto was strong 
(well at least back then), way stronger than Anko will ever be, stronger than her in every aspect – Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu. 3. Agreed, and sorry for calling trash ,I suppose.4. Oh, you perv. She’s hot that’s why she is your favorite…There’s no other reason for her to become your favorite character from the first time you saw her…P.S. My fav. Is Shikamaru ,but not for the reasons Anko is yours of course…

i liked hashiramas combos(specially his side combo) cause they showcased his strenght AND mokuton style,yea not all tha flashy but more in depth character wich was a good thing for die hard fans

And you point 4 is wrong, because for anko was my favourite naruto and sasuke ion the first time because they have a hard childhood an they are funny so im Perv ?? and Anko because she had a hard childhood and she was a student from orochimaru. She have cool snake jutsus and fire jutsus. And she is childish i love childish people like anko and her character is perfectly. she is loyal,brave she is a good fighter and i like Anko very much nothing to do with Perv bro . Some people like characeters like Anko or shino or whatever but i love Anko and she is my favourite since Naruto and she will always be my favourite character ^-^
