Naruto Storm 3 Officially Announced in North America

We knew it was coming, but it was just a matter of time! At the 2012 San Diego Comic Con, Naruto Storm 3 (Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3) has officially been announced for a North American release of Spring 2013 for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3.

According to Namco Bandai’s official statement, “NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 will feature the most extensive character roster of any game so far in the series, letting fans engage with a huge number of their favorite personalities from the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN universe, be they friend or foe. In story mode, players will be thrown into a series of thrilling adventures set in the village of Konoha, while the game’s electrifying fights will be punctuated with massive scale boss battles, including a fearsome confrontation with the gargantuan Nine-Tails.”

Namco Bandai’s Vice President of Marketing Carlson Choi mentions “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 continues our legacy of faithfully bringing exciting ninja action to home consoles.” He continues on to say “this latest iteration not only improves upon the spectacular fighting mechanics, graphics and online functionality that the series is known for, but will propel players into the heart of the most exciting and epic chapter of the Naruto Shippuden series.”
