One Piece: Pirate Warriors North American Release Date

Namco Bandai Games, today, announced the One Piece: Pirate Warriors North American release date – September 25, 2012! The game will be a digital download title through the PlayStation Network.

Thanks die hard OP fan MD Punk, who will be purchasing the North American and European versions of Pirate Warriors in addition to his Japanese copy.

One Piece PS3, One Piece: Pirate Warriors (or One Piece: Kaizoku Musou in Japanese), is the first One Piece game on the Sony PlayStation 3. It covers One Piece Part 1 as well as some of the story contents of the One Piece timeskip. The game was developed by Omega Force and published by Namco Bandai Games and Tecmo Koei in Japan on March 1, 2012. Prate Warriors is expected to be released as a physical and digital copy in Europe September 21, 2012 and on the PlayStation Network through digital download only in North America on September 25, 2012.

Sony won’t allow jap voice only games released or something stupid like that.
besides, you don’t have to keep all those games/movies on your ps3 like that lolz!

that’s not true, the only reason they aren’t bringing out a retail version in the US is because of the likely amount of sales figures. That’s why Europe is gonna get a retail version. One Piece is much more populair in Europe then in the US.

Why waste money in printing discs and covers while it’s highly likely u wont make any profit from it?

The reason there is no physical release in NA is because there is no publisher willing to take the so called “Risk” of releasing a Japanese audio game… This is the reason why most One piece games are EU/JPN only…

I tried to go on eb games but I couldn’t find it so I tried to look on future shop and they did not have it and even PSN store doesn’t have it so is this what we all get for waiting patiently for the game to come out and today I was happy it came out and this what I get. Oh yea people I heard in youtube that Canada will be getting the game in November and if that’s true then I am going to get little bit mad. I heard some DLC’s will not be released, such as Boa’s Lily Amazon Costume. I want to know if this is true or not. If so EFFFF Namco. If we can’t have any DLC’s for this game, why then release it on the PSN to begin with…. If not? When will we get the dates for them. So much lacking on the information. SMH…. Also, the rumor of “Sony” Not releasing any Jap voice only game here in the U.S. is just stupid. The only people who would not buy this game, are those who are not fans or those who hate “READING”.
