Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie Special (New Footage Included)

On TV Tokyo earlier today, a brand new special program focused on Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie was aired. The program featured many guest stars from the Naruto series, including the voice actors for Naruto, Minato, Kushina, and Hinata. Even CyberConnect2 president Hiroshi Matsumaya was on hand!

Not only that, but cosplayers and Naruto fans from the 2012 Anime Expo and Japan Expo were shown displaying their passion for the series! The thing, however, we are sure you are most interested is in the footage from the actual movie, and the program did not disappoint! Multiple new scenes were shown of Hinata, Minato, Kushina, Ino, Sakura, Sakura’s parents, Akatsuki, Choji, Shikamaru, and more! Words from Masashi Kishimoto (the creator of Naruto) and Asian Kung-Fu Generation (band for the movie’s theme song), are included!

Also known as Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Road to Ninja, Naruto Shippuden Movie 6, among others, Road to Ninja is the 9th movie overall in the Naruto series. It will debut in Japanese theaters July 28, 2012. Naruto’s creator, Masashi Kishimoto will be personally involved with the movie, creating the story and providing character designs. WOW. Matsuyama san being there, i hope it means, we get to see, movie only characters as extra in Strom 3 like Lars was to Storm 2 or at least skins from the movie for the character. GOD! I’ve never seen an anime movie being hyped and advertised this much in my 18 year old life . DAMN! I gotta wait another YEAR b4 i get to watch this. I don’t know if anyone noticed, but in the first video at 5:51 it looks like one of the people on the CC2 crew is doing a sketch of Madara! I don’t know if its Madara but it certainly resembles him

They’re in a genjutsu world that Tobi and the Akatsuki have created. Haha, in the movie Sasuke’s a womaniser who likes Sakura, yes. Hinata still loves Naruto, but she’s really aggressive and a little vulgar. I’m pretty sure in that bit between Sakura and Hinata you mentioned, Hinata’s telling Sakura to stay away from Naruto. In the next frame Naruto’s stepped between them to prevent a fight… Some translations claim Hinata’s saying she’ll kill Sakura, but I’m not 100% sure. In the movie all major personality traits are reversed, although there are 2 Narutos (as well as an alter-ego named Menma) and Sakuras as they are the ones under the affect of the genjutsu. Hope that helps, haha.

People this is a movie. It’s an escape from the reality of Naruto’s world. Anything can happen in a movie that the mangaka cannot slip with the current plot of the true story. I mean, this is the best Naruto movie ever!
