Darui’s combos are extremely fast.

Hanzo looks average. Wheres the poison salamander or at least a good finishing move.

The scans show he has an identical grab to sage naruto, similar to how hokage naruto is just a costume for sage mode naruto. And isn’t that the move of evil naruto in the new movie not the game?

I am guessing Hanzo’s awakening is taking off his respirator and poison starts flowing for an effect and his jutsu ends up being poison gas and summon Ibuse

 That’s just the move the alternate naruto uses in the new movie.

Ah, I never get tired of seeing Sasuke explode at the end of Mifune’s ultimate. 

I really don’t like the new design of the upper hud. Looks more childish and somehow out of place. The old style was fine, though it could always be a little darker in tone with the game focusing on the war and all.

And honestly, it wouldn’t really fit the game if there was a lot of blood flying everywhere upon hits. Imagine Mifune’s ultimate if it was in color and a bloody red explosion at the end? Not nearly as cool and kinda dramatic, don’t you think? Seriously, I don’t think Naruto is known for it’s gory violence, and the game should not be either. If you really think about it, it wouldn’t fit that well here.

His ultimate is an expression of his mental state when he performs the attacks; hence the field and the black and white setting. Fields of grass or bamboo forests are a common theme with Samurai battles in anime and manga.

It seems they are really making the Ultimates look more spectacular. Darui’s ultimate was epic,the big ass lightning tiger lol & then he walked off camera like it was nothing. Mifune’s was good as well just like a true samurai,and thank goodness there is “some” blood,although it still seems like it needs tweaking,of course the game isn’t finished yet. I knew Hanzo’s attacks were gonna be with the scythe,apparently he’s going grim reaper on our asses lol. Cn’t wait to see more of these gameplay videos,looks nice.

are you talking about the crack you saw when ever sasuke fell into the floor on impact, if so then that crack is part of destructible enviroment system, it’s basically when ever an impact hits the enviroment/stages you are playing in the ground either breaks or you see a crack (this system was first introduced in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2).

Message to all fan I know your deeply aware of the gameplay but Naruto storm 3 isn’t gonna play like this. their using storm generation engine because it would take long if they have to start a whole new engine. But cyberconnect2 wanted your suggestion because there trying to make Naruto storm 3 a better game if you already know this then don’t complain about the game when it not finish yet. But if you don’t know what a engine is simply it just what developer use to make game. This is just a beta test of Naruto storm 3 it not done.

They should go back to their Storm 1 roots and fight style. The look is more like 1 then 2 which is nice

Ain’t trying to start nothing, just wanted an answer on the “This game has shitty mechanics” thing. I don’t think it’s shitty, and that’s why I want to know what you’d do to fix it. 

You just can’t solve problems by complaining about stuff, you gotta give a suggestion on how to improve the broken aspects of the problem. That is the only way anything will get fixed.

Sense they obviously have to have them both in I would take out the dash cancel but leave in the subs and increase to 6.  Though in ways this would be worse b/c of spammers…. Maybe if they kept the dash cancel in they should limit how many times you can use it.

Team ultimates would be good yes. Having more than one jutsu etc,but this whole big list thing, I don’t care about. I care about the mechanics /gp being fixed

If I honestly had to have anything fixed besides mechanics it would be to give orochimaru his blade dance move from storm 1.

As for you saying darui and kakashi. I would prefer darui and omoi. Doing your own combination thing is okay.

Hot damn, Darui is beast! His Ultimate is perfect: just the right length, flashy, and filled with attitude.

Mifune looks badass as well. Love his jutsu and ultimate.

It’s nice to see the “style” is coming back to the series. Now I just want to hear about some gameplay changes/fixes.

But if they don’t fix the substitution system where you can sub almost anytime, making it easy and safe to spam/randomly attack, I seriously will think about not getting the game.

Hanzo plays just as he should. He’s the best representation of an actual ninja, from our world not Naruto’s, and he looks like he plays like he should. Also, CC2 said that everyone would have different movesets/abilities in awakening as opposed to just a few characters. That’s part of the reason why they haven’t shown any awakenings; they don’t want to give away too much this early. The game won’t be out for at least 8 months.

So promoting random play is your idea of skill? There has to be some form of predictability in a fighting game, otherwise it’s like a coin toss.

Sub bar is fine. But being able to sub at any moment is inexcusable. It promotes random, reckless play even further and takes away from the skill and patience you should have when dealing with an enemy.

I mean, this IS Naruto right? Deceive, calculate, have patience. Where did all that go?

And I’m not saying Storm 2 was perfect, far from it. But they need to find a balance between being rewarded for being too careful or too aggressive.

And the animation, length, and just overrall badass-ness is perfect. Cool guys don’t look at explosions.

I explained why I “am doubtful” about this game in detail. So if you don’t understand at least my reserves, then I suggest you spruce up on your reading/empathic skills.

They should hide the HUD when grabbed or hit with an Ultimate Jutsu.

Well if the c.dash cancelers want to waste a lot of chakra doing damage then so be it.  I prefer to save my chakra with endless combos.  Oh, and good thing I never mess up the NMC > Uj.  I like being flashy when I fight.

Judging from other CERO B games, they also received a PEGI 16+ as their European rating.

Storm 2 was broken and so was generations. However its still too early to tell if storm 3 will be the same.

I always considered content as game-play mechanics. I also find gameplay more important then every thing else If subs had invincibility frames like in storm 2 the combo cancel thing would be less annoying

IKR. Hanzo seems like a mix of Hidan and a bit of MM. We know he’s considered a great ninja, and that he has plenty of jutsu (heck the only reason he didn’t use one was because Mifune was too fast for him). Yet they gave him a generic paper-bomb-esque jutsu. I’m sure they could have come up with something. Even his combos are dull.

You refuse to accept the games flaws because you yourself, by pure opinion, enjoy it the way it is. Just because you like something doesn’t mean it is good or fair. It’s fact that Generations and its system caters to casual fans, and therefore gives undeserved advantages to those who refuse to learn the game.

tsunade can at least make an earthquake thats how strong she is but the problem is thta maybe cc2 gets lazy

I mean for being the next MAIN game in the line of Storm games it looks like it will play just like Storm 2 except with additions of Gen. I was just expecting something a little bit different to make it a completely different experience from the previous games. 

The ultimate’s look like they have gotten longer.

You’re right about that dude, especially Orochimaru & Tsunade Hey those ultimates sucks nuts, but the First Hokage is at the top of this game for inferior move-set what the hell was CC2 thinking really!!!!!
 

I’ll complain about this until I get an ally, you guys seem to forget or ignore the fact that the First Hokage is supposedly to be Number Shinobi and yet his move-sets/combos are top-notch in suckin nuts, those moves were so dull I ended up thinking there must be some unlockable content somewhere for this fellow…..

No. It’s just that a normal dash consumes less chakra than a combo cancel.

I like how in these ultimate jutsu, and the new ones on generations, the jutsu itself was done much better than the original ones from storm 2. Now if only they replace the old ones with something new. It seems obvious to me that usually a game series maintains the core gameplay mechanics. That being said, there is no reason to complain about the core mechanics. That’s what the Ultimate Ninja Storm series is known for. If you don’t like it then maybe you’re playing the wrong series. Also, I can understand wanting improvement, however some people suggest changing the entire game mechanics. Some stuff I’ve seen in comments is just highly unlikely. Stuff like 4 vs 4 on screen at the same time. That isn’t a bad idea for a game, but not THIS game. Tag team would probably be something more realistic. In Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 1 & 2 there was a team system where you could pick 3 characters and use them in order, you couldn’t change characters manually, but automatically when one was defeated. That would at least give the “team crazy” people some satisfaction. It wouldn’t really have any negative effects on the game at all, so long as this type of battle is optional. The ultimate jutsu appear to be getting a little longer, the graphics “may” be getting better (Honestly, I can’t really tell), there will be more characters (thats kind of a given in the next game of any series), and there will be boss battles. I don’t know everything for sure, but it sure does seem like this will truly be another Storm game. Define “Storm” for yourself, if you like the Storm games then you’ll like this one, if you don’t then you might. Either way, this IS a Storm game, like it or not. Personally, I can’t wait. I like the Ultimate Ninja games and Storm games. It doesn’t matter if the controls don’t change or if they drastically change, I’m still gonna play the game. There are all these comments I’ve seen complaining about the game, I don’t see the big deal, either you like it or you din’t. I’m not saying “don’t want improvement”, but when the final product comes out that’s it. Like it or not. Then again, what don’t people complain about? School, cleaning, the government, tones of voice, grades, other people, money, clothes, making their bed, waking up early, brushing their teeth, the list goes on forever. I think this will be a great game for Storm fans.
