The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise sure is a hot one! Earlier in the year, Namco Bandai revealed over 1 million copies of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations shipped worldwide.
In their latest financial statements, Namco Bandai Games has revealed over 1 million copies of Naruto Generations have been sold worldwide! This includes 440,000 copies sold between April 1, 2012 and June 30, 2012. Based on that data, Saiyan Island infers over 560,000 copies of Naruto Generations were sold in Japan, North America, and Europe between February 23rd (the Japanese release date) and March 31st!
In our opinion, that’s quite impressive, millions of dollars worth of sales! It’s no wonder Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is slated for a Spring 2013 release.
Congratulations to the team at CyberConnect2 and Namco Bandai Games for their success! We hope they can do it again with Storm 3!
Note: Shipped means sent to retailers. Sold means bought by consumers (fans).
