Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden Video Preview

As part of a recent media event, the president of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, gave a preview of the up-coming Naruto game for the Nintendo 3DS! The Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden video preview features gameplay footage of Naruto and Rock Lee fighting various animals and ninja. Special attacks like Rasengan and Primary Lotus are shown along with brief transformations of Naruto going Three Tails and Rock Lee wearing a bikini. Sakura, Sai, and Yamato join in on the action too in the form of support characters, each using it’s respective talents to help fight off the enemies Naruto or Lee are taking on. Towards the end of the video preview are a few seconds of footage from Naruto’s boss battle against Kakashi!

Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden is a side-scrolling action/adventure game for the Nintendo 3DS by Namco Bandai Games and Inti Creates. Confirmed playable characters include Rock Lee and Naruto. The game is set for release in Japan sometime Winter 2012. A release for North America and Europe has not been announced.

    You’re calling out CC2? Huh. It’s funny ’cause they have nothing to do with this game. And you’re speaking on behalf of everyone? If you don’t care, fine, don’t. Lot of people still do.
    Also, if you’re gonna say that your words are spelled wrong on purpose, you should probably say it every time something’s spelled wrong. Otherwise it’s even more ridiculous than it already was. Just sayin’.

    I feel like the 3DS isn’t getting used to its full potential with anime games(minus DB Heroes). The 3DS can easily get a console-quality game on there if Tomy actually tried. I would like to see a new 3D version from the Naruto Clash of Ninja series.

    Yeah I agreed with you but looks like tomy is no more in charge of make naruto games for nintendo at least the CoN series ( GNT in japan) check out their website and you will find they delete all the pages related to naruto… and that sucks so hard cs CoN games are REAL fighting games not like the Storm games wich are more just for naruto fans.

     Unless you got a japanese 3ds, you can’t play the game.  A confirmed release date for NA or europe hasn’t been announced yet and the 3ds is region locked.

     That would be awesome I loved the gameplay! Just imagine fighting hundreds of white zetsus and the edotenseis on a huge battlefield, it would be freaking epic!
