It’s all about characters and not actual gameplay mechanics. Many asked for Masked Man Tobi in generations and he wound up being a hax character who spams. Just because you guys want characters doesn’t mean the game is going to be any better.

This is good news almost confirming every main character allies and edo tensi  in the game, like Gin and Kin brothers. Hanzo didn’t fight long enough to have a fighting style so they made him one. So this will be possible for everyone!  So like Jinchurikki and Nagato (when he and Itachi fight Naruto) and edo tensi kages and obviously Madara

these confirmed characters this early in the now-2013 spring is a big hope boost about this game, think about the thongs that will be confirmed in later on, Maybe a stage creation xD.

I hope ALL 7 of the 7 swordsman of the mist are playable.This isn’t like Pain where all the moves are connected.They are totally different characters with different abilities and they never actually fought side by side.

The characters are what you make them out to be.  Not everyone uses MM to spam.  To some people he is their favorite anime character so they pick him to have fun.

Me personally…the past storm games were awesome to me! ^_^(big shocker!! -_-)…When storm 1 came out,the game was AWESOME!!,then along came storm 2,people thought it was good,but when they saw the differences between nuns1 and nuns2…people missed the old system…then finally came nunsg!! It had fixed the spamming of the substituting,gave us a new way of using the battle system,and was overall a great game…for just this morning I find out here it sold over 1 million copies!!that’s pretty cool in my book! And now here you are sir,saying that Namcobandai and cc2 are gonna mess it up…I for one think they are NOT gonna mess it up,reason being…they showed us the demo(which looks great!…and it’s just the DEMO!),they told us a lot of info like,their will be mid combo awakenings,5 sub bars…and we get 2 jutsu for each awakening!! Idk about u bro but I think this will be epic!!

Yeah I have storm 1,playable awakenings were amazing.Why did they take them out?They make them so overpowered on Storm 2,but I think transformations should be available but the same power as normal characters,

kage naruto is actually his own character in storm 3 due too the fact that in generations sage naruto’s moveset were updated and kage naruto probably wont be SOOO even if he is from storm 2 he would still be a new self standing character …in storm 3 anyhow

no,kage naruto is a different character hence him being unlockable from the beginning with a generations save file,well its my theory we wont know till it releases,just makes more sense to make him his own character if he is an unlockable bonus

I would recommend getting Gen now and getting used to the sub bar and what not so you aren’t garbage at S3 when it comes out lol.  plus I think Gen is a really fun game

nope xd he has jutsu kishi helps the team and kishi knows what hanzo can use and in the fight where hanzo fights sannin and nagato he used alot of jutsu they can use those dont underastimate cc2!

i believe tobi is sasuke from a altenate time. me and sawyer7mage have similar hypothesis towards him being sasuke from a different time but are story are different

here is my story of why i think he’s sasukethe sasuke(TOBI) from this time had a different life since tobi was the cause of itachi,  naruto parents, and the whole uchia clan death. so he actually had it good, but had a darker faith that many people were familiar with. he was stronger then all of konaha 11 and every on who had no clue of his hatred stood up to him and admire him, even his best friend naruto. sasuke didn’t acknowledge any hatred within him but itachi,minato,kakashi,the grand elders, and his father did. although the sasuke we knew didn’t had dreams but this one did had one dream that he desperately wanted to come true, to become hokage. it was time for the election for the next hokage and sasuke and naruto were running for the title. they pick who they wanted to be hokage and it was naruto, but itachi told them that if sasuke know he will try to kill naruto so he suggested that kakashi go on a 3 year mission with sasuke and he did. they told naruto that they wanted him to be hokage and he was truly honor for the offer but decline saying that he doesn’t deserve it sasuke does and they told him why he cant be but he kept declining the fact untill he finally accepted it. A week later naruto was looking at his face on the mountain untill lee came and congratulated  him for his accomplishment and asked him if he needed anything and all naruto wanted was to show his sensei his accomplishment so lee zoomed to kakashi. He then met up with sasuke and kakashi and told him that naruto became hokage and wanted him to be there with him  and sasuke over herd. ill give you part 2 later

Actually, getting Generations is also a good idea if you still wish to play as the PTS characters in the new battle system. They aren’t putting them in Storm 3.

*facepalm* everything they’ve told us so far is superficial, eye candy if you will. I’m interested in the battle mechanics. There is no other fighting game in existence (save for Ultimate Tenkaichi, seems to be a pattern going on here) that gives you so little room for guaranteed damage.

Ex. I grab, he subs attempts grab, I sub repeat, repeat, repeat. You never know when your attacks will connect unless they have no subs. That is NOT how it should be, you should have room to damage a reckless opponent otherwise it’s just an amateur friendly, casual game. And last time I checked playing a guessing game or rolling the dice is known as luck, not skill.

Same moveset though, probably just a costume change from Sage Cloak.

Hokage Naruto is a costume change. If there’s anything we can take from this, it’s that possibly, possibly there’s a very slight chance of having other character(s) from Road to A Ninja.

Gen is a broken game. MM > gg. PTS Tenten > gg. This is assuming you are half way decent of course, cause that’s all you need to win in Gen. 

Well you know that in Road to Ninja he wears at some point the Hokage cloak in the same fashion as in the scan. It´s just a promo costume for the movie. Intresting that Hanzo and Mifune are in the roster. If i remember right, when Storm 2 came out the Anime was right at the start of the 5 Kage Summit Arc and the Story of the Game finished with the Pain arc. So if we knew how far the Anime will be in Spring, we would possibly knew how far the Character Roster goes. I assume they will add the former Kages, Zabza and Haku, the 7 Ninja Swordsman maybe, Ginkaku and Kinkaku and if the Anime goes so far they will add Madara too. Maybe it ends with the final fight being against Madara.

It’s because that’s Naruto from Road to Ninja, he wore that costume with his headband and not the Hokage hat. Generations was created to celebrate the 10 Years of Anime, just like Road to Ninja. So it makes sense.

That IS Road to Ninja Hokage Naruto. In the movie he just wears that costume and his headband without the Hokage hat on his back. Plus Hokage Naruto has Sage Naruto’s Moveset.

On xbox 360 i have all the Naruto games on it and same on play station 3 i have all of them add me i will play legitlly no spamming Jadedfever its the same for both Xbox live and PSN

they really need to update most characters from storm 2, like new uj like they did for kage gaara and improved combos like they did for sage naruto

I would love to see them give Hokage Naruto the KCM Naruto moveset from Generations, and then possibly make his awakening Sage Mode, switching to the SM Moveset with the Rasen-shuriken as his awakening action. Most likely won’t happen though, even though it would be so awesome xD

generation was not post to have boss battle. it was storm 2.5  in which it  was post to be the game between storm 2 and 3. and also give more time for the anime to go far , so storm 3 could have more stuff. and storm 3 is  likely to have boss battles from the kage summit saga

As far as music goes , its fine thoe they should make it so you can choose what song to play during your fight. and title , online, characters select, options screens etc, should be able to change the theme song from all storm game i really liked storm 2 theme.

The team jutsu is a little predictable and generic but lets face the fact , they wont change that

Ps. every character does some type of updraft attack if they are the first to attack in the team ultimate, you should be able to updraft your opponent whenever in the battle

And blood gore and violence this isn't bleach get your head out of your ass, there is barely blood in the manga/anime

i really hope they add characters such as the real madara uchiha 3rd raikage and nagato also gaara with new combos and utimate justu and they put kabuto awakening as sage mode and put jugo proper awakening curse mark 2

You must not be halfway decent.

survival mode just needs a SHUFFLE option to keep the order fresh…so no need to replace it

i hope the have a huge stroy mode and survival and tournament mode so we can have tons of single player time

1. No guaranteed damage. Can substitute at any time, other then while dashing.
2. OP characters that make others obsolete.
3. Dashing is unsafe and punishable. Counter dashing after your opponent hits guard promotes camping.
4. Cancel dashing is glitched, especially in the air. Characters stay in one spot sometimes after the yellow flash.
5. No invincibility frames after substitution. You get caught back in some attacks making certain characters/supports that much more broken.
6. Guard is too weak. 

All these things need to be fixed. And all of you can’t possibly tell me that these things ARE NOT issues. OP characters aside, the game is like flipping a coin because you never know when/how/if you’ll be screwed over by the game and its mechanics.

So there you go everyone, I’ve spelled out EXACTLY why I have little faith in Storm 3. They took one broken system, and replaced it with another that’s more casual friendly. So why should I think they’ll do anything else differently this time?

No it’s not that ppl are afraid to use them online like the 1st and 2nd Hokages they wanted them but I rarely see anyone play as them but I bet they use them a lot offline 

hopefully they will be support besides there will be a Storm 4

as someone who mainly plays single match in naruto storm generations, there are also alot of problems in that area, knowing all pts characters are going to be removed is a relief for the majority of those characters were OP, well namely pts lee neji,kankuro tilt spam and sand shower gaara, im not sure if having a weak guard in the air is good or bad but what i just want to see really fixed is, tsuchi’s jutsu, the frenzy pill removed, masked man’s jutsu fixed, kid kakashi’s jutsu fixed, he has complete invincibility at the startup of his jutsu, if you dash at anyone else as they jutsu, the jutsu is cancelled, yet with kid kakashi you bounce off and get hit, forcing you to play quite defensively, and lastly normal kiba, he can be the worst, mainly because of his dog, counter dashes are important in single, every sub bar really counts, when you block kibas dash and go to counter dash the dog will bump you and kiba can then attack, if you sub his jutsu you can still get hit. other than that nunsg is alotta fun^^
