Namco Bandai: New Naruto Storm 3 Info Coming Soon

Naruto Storm 3 fans, the drought of news and scans may soon be over! Yusuke Sasaki, producer at Namco Bandai Games, recently announced Weekly Shonen Jump 41 (the next issue) will have brand new information on Naruto Storm 3. The magazine is scheduled for a release in Japan on Monday, September 10.

If Saiyan Island has understood correctly, Sasaki continues on to say the reveal through Shonen Jump will be a bit nontraditional and announce “new action”.

Could it mean a new mode or new mechanics? We’re unsure at this point in time, but hope to have the scan whenever it is revealed!

    more air combos please and put back jutsu clashes,wall fighting, long ultimates for offline play atleast,option to remove sub bar offline for the offline play. i’ve already sended my ideas so i wonder what cc2 (cyberrecycled 2 will do)

    More air combos, yes. Jutsu clashes, not needed. Wall fighting, not needed, sucked. Long Ultimates, not needed, even for offline play. Sub bar removal, why?

    Also, wouldn’t that be CR2, not CC2, just cause your joke kinda failed.

    yes thats right and yeah read ssjbardock comment, ITS MY OPINION everyone has one, it maybe a waste of time to you but not to me. online was already broken and people are always going to abuse the system cause they care about winning more than fun, every time i play a match online 99% of people i play against are spammers. i used to care about winning only also but not anymore, if you don’t play for fun then i don’t see whats the point playing a game, an idiot swore at me and he was a spammer, i kicked his ass and he got all upset lol so yeah to me the online mode has ruined the storm series, in generations the cpu is a complete joke even on very hard. the only good thing about offline it had more game modes. and now storm 3 is coming and they decide to take out the PTS characters which is completely stupid, i don’t care if generations was a filler game, theres absolutely no excuse at all to leave them out, so the money grabbers now want more money from us? they can’t wait till next year cause they know right now if they release a game next year they know that it will sell well cause people who can’t help it (like me) will still pick it up.

    well we have our own opinions in the end lol i do agree though that most of them are pointless its just that i see people on youtube missing these things, sub bar removal for offline because i see some offline gamers aren’t happy on youtube but it probably won’t happen though, true that lol my joke did fail there.

    I know a ton of people miss these things, but I personally don’t, at all. It’s cool that they were in the first game and I’m fine if they stay gone, but wouldn’t complain if they decided to put them back in. The sub bar was a very welcome addition, at least for me. But it’s all opinion based. Different strokes, different folks and so forth ^^

    @Tonza Uomala yeah i like the sub bar and now i think they should do something about the jutsu’s, i think if a person uses a jutsu it should take away half their chakra then i think the spamming would be reduced abut online though then people would try to run away lol.

    Make the fighting more competitive, fix the spamming and substitution, make blocking useful, more commands and/or add another attack button! At least when doing a single button combo in Persona 4 arena you actually get to see it through and not have it substituted! Seriously substitution should only work on Jutsu based attacks while combos should be blocked!

    They won’t be making a completely different fighting system to satisfy the offline gamers. They could place an ON and OFF setting before the start of the match. Like in training mode. A player could choose if they want jutsu clashes, or longer ultimates (Just the full version in the collection), permanent awakening, and others. They did it before in training mode, so why not now in offline vs mode?

    Butterfly choji was incredibly sad and lame. Haven’t seen a transformation that bad in ages, was good in the manga though.

    Some new information would be nice.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a reveal of new characters.  I just don’t want those rehashed scans that we have seen over and over again.

    I think the stuff we actually need is DLC, to keep the game alive. those are the kind of things that calls people and makes them stay for a long period of time, for example: Call of Duty. Maybe by the time the game comes out, the anime probably wont be caught up to the manga and to fix that, after two months maybe we could get a new stage, new character customs, characters, modes or even new parts of the story as we go along with the anime. Again, this is just my opinion and just an idea so that if you guys agree, you can go to the website and fight for this suggestion to CC2.

    Not every game is suppose to be like Call of duty,and DLC is not what makes a good game, go back to Naruto games on ps2 they were worth while cause you had to put in effort to get to the next arc of the story line,talking about ps2 naruto games does anyone of us remember having hero mode in ultimate ninja 4 and 5 which covered the whole story from part 1 naruto to shippuden, whats was better is they had cut scenes after each big battle just like those, quick time events in storm 2 ,yet these cut scenes were better I personally liked them because they were longer than any quick time event in storm 2, and they covered the biggest parts of the battle I.E in storm 2 the part when your battling pain in 6 tails mode, they totally skipped the part where Naruto does the 6 tails bijuudama before pain tendo does his planetary devastation,and in Ultimate ninja 5 you had proper free roam even though they cut some parts in off in Leaf village, yet you were able to use your team members and utilize the jutsus for different thing I.E Neji could be used in free roam for looking hiding thugs and also look for Hidden items,it wasn’t the best free roam but if they sticked with that formula for storm 2 I think they could’ve done a better job with the game,there’s so much more Naruto games had back on ps2 without having the need of DLC and the games came packed on a regular dvd, unlike the ps3′s blue ray which hold 4 times the amount of data a normal dvd could.

    They should cause remember Kabuto brought everyone that has been killed back by reanimation jutsu so Pain, Zabuza, Haku, Kimimmaru, Madara, Itachi, Asuma, Deidara, Sasori, Shin, Chiyo should be playable

    I am not sure about Jiraya.

    I’m not saying that they should put guns in the game, i’m just saying that people happen to stick around more when there is DLC in a game. Ultimate ninja is a totally different game so right now is out of the subject, i’m not saying that i don’t like the series because i have all of them but because right now i’m talking about storm 3 and some suggestions.

    well isn’t it obvious its sequel to storm 2 not gen,so they must put those characters as playable, and the Matsuyama already said the game will have the largest roster in the storm series, so what I am thinking is they will carry over the old characters and put news one in.

    In my opinion, all of the characters who have been in the game since “Storm 2″ need upgrades. They atleast need new ultimate jutsus, because frankly the ”newer” characters on Generations have better quality UJ than the older ones. The older characters UJ seem so much more rushed and less over the top. They need to do with them like they did with Minoto, Obito, Young Kakashi, etc.

    really how is it out of the question, isn’t ultimate ninja series the basis of the storm series,and if you want to show off, I own all the ultimate ninja games on Ps2,ps3 and psp from ultimate ninja 1 on ps2 down to storm generations on ps3, on Nintendo game console’s from clash of the ninja 1 on game cube down to clash of the ninja sp on the Wii, then on the ds I own all the Naruto council games,3ds Naruto shippuden the new era 3d. Well if you want more I also have Naruto rise of the ninja and the broken bond as well on the Xbox 360, there wanna show off more.

    And also, another thing, does anyone remeber how in the Naruto games for ps2, you got bonuses and rewards for having previously saved game data from the previous game on your system?

    Why not do that for Storm 3? For the people who have saved game data from Generations on their system, they can gain the Sound 4, Kurenai, Shizune, etc as playable characters. No need for DLC.

    Said this before on a YT comment.

    But what I want them to do is STOP putting characters with different versions like Sasuke and Naruto on different tiles. They should just have 1 Sasuke and 1 Naruto that you can switch out into different ones with L1 or R1 when choosing your character.

    That way they can add more characters and not waste available space from other scattered people who could just be placed on one tile or square.

    so because you can’t gain access to PSN Store that means that everybody has to suffer? Since Treeko brought Ultimate Ninja into the subject, i’m just gonna say that we(the United States) have not gotten Ultimate Ninja 5, just Europe for certain reasons. If you want me to bring the worlds smallest violin here i’ll be happy to do so because trust me, you are not the only one that can’t gain access to, not just a DLC but a whole game. We had to import the game to actually play it. I’m sorry you are not able to access PSN Store and i don’t want to sound mean or start a war but it’s just that I don’t think it’s fair for the majority of the fans to suffer because YOUR country apparently can’t access the PSN Store. I think that DLC would make it easier for cc2 and hey, if they can find a way for EVERYBODY to get the content without having to download it, then i wouldn’t mind at all.

    Also need to bring back clash battles. Like on the PS2 Ultimate Ninja 4, when ever you dashed at each other at the same time, it would commence into a Rock-Paper-Scissors type game with clashes. That would be aloooot of fun to experience.

    How can Europe not access PSN store lol, dude try to get the point of my previous comment, DLC is something which is unfair you pay 59.99 pounds for a game to enjoy what the developer should’ve put on the disc,and if cc2 don’t want to make DLC to ripoff there fans so I don’t see any problem with that,also money isn’t the problem with me,the problem is the greedy developers nowadays I just can’t stand and see my favorite titles become something the developers would feed off, look back the reason why ps2 games are alot better than ps3 is because devs were not greedy back then,and DLC for Naruto will never work, and you know the reasons.

    New Combos: Tsunade, there are all boring, include the slug
    Killerbee: One combo with the oil he spitts, 
    Kakashi: one of his lightnings into one different Element

    New UJ: 
    Choji, complete overwork
    Yamato, i like him, but the Uj ist just random
    Itachi: Susano Uj is boring as hell
    Lee, come on Guys, there is better
    Karin, it is funny, but a new one would be cool, with the parfurme…

    Sakura, Tsunade, Shino, Suigestsu, Hinata, Shikamaru; just a LITTLE more…. length, impact or power…

    I don’t know why Edo Madara is getting so much heat. He’s going to be the same as every other character in the game. Same damage, same Awakening length, same health. He’ll just have a good UJ and jutsu. That’s it.
    I’ll own people that use him with Shikamaru.
