This is really good, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up for an alternate costume for sage mode Naruto, after all in storm 2, during the final battle with pain, you were in sage mode in Narutos normal costume, but you couldn’t play like that it free battle.

thats true, however the difference is that she is a part of a team and that team wouldn’t be complete without her (just like ino), plus she participated in many fights (though she didn’t use any abilities but chakra sensing). kushina was just known for her being the nine tails jinchuuriki and naruto’s mom. she’s not part of a set team and the only fight we see her in is with the nine tails. unlike karin there is no significant need to have her playable because like i said before she’s not part of a team and she didn’t participate many battles, at least that we’ve seen. dont get me wrong im not downing her importance as a character just as a playable character

Kushina probly WONT be playable…the anime and manga have never really showed her doing any battle so I doubt she’ll make the cut.

And if this game is coming out in Spring, i dont think even the manga will be done by then so we may not get a Storm 4 but there will be some other Storm game.

Even when Naruto does end Namco is gunna give naruto games the DBZ treatment.

Im not too bothered about her being playable, but to actually not want her to be is just plain spiteful. You don’t have to play as her if she is, and its not like they have a fixed number of people they can put in, and that she would take someone else’s place, it doesn’t work like that.

I really hope kushina is playable, it would be nice to have family uzumaki team, also we have seen her chain moves, and the fact that when she uses the Kyuubi her hair goes out of control( it looks really cool like a 4 tailed mode or something in the ep). But ether way, playable or not, this game is gonna be EPIC!

 I don’t know if you guys remember this but in S2, the final fight with pain, naruto was in sage mode but wasn’t wearing his sage robe.  So it’s probably just story elements.

yeah i agree though i like the controls and the sub bar has made it more tactical imo but yeah game play needs more work, we need 4 more air combos, an extra ground combo, an extra grab and and extra jutsu for all characters, they need to make the cpu offline harder and tactical cause its easy even on the hardest level, they focus too much on online, storm 1 imo was the best offline storm game, they could add alot more imo if they weren’t lazy, their either lazy or are restricted which i doubt, the things i mentioned must be included, i’ve sent them my ideas but i think everyone needs to do it too. something more needs to be done here in the actual game play, they must make up for removing the awesome storm 1 features somehow and they must not think that online is important and if they do then the whole game will suffer but this one is looking better cause of the boss battles but i hope they add lots more but something tells me this isn’t the last storm game.

Don’t go by the character art yet, they always use art from the last game as a placeholder. That Naruto on the bottom right will probably be the art for the Main/Normal Naruto. And does nobody notice the one pic with Bee assisting?

I hope they don’t mess up NUNS3 like NIS America messed up Bleach Soul Resurreccion with the hack and slash. They should just play it safe and do a storm one type story play, fix chakra, fix/add characters and combos, and make a 1 Vs 3, and a team of 2 players vs a team of 2 players were you call in each other with R1/L1 or RB/LB

Bleach was messed up because they made an all “hack and slash” game but rather than focus on combos, they focused on presentation. Making it look great seemed to be their priority, sadly…

I honestly think a limited chakra bar would be good. I mean you wouldnt be able to use as many jutsu or chakra dashes, but… it would take care of spammers. With 99 count battles you really dont need alot of chakra. Dashes are important but…. But no spammers Banzai! Although if you focus more on offline gameplay like story it might be worth it. I play with friends so for me spam is not a problem.

I see what you’re saying but in storm 1 you did more then just walked around you played games, collected scrolls. They gave you things to do befor the big mission. I just don’t want it to be all hack and slash. I would like it to be like Rise of Ninja and UNS3 story gameplay then a online experience like Clash of ninja but with UNS3 gameplay that’s all I’m saying.

Every fighting game is gonna be cheap. But storm draws from online battles. Without friends the game would be boring even if the AIs were better. You can only play story for so long before getting bored. Online fixation is a priority.

All we know is that she uses chains, but even that is much better than Karin and Ino. I’m glad someone else noticed. Karin NEVER fought in any way shape or form (they gave her perfume as a jutsu PERFUME… !-_-!) and what we know of Ino is that she should never be more than support with her long range mind transfer abilities. We know Kushina uses a chain style jutsu and is a very aggressive person, seems like more than enough if they made those other 2

I completely agree with you. I only need the most essential characters in storm 3. I think its okay to have a few that arent as special like Ino. CC2 can make any character they want. But if they make another failure like masked man……

i dont get people who say that we should be patience for news when we got 5 same scans in a row and had a full week with no news once and they say its too early to get news cause the game is coming out in 5 to 8 months we havent got a confirmed character for a long while

and the roster is going to be extended so theres gonna be 73 or more characters and theres 5 to 8 months 4 release 73 divided by 8= around 8 characters for each month we only release about 10 characters
