Official Image of Goku’s Costume in Naruto Storm 3, Jutsu Clashes, WiiU

Thanks to Saiyan Island’s THE BASEDGOD/TheGameTagerZ who was on hand at the 2012 New York Comic Con, we now have an official image of Naruto in his Dragon Ball Z Goku gear (in the video below)! It looks pretty cool, featuring Goku’s traditional orange and blue GI with the power pole! It’s unclear if this version of Naruto will have a different moveset, but we will be sure to let you know if he does!

Additionally in the video below is a new NYCC panel. Matsuyama-san is asked about jutsu clashes and he mentions they were removed after Storm 1 because of online. HOWEVER, he continues to say if we, the fans do want it, CC2 will think about adding it back in! Not only that, but once the Nintendo WiiU is out and fans are interested, CC2 will have a discussion about bringing Naruto to the console!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in Japan, North America, and Europe sometime Spring 2013. It will begin with the incident with the Nine Tailed Fox from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering latest episode of Naruto Shippuden before the game’s release.

    Jutsu clashes? I really don’t want it in if it interferes with online play, if it’s a offline only thing then I guess it’s okay. I don’t really care. Storm 3 isn’t gonna be as good anyways with the cut story unless they follow the manga. But at the rate the anime is going and the filler arc coming, It might not even get to the Jinchuuriki vs Naruto & Bee.

     Its just for fun and entertainment, Naruto was inspired by DBZ so it all fits. Saying a playable Naruto Goku Outfit is dumb, a fun DLC, is literally dumb.

    the whole entire thing is about naruto, of course there will be other DLC but for now the logical thing to do is show only basic stuff and to show what naruto will have because its all about him. when it gets closer to release im sure youl see stuff for other characters.

    WOW! The new awakening system is just 20% of the upgrades in the system. With the new team jutsu or team attack, that would be 40%. We sill have 3 more upgraded system to watch out for! Nice CC2! Can’t wait. :) )

    It’s customary to give a manual disconnection a loss, and to the other player a win. THIS is what they should do, not take away features that CAN be used strategically. Anti-Spam, if you’re good at tapping, is one such option.

    I dont understand how clashing is unbalanced online? Gears of war has chainsaw clashing for goodness sake. Dragonball games have beam clashes. The people who don’t want them are boring and are so trash at tapping a measly button. Justu Clashes all the way. Crap players go play storm 2 and generations. You people are acting like clashes are going to happen all the time, there once in a while occasions. If you lose you lose, seriously. Its a video game. I want clashes because i they look cool and are fun, not like most of you amatures that really badly want to win and can’t spam a button to safe their life.

    im with u bro! jutsu clashes make the fight more epic! It should exist. ok that some people is afraid to play online with clashes.. is the same thing.. u use jutsu, if the oponent use it too u have to be faster to win, u can win. storm 2 and generations, when jutsu like rasengan or raikiri clash, there are that kind of weak shinra tensei with the same sound efect that pain’s shinra tensei in the game, and that dont make any sense..

    You guys must understand that in naruto u can spam a move over and over, but in dragonball z you’d have to charge ki first before using a move. PLUS SPAMERS IN NARUTO WOULD JUST SPAM UNTIL YOU CLASH WITH THEM WHICH WONT GET YOU ANYWHERE IN THE FIGHT, so tough luck for jutsu clashes. They should leave them out, but if they put it in then fix the spamming problem these naruto noobs have :D

    They contradict themselves when they say long ultimate jutsus and jutsus clashes will unbalance online mode. As u mention, DBZ, Gears of War and many others included features which are mostly the same as having a long ultimate jutsu or clashing powers.

    Sad thing about clashes is that I think I could them only three times. It’s really weird when the two characters charge their clash at the same time.

    You act as if jutsu clashes happen all the time and will determine the outcome of every single match.  I don’t see how clashing interferes with anybody’s strategy, unless you’re a hardcore spammer, which does get the job done but is just not my style

    i wouldn’t say that it would interfere with my strategy, i just think that it would be an annoying feature to have popping all the time, and it would distract from the actual strategic gameplay. also, with jutsu clashes in the game, a hardcore spammer with a turbo controller would be nearly impossible to beat.

    Once again, I don’t believe that it will pop up all the time, just once or twice in a battle, maybe three times max.  A previous poster mentioned the beam clashes in DBZ, as well as the rush struggle, and the chainsaw clashes in Gears of War.  Those aren’t limited to just offline mode.  I’m not really familliar with a turbo controller but if someone buys one just for the aspect of winning in this game or any other game, then they just plain have no life.  But once again, i don’t believe jutsu clashes will outcome every single game.

    I think u can get it after finishing the story mode or find it in the story mode. Just like storm 2 u get a dlc for Minato with the collector’s edition but u get him after finishing the game in the end anyway or like u get the Naruto hokage costume by praying at mount muko (grandma’s house).  If not that i think u’ll get it when they launch the legit (bigger) dlc. (Which most likely it will be free when the anime reaches that far.)

    Yeah I’d really like that but to mock fans into giving Naruto an outfit of Goku’s is a real slap in the face lol.. But we can only hope they do that because.. In Storm 2 and Generations.. there was ZERO DLC so.. I hope the DLC is actual good DLC.. lol

    Thank you for your reaction. I think you are right. It can’t be pre-order only. How will you be able to play online with someone else if he doesn’t have the outfit. So I too think we will all have the costume after finishing storymode.

    We dont want Storm in Wii U we want Clash of ninja!! with the WiiU power the graphics would never been a problem anymore, so clash of ninja of ninja is the best game… I know some of the storm fans would disagree but it has a better gameplay it is a real fighter!

    At Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes series on PSP, Kakashi can copy opponents jutsus and fighting style for a time period (about 1 or 2 minutes)
