Naruto Storm 3: New Team Attack System Video

Yesterday on Saiyan Island we mentioned the team attack system has been updated. Well, Saiyan Island’s THE BASEDGOD / TheGameTagerZ has uploaded a new video to show it in action! From Saiyan Island’s understanding, hold the Circle button on PS3 to get ready and charge and then press the L1 or R1 to call out a support character for attack! As mentioned in the video, it’s like a mini team special!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in Japan, North America, and Europe sometime Spring 2013. It will begin with the incident with the Nine Tailed Fox from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering latest episode of Naruto Shippuden before the game’s release.

    With Ultimate Jutsu’s, I wonder would it be a good idea to NOT have the screen freeze? Only when doing a team ultimate would it freeze for a moment. It might catch alot of people off guard becuse everyone would be use to it freezing so we could react but at the same time it would be fun because it would put you on edge…

    it is awesome but that little damage to waste your supports i dont think its worth using enless you wanna just make some cool combos which i will do muahahaha with my sexy EMS Sasuke if he is in the game

    It’s nice to use when the opponent doesn’t have subs left. The aerial part and the rebound can be used in a smart way to make incredible combos. Now, I wonder if you can do it with one support only, and if it follows the opponent who just subbed.

    The Team Ultimate is an extremely powerful attack which can balance the match at any time. I think this freeze is necessary, because there are only 2 HP bars, unlike Storm 1. Think about laggers online…

     Agreed. I like that they’re trying things out, ya know? Trying to add a little more depth to the game without breaking whats already fun. This looks really cool, but I can’t wait to try it out myself to really understand how practical it is in an actual battle.

    if they put in naruto goku costume in the game for dlc there’s no telling what they going to be putting in for dlc. i’m hoping for menma, lars, and ichigo

    i really hope cc2 plans to make a more useful tool in their later game….most of the tools are basically the same with each having different damage with the exception of the paralyse kunai…. i was wondering if they would have a smoke bomb as a tool,you have 1 which lets you throw to the opponent and another that just trigger it on yourself.,both will affect your opponents visibility of the latter…yeah ,you might say that the tool will seem useless as most of the the jutsu we used are written below so….heres the twist,those who are affected by the smoke bomb will not see what jutsu or support your opponent are using….in addition even when your opponent uses an ultimate jutsu the screen will not freeze…the sound effect from the jutsu are the only thing that lets you know what opponent is doing…..

    CC2 confirmed in a video that they’ve taken out clashes for storm 3 because of online but they also said that if the fans keep asking for it back, then they’ll think about it so just keep asking bro! :)

    P.S. Make sure you actually post on their official storm 3 forum and twitter because saying it on saiyan island will get you nowhere

    I dont see whats so great about clashes but if they do add it they should increase a life gauge so like have 3 bars instead of 2 so the battles can be longer and i dont mean like in storm 1 how it has 4 or 3 bars but attacks gives a lot of damage. Storm 1 was probably the worst Naruto game played.
