Naruto Storm 3 Demo Footage from NYCC (New Menus, Stage)

From the 2012 New York Comic Con (NYCC) comes brand new footage of Naruto Storm 3! It’s Hanzo vs Mifune, but if you note in the first few second, there are other characters playable in this iteration of the demo too – Naruto, Minato, Darui, and Sasuke! It’s likely this character menu style won’t be the final version, but the new look is an interesting one! Also, the stage, by the looks of it, it’s the Samurai Bridge, but the bottom part of it where Sasuke and Naruto clash in the anime/manga!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in Japan, North America, and Europe sometime Spring 2013. It will begin with the incident with the Nine Tailed Fox from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering latest episode of Naruto Shippuden before the game’s release.

    When Hanzo awakened he had 2 ninjutsus or if you hold circle/B longer it becomes ibuses’ poison fog and short press is explosive circle. I hope all characters that awaken have new move sets or a minor jutsu change i’m sick of playing as my fave character kakashi and when he awakens he is the same but with stronger hits.

    If awakening should change then it should be the dark screen thing and the chakra dash should be reduced down i hate trying to recover vs a 4 tails its just suffer and the nj hits also should be reduced

    Sound quality is low. So is the actual video quality. Gameplay is excellent though.

    I like the new character menu, and also the background, actually i’ve always loved the storm series’ background. Anyways what is bugging me is the ‘HEALTH BAR’ did they (CC2) adjust it to keep the fluidity of the game nice and quick just for this demo, or is this going how the final version of the game going to be as well.

    some neo guy reported it but even he isn’t sure. I think what he saw was naruto’s samurai costume and mistook for goku’s outfit

    Where is awakening from the begining on analog stick not charging chakra, and where is awakening for 1 minute?! I hope this is the old gameplay, because if not then CyberConnect2 make us idiots, Nothing new only new characters and new attack in awakening state.

     Saw the Athor hanzoz ultimate Video bro??? They Show the Regular Awakening animation Awakening and the New Analog Stick!! You Can Awakening aní time but when your Health bar Drops down to the orange line like inStorm2 and generation you can Awaken in regular state you hold down triangle and then a cool animation and speech comes in then your in awakend state!

    I think it looks awful. I hope they keep the artwork style from the original games in my OPINION there much better. This just looks bad.

    i dont know if you notice but when danzo whent in his ultimate he had the secret factors  this could mean secret factors are in free battle mode.

    another point i wanna say is the roster the thing looks horrible it better not look like that or look close to that because i might not gonna play free battle that much no more

    I doubt any of the other characters will have the same moveset. They might have the same jutsu now, but I believe they kept them the same for this demo so they wouldn’t have to reveal anything new about the support character’s jutsus.

    People who are bitching about the character screen, IT’S A DEMO. It won’t be the same in the game. If you remember back to the Generations demo, they had 5 large squares: Sasuke, Naruto, Raikage, Mizukage, and Tsuchikage. So basically, CALM YO TITS.

    This Character Selection screen leaves so many possibilties for new gameplay features. Like starting off in Awakening, Diffrent Costumes, Tag Team etc..

    I LOVE this style of select screen,where I can view the character models instead of just some character portrait or drawing. I hope they keep this on a massive scale with the full roster for the finished project!

    Wait… I thought you can awaken at any time and that it was now only once per fight. So why still include the option to awaken after a certain amount of HP is depleted using chakra charge?
