Dragon Ball Z 2013 Movie to Have Pilaf, Mai, Shu?Posted on November 7, 2012 at 5:33 PM
In Tokyo, Japan yesterday, the 29th Prize Fair took place with various companies showing off their goods. One of those was toy company Bandai, who announced they will have 7 cm tall figures featuring characters from the Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie as part of their World Collectable Figure series! There will be figures of the obvious Goku and Vegeta, who we all know will be in the movie, but also of six other characters. Three of them are unknown at this time, while the other three seem to be Emperor Pilaf and his minions Mai and Shu!
We’re not sure how these three will fit into the movie, but if the image of figures below is any indication, it will at least be a brief cameo, if not anything else!
The Dragon Ball Z 2013 movie will be the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. It will take place between Dragon Ball manga chapters 517 and 518, in the 10 year timeskip after Goku defeats Buu, before before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Akira Toriyama along with Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games are all involved. The latest Dragon Ball Z movie is set to release in Japanese theaters March 30, 2013. There is no word on a North American or European release date at this time.
