Namco Bandai Games Japan has today released the first trailer and V-Jump has released the second scan for Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission!
The 3DS card battle game, will be a port of the 2010 Dragon Ball Heroes at Japanese arcades with additional features, including exclusive in-game animation and a new story mode that covers the Saiyan Saga of Dragon Ball Z all the way up Dragon Ball GT! In Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission, players assemble a deck of five cards, executing their battle strategy on the the bottom 3DS screen as the battle takes place on the top screen. The game will feature over 100 characters spanning more than 800 digital cards from the Dragon Ball Heroes Series 1 to Galaxy Mission 4. Players will be able to take on friends wirelessly and if you check out the first Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission trailer below, you may see a little teaser tie-in with the 2013 DBZ movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission is scheduled to hit Japanese retailers on February 28, 2013 for 5800 yen (around $70 USD). The first batch of games released will also come with a physical bonus card set for use at the arcade version of Dragon Ball Heroes, a hero avatar card, 100-save trial hero license card for the arcade version of the game, and first look at the Future Gohan and Future Trunks cards. There is no word on a North American or European release at this time.
