One Piece Episode of Luffy: The Hand Island Adventure

On December 15, 2012 at 9PM, FujiTV will air a special known as One Piece Episode of Luffy: The Hand Island Adventure. The release date for this special coincides with the premiere of One Piece Film Z. It’s actually a tie-in with the movie, unsurprisingly focusing on the hero of the series, Luffy! As with Film Z, the original creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, is supervising with its new story and costume designs.

One Piece Episode of Luffy: The Hand Island Adventure’s story sets just before the events of One Piece Film Z in a place known as Cannon Town. There, a major incident occurs with a parent and a child who work as craftspeople, a Marine base commodore, and Red Haired Shanks. Fans will see former Chief Petty Officer Coby as a Captain and former and Chief Petty Officer Helmeppo as a Lieutenant in the Marines.

The special will also feature a flashback to Luffy’s past (contents of One Piece chapter 1), but with new animation. Check out three One Piece Episode of Luffy: The Hand Island Adventure trailers below!

    Oh my God! In the first video, the crew looks amazing with their new outfits, i like Brook, Sanji, Zoro, Nami, Robin, Usopp, Luffy, though i can’t see Chopper. Where’s FRANKY!!!
