The History of Ultimate Ninja, Naruto Storm 3 Scans

Six pages worth of scans, which we will collectively call scan 14, have been revealed thanks to Saiyan Island’s very own Tokan! These scans give a brief overview on Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and cover some of the history of CyberConnect2 and the Ultimate Ninja series. Check them out below!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in Japan, North America, and Europe sometime Spring 2013. It will begin with the incident with the Nine Tailed Fox from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering latest episode of Naruto Shippuden before the game’s release.

    Hey guys im confused about something. you know the scan which showed naruto kicking yamato out of the stage (two small images in one of the scans), is that ring-out or stage transitions? and if its ring-out, is there going to be stage transitions? Thank you!

    That’s ring out. That stage was shown in Paris (Naruto VS Narutogoku), and fans said that ring-out=K.O (except if you have a support to help), so I guess it’s the same with Yamato. But CC2 said in the last interview that it was still in working progress, so some things can be changed. Anyway, there will be stage damage, they confirmed it : you can break trees and stuff :-)

    I think that this will be the best naruto game. Even though we got some bad news so far of it, I believe CC2 will right their wrongs just wait. Theirs 4 more months left and I think to finish it off they should add Character creation, more health bars option, and tag-team mode. Also just think about it, the tag-team mode could have a double jutsu or “team attack” :O Ex. Killer Bee and Raikage A doing a double lariet to the oppenent and blood spews up in the air. Thats whats up! ;)

    They could take ideas from UN 2 there. About the chakra bar level with using ultimates. That would give each character 3 ultimates, a small quick on bar 1 , medium on 2 and large on 3

     Ahh thanks for clearing things out. Imo i’d rather prefer stage transitions than ringout. It’d look more exciting and dynamic if they made it as naruto kicking yamato off the stage and into another area of the Hidden leaf. Ring-out would happen alot because at the end of combos and jutsus, the players get knocked back far and it wouldn’t sound like a fun way to end a match. I’m happy that theres stage damage though lool.

    Remember in UN series how you could jump to different platforms and parts of the level? I think it would be a really good addition to storm series along with the stage damage.

    there not filler he meant the filler arc coming up those characters are in the manga plus you fight them I dont think cc2 will only let u fight them and not play as them that be stupid so dont worry

    I hope that they put at least some of the fillers in there. like the ones of naruto’s boat ride. and add some of the characters he fought along the way. like that one kunoichi with the fiance deal that Jiraiah had Naruto forced into

    You might not know but they had an interview and they said that they wont have teams. so no tag teams. and character creation though souds nice, shouldn’t feature in this game. For more  fan resons of course maby if they created an actualy online naruto game that might be good, but for this game no

    im really hating this ultimate decision idea. i want the story to go as it is in the show, and i dont want to be regretting taking one path and missing out of the epicness of the other. for example the nine tails boss fight where you can get bees help or go solo, just let the story run how its supposed to be, dont make us mess it up and miss out… the only option to see all different paths is to play the story over and over again.

    How are Gari, Pakura and The Seven Shinobi Swordsmen Of The Mist filler characters? They might not add in Gari and Pakura, but the Swordsmen are already confirmed to be featured in the game, but we don´t know yet if they´re only for the “hack and slash” moder or actually playable as sepereate characters. Also i think the support only characters will be removed and some of them will be added as full characters as such like the bodyguards of the 5 Kage. We also have to add in all the Edo Tensei characters like, Deidara, (maybe not) Sasori, Kakuzu, Itachi, Nagato, Asuma, Kimimaro (he is already full so why not), Chiyo (same as Kimi), the 4 former Kage and also Tobi with the Sharinnegan and the Gedo Mazo. !!!!!!!!!PLUS MADARA THE BOSS UCHIHA AS FINAL BOSS!!!!!!!

    Jutsu clashes could be implemented. Like in Ultimate Ninja 5, when you and your opponent dash at each other and make contact, you both go into a mode where you have to choose Rock, Paper, or Scissors to win. This was also in Budokai 3 with the Dragon Rush. Jutsu clashes could be like that I know it’s not much of a good idea. Its just a thought I had one day. Jutsu clashes aren’t really a bid deal either.

    C’mon. We need something new and different. So far the only really exciting things we have found out about the game is that it will feature some hack and slash type gameplay and that darui mifune and hanzo are playable. We need some mind blowing announcement that actually makes us want the game…..
