Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods HQ Poster, Staff List Update

Toei Animation has today released a high quality (HQ) version of the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods poster! In addition, they’ve released an updated staff list! Three of the additions are actually from either One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, or both – Teppei Horita (color design, color setting for One Piece), Nao Ota (special effects for Dragon Ball Z, One Piece), Kazumi Fujioka (Production Manager for Dragon Ball Z, One Piece). The fourth staff addition, Norihito Sumitomo, is a newcomer to the Dragon Ball Z scene, working on Toei Animation’s 2009 movie, Asura. Below is a list of the revealed Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods staff thus far.

In addition to the movie exclusive characters, some of the the voice actors for the characters from the DBZ series have been revealed. It seems the voice actors will be reprising their roles from Dragon Ball Kai:

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will be the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. It will take place between Dragon Ball manga chapters 517 and 518, in the 10 year timeskip after Goku defeats Buu, before before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Akira Toriyama along with Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games are all involved. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is set to release in Japanese theaters March 30, 2013. There is no word on a North American or European release date at this time for either movie.
