Dragonball Z wins every match, no competition. Although this is the first time I’ve heard of Toriko. But then again, I  hate oddly coloured “natural” hair.

It’s pretty obvious other series will be included, from past and present. Though to announce it with arguably their 3 best series makes sense. Actually hoping Korosensei from Assassination Classroom is in this, he would be a lot of fun to play as.

Unfortunately with the amount of series likely to be included this will probably remain a Japan exclusive game. Same as the two Jump Superstar games and that D.O.N game.

Toriko isn’t as bad a manga as plenty people think…his fighting potential is on level with some of the top manga characters. On another note I can’t imagine them making this without including Naruto and Ichigo to add to attract fan buyers

It would make sense if they did a remake of Jump Ultimate Stars, since this in commemoration of Jump’s 45th anniversary. I don’t see a problem with them including Toriko, since the series is getting very popular in Japan, including a couple of crossovers it did with One Piece.

I’m surprised some people are suggesting InuYasha (not that there’s anything wrong with that franchise, I’m a fan too) but a simple google search will tell you it’s NOT a shonen jump property (Shueisha), it’s owned by Shogakukan (a different company).

Dragon Ball Z and One Piece were expected. Toriko is a surprise but Shonen Jump is pushing it really hard to replace Bleach (already selling more manga volumes IIRC). It’s actually not as bad as some assume it is.

I like Naruto and Bleach but I’m not going to complain about it if they’re not included. Though if more franchises are added to this game I’m kind of hoping for some Hunter x Hunter and Beelzebub characters.

 Uh, what do you mean “fanmade”? The OP/DBZ and OP/Toriko crossovers were one-shot specials written and illustrated by the mangaka of those series.

Yugioh has been in the previous Shonen Jump game called Jump Ultimate Stars for the Nintendo DS and it worked out pretty well so I don’t see why they wouldn’t bring it back in this game.

The previous ultimate jump game included Yu Yu Hakusho characters, 3 in fact more then most other franchises included. It is also still one of the most popular Shonen series in Japan, constantly ranking in the top 15. So I’d say yes, there are other franchises with better chances (including HxH) but it has as good a chance as some others as well.

Lol, a game called “Ultimate Jump” won’t have only 3 franchises, or it wouldn’t use the same franchise name as the previous 2 “Jump” games. I can almost guarantee you that. There is not even information on what console it will be for. This is just an early teaser promotion, and it includes these 3 because they’ve had one shot manga crossovers.

Now I will say this, IF it’s only these 3 series I’d be okay with it and if they were to localize it to the west FUNImation has the dubbing rights to all three of them so dubbing and licensing it over wouldn’t be too much of a hassle……I think.

Okay, let’s get this straight: I’m all about content (as anyone who knows me would know). So regardless of whether or not I am a fan of that particular manga, I hope it includes as many franchises as possible. And so should everyone else. Bickering about who “shouldn’t” be included is ridiculous. You don’t like that franchise, don’t use those characters.

In addition, should the franchises I’m not fond of or know little about be included and their characters/plots are represented well and close to their respective properties, I might just get myself into 1 or 2 of those franchises as a real fan. That, to me, is a huge plus.

I’m suprised that they didn’t put in naruto or bleach though or maybe even a couple of characters off of the anime beelzebub, oga tatsumi & Toujo

Yeah i agree it should be multi platform, preferably ps3 and wii U instead of 3ds and vita. Heck this game on all four would be great for all fans. I know this is a silly reason but i have hope this could be on either ps3 or vita along with the 3ds/Wii U or both. I say this because it looks like on the scan there is a competition and one of the prizes is a sony product and to me it would be strange to give away a sony product as a prize if the game was not going to be on a sony platform, but then again i could be completely wrong and that is to do with something else. yeah its a silly assumption but only hope i can get from this for now lol.

Yeah I would say something like that JK I love TeamFourStar BTW for anybody who doesn’t know check out Dragon Ball Absalon which is a new fanmade sequel to DBGT and it’s a great serious. Also, for those who don’t know MasakoX(The guy that plays as Goku in TFS DBZ Abridged) is the voice of Goku in DB Absalon.

U know im a huge anime fan love manga and everythng yet ps3 always gets this and that. please if we cant get the same game because of blue-ray/HD problems with graphics at least make a version just for the xbox its not like there going to lose money. im sure theres millions of people who would buy it on xbox as well as ps3. Anime games aren’t released on Xbox because it isn’t popular in Japan at all, not because it’s weaker. If you really want anime games sell your Xbox and buy a PS3 or Vita.
