Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods Trailer 2 has been released in higher quality! Not 720p or 1080p, but just higher quality then last weeks posting. It has a bit more content, check it out!

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. It will take place between Dragon Ball manga chapters 517 and 518, in the 10 year timeskip after Goku defeats Buu, but before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Akira Toriyama along with Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games are all involved. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is set to release in Japanese theaters March 30, 2013. There is no word on a North American or European release date at this time for either movie.

    if this takes place 10 years after defeating buu then why does goten and trunks still kids??? P.S. Goku sounds gay, good thing there is english version.

    It actually takes place DURING the 10 year time gap (between the defeat of Buu and the 28th WMAT) XP

    Because a lot of the things that Akira Toriyama did in DBZ were metaphors. The reason why Goku sounds like a kid in the Japanese version is because in his mind, Goku will forever be a kid on the inside so he kept the same voice actor, Masako Nozawa, from the beginning of Dragon Ball, to the end of Dragon Ball Z to show that Goku will forever be a kid. Although I do prefer Sean Schemmel(Funimation/Current English VA for Goku) over Masako, she is the voice that Akira Toriyama intended for Goku to have.

    Wait a minute… Gohan no longer has Super Saiyan hair, right? He underwent that Mystique transformation on the Land of the Kais?

    You will just have to wait and see until the Movie comes out. I actually don’t mind if Gohan dosen’t have his Mystic transformation because he always looks amazing in his Super Saiyan form. He does look badass in his Mystic form but he still looks badass in his SSJ form so i don’t mind. The Mystic form just sky rockets Gohan’s power to amazing heights.

     yea, Gohan did LOSE his super saiyan power  but in his mystic form after the buu saga his power got weakend witch gave him his super saiyan powers back
