Hooooooooooly christmas present I think they might go with an original plotline, because the Anime won´t be near that battle at all in March. Well, i have a speculation that sounds very unlikely: The Chikara episodes are clearly not animated by the stock staff so maybe the canon episodes are already in production and being animated so that they can air 2 episodes per week after the Special Arc.

They are indeed following the anime. But just with it’s phasing. In terms of story line, CC2 will follow the manga with an added touch of their style.

That means that they won’t go far away from the anime that they would spoil the viewers.

They would be true to the manga story line and will only use cannon material. Meaning no filler characters.

So for the others who are insisting that CC2 would show Madara, just stop it. They won’t reveal him unless the anime is close to revealing him. So wait until the past kage fight in the anime for CC2 to reveal him.

I’m actually positive about it. The story mode will be epic. Madara, the past kages and naruto vs itachi are pretty much confirmed at this stage. Especially for the manga readers. We’ll just have to wait for the special announcement of CC2. Like what they did with KCM naruto. Maybe this time his full version will be announced before the anime reveals it.

If the anime doesn’t catch up, then CC2 will be forced to reveal them early or you will only find out after playing the actual game. CC2 won’t promote like crazy and announce everything knowing that there are anime viewers only.

Plus, the actual game or at least the layout is already done until the final boss battle. It’s not like on jan2013 they suddenly decide to add another boss battle. The anime doesn’t affect the entirety of the game. The only thing it does affect is hindering the announcement of CC2 about the game.

Chikara isn’t bad though. I kinda like that filler. It’s plot and animation is more movie like than an actual series.

What about having a 1 armed Raikage? I mean put his white coat on to keep it pg well never mind the game has a higher rating I thing pegi16. Nd why hasn’t anyone asked for additional health bars. What about fixing the cancels a bit I mean you rarely see full combos now with the jump rush fighters. Lets not forget about Gaara having his fathers gold sand. hope they have their v2 & partial transformations as optional awakenings too!

 They’re not going to reveal every fight. That one won’t contain any new character or costume so there’s no need for it to be in the scans.

Now if they put Nagato and Madara in everything will be perfect.

Does that mean Gara will have two awakenings – one turning into shukaku and the second one from storm gen? I mean the only time he turns into shukaku is during part 1, and he loses him in the begining of part 2 so it would be odd to give him a shukaku only awakening.

I really hope this game goes as far as the manga or close to it, everyone mostly reads the manga so yeah. This scan gives me hope.

I hope they cover the Sasuke and Itachi tag team… I’m hoping to use Izanami. I’m also hoping they allow customization like the first storm game. I played that the other day. IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER than NUNSG. I could choose which attack i wanna use from like 3 different ones and I could start a battle awakened with certain characters and STAY awakened for a challenge. I hope they include this customization of the primary ninjutsu and ultimate jutsu. They do that and this game will be the best.

 They’re alright but in my opinion they still aren’t as good as Storm 1′s Ultimate Jutsus which still in my opinion have the best UJs in the franchise and even those UJs don’t come even close to being as good as the UJs from the original Ultimate Ninja franchise back on PS2. I believe that CC2 should bring back the minigame element where gamers had a chance of counter ultimate jutsus because now they’re just way too easy to do and without there being any way to counter them, matches end just WAY too fast.

In regards to what you said, I personally think that partial transformations will be included in combos, tilts and grabs like you said however I believe that the ultimate’s will be of the jinchuuruki in their version 2 forms with their full beast form as their awakening much like killer in generations as I recall in the manga each of them showed a jutsu/attack in their version 2 forms for example the 3-tails used that coral smash attack, which is a physical move much like killer bee’s lariat.

Huh? I’ve never had an issue with a “giant awakening spammer.” First of all, they have only 4 moves: kunai, jutsu, tilt and 1 combo (grab too I guess).

2, what are you talking about? Giant awakenings substitute IN FRONT of the opponent, so they get caught right back into the combo already in progress. UNLESS, you have a quick trigger finger and are able to c.dash right after substituting.

But then there is supports that can help them. Giant awakenings are not an issue, Idk who you play, but play me and I’ll destroy susano’o or whoever else.

CC2 meant that there would be no filler characters when they said they would follow the manga, the storyline is obviously following the anime. so yeah believe CC2 cause so far they havnt said anything false about the game. people just assume, and think they know what there talking about then get butthurt over it when they find out that they were wrong.

I see where you are coming from. CC2 did this KCM in generations even though they didn’t cover that in the story. I think people should be hopeful so there might be Madara, War Tobi, and Edo characters.

Like I said they appear in the anime after Naruto and Bee get past Raikage. And my doubts come from all the morons who thought Storm 2, Ultimate Ninja Impact, and Generations would go up to the manga. It needs to stop!

No need to say it like that, but yes, some people are getting ahead of themselves. 

He didn’t have to be harsh about it, but he’s right. The Jinchuriki will be revealed soon in the anime. This is not confirmation on manga only material. Similar to KCM Naruto, they will be revealed in the anime and so CC2 will take some things from a little further in the manga for their movesets.

If the character is not revealed (meaning just shown, nothing else) in the anime before release, then he/she will likely not be in the game. Is it for sure? No. But that’s how it has been for every past Storm game.

The interview was misinterpreted. The Jinchuriki will make their anime debut soon (right after the filler ends). They don’t fight yet, but neither did KCM Naruto in Generations, so they’ll take certain aspects of their movesets from further in the manga, but they won’t use characters and probably not events from any further passed the anime.

Why do you think they don’t mention them as being in Story Mode in the scan? Just because they are playable (again, like KCM Naruto,) doesn’t mean their arc will be represented.

This is the best scan ever. Tobi Rinnegan (no spoiler), Madara, Naruto FKCM, Sasuke FMS need to a perfect game. But I think they wont put all in the game, because the storm 4 will dont have much new characters.

Typical CC2, distract everyone from how truly broken Storm 3 will be by throwing in characters that look glitzy and glamorous. FEATURES AND NEW GAMEPLAY >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CHARACTERS THAT WILL GET OLD W/OUT THOSE

They’re only broken because you lose with them alot right?

This could very well be the case since they are revealed before they actually fight. Thus no mention of Story Mode for them.

Ring outs are broken, no ifs, ands, or buts.

Death to Supports can be detrimental in a battle. It’s a huge disadvantage if one or both is defeated. However, this could open up more strategic play and less Support spam. But, I’ve played singles seriously and battles could come down to both players being afraid to use Supports. Singles come down to camping and counter-dashing, with grabs and combos being the only viable options for most characters (it’s rather Storm 2-esque actually in that punishing c.dashes is key). So this feature is up in the air.

Some characters are broken. MM has too many instances where he has i.frames (times when he is invincible to certain attacks) including his Jutsu startup, grab, and ultimate startup/ending lag. In addition, his Jutsu leaves very little room for punishment as well as being able to hit multiple times.

Crack Cocaine 2 (CC2) is a helluva drug.

I think Madara might actually be in the game, because I don’t see you unlocking the Jinchuriki without fighting Tobi (name withheld for spoiler reasons) in a massive boss battle. In short, the unlocking of characters won’t be random unless the story is like in Generations. And it’s not like Generations. Or else… BUUBLE BEAM!

It’s funny since Generations was suppose to make it mostly combos. It definitely improved from the mess that was Storm 2 but it’s still mostly jutsu spam. People definitely need to learn how to use combos.

I mean it’s not that hard, just mashing O. And I know, the most popular supports seem to be Pein, PTS Gaara, and Hidan. At least pick creative supports people.

they should make it optional. early gaara can shukaku awaken and late gaara can do like a generic awakening but with new combos (kinda like storm 2). switch between both in 1 slot.
