Naruto Storm 3 Scan – Jinchuriki Action, Kakuzu Boss Battle

A brand new three page scan of Naruto Storm 3 has been released! Collectivley we’ll be calling them scan 19 and they feature screenshots of the 9 Jinchuriki in action along with a Kakuzu, Ginkaku, and Kinkaku boss battles! Click the thumbnails to see them in their full high quality glory!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America and Europe in March of 2013. It will begin with the incident with the Nine Tailed Fox from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering latest episode of Naruto Shippuden before the game’s release.

    look at the top of the kakazu scan were usually the time be. theres a kinkaku and ginkaku sign. your probably have to battle all three of them at different times or do ultimate decision for which brother you want to battle. i cant wait to play this game XD

    I’d like to see them as well as Bee’s cousin the former 8 tails as well as the Third kazekage and the younger versions of the Sannin. There are so many people Id love to see perhapse in a storm 5 if it makes it that far and I’m sure it will its clear we’ll have at least a 4 to finish up the series, and after that they could add side caracters that they normally wouldn’t think to add and be more creative with the characters. Though I doubt they will ever do that.

    The jutsus look decent and not broken but it’s hard to tell from the scans. Bee has Samehada so that might mean new combos for him.

    I think there is. How is the fight between Kisame and Guy going to play out with kisame have Samehada like usual when we have seen killer bee holding it when he was fist bump naruto in his mind. It would look really weird.

    In the mid combo awakening scans it showed naruto against bee without samehada and now this shows him with it so its not a massive stretch to assume there will be 2 versionsions of him

     I think Kakuzu is one of those chars that don’t really need a new moveset. But I do think he needs a new jutsu like Lightning Release False Darkness instead of that stupid fire jutsu. Even better would be if you could choose from a selection of jutsus at the beginning of each match like in storm one so Kakuzu could have 3+ jutsus :)

    Fire Style: Searing Migrane looked much better in the anime and did a hellova lot more than shoot a few half-assed fireballs.  Idk why CC2 dumbed it down for this game. 

    But I agree, We should be able to swap between at least 4 of his jutsu.

    1.  Fire Style:  Searing Migrane

    2.  Lightning Style:  False Darkness

    3.  Wind Style:  Pressure Damage

    4.  Earth Style:  Earth Splitter

    5.  And although we never see him use Water Style ninjutsu, we know he has it.  So i’m sure they could think of something.

    I thought of that as a possibility, I’m kinda hoping after S3 there will only be two more installments. I think they should wait till the story is all wrapped up to make the next one which would be storm 4 and then do an all out type game with pretty much any character (that we actually know) in the game, and that one would sort of be the Generations 2. If they do however make 3 more installments then at that point I would expect something like character creation and a story mode to go along side that, other than that the series really can’t continue since the story would be finished, and they would just be milking it for money hopefully it doesn’t come down to that. But I’d stay with two installments to the storm series and move on to a different style game for naruto, Naruto has great potential to be an amazing game out side the basic fighter style. I’ve had ideas for a long time but I don’t work for the company so that does me no good haha.

    Bee with Samehada finally. At least one character now we know will have some sort of moveset update.

    I’m not entirely sure that’s a new Ultimate for Gaara. Looks weird to me. However, I can’t think of anything else it could be, so I suppose that is the best guess.

    I’ll give anyone who still has hope for moveset updates the slightest, and I mean slightest, bit of leeway (not based on Bee since his was obvious) but on the fact that the demos have not shown an updated KCM. If CC2 ever does ANYTHING, it’s update Naruto and Sasuke. I highly doubt KCM will not at least have a different jutsu based on what he does coming up in the anime, if not an entirely new moveset all together.

    i think you’re right, the fact that they haven’t shown any new naruto or sasuke so far is probably a good sign.  there are a few characters that i think we can still have some hope of seeing new movesets for. (or probably just alterations to their current movesets)

    now we all know that this game follows the anime and the story mode will likely conclude at the point where the anime is upon the game’s release… but looking at these jinchuuriki scans, i think we can assume that for certain characters CC2 is incorporating certain jutsus, etc that can’t possibly be shown in the anime by the time the game is released.

    so maybe CC2 is still going to avoid spoilers when it comes to actually revealing storyline, but they will be including certain things from the manga into movesets.

    either that or theyre going to have all double episodes packed with content through january and february. (but i doubt that)

    Agreed. They’ve done this in the past though (finish the story at where the anime is but use movesets from a little further into the manga), just never to this extent. That’s another reason I can’t see KCM not getting an update. 

    In the very next canon episode, he will show 3 new jutsu for crying out loud.

    For those wondering, the part of the scan with Naruto fighting Tobi is introducing a new gameplay mechanic called “Ougi Finisher.” If you fulfill certain conditions during battle and finish off your opponent with your ougi, you’ll get an extended scene.

    Please Bandai, put Nagato, The Uzumaki Red-haired, sage of six paths in one body version of the game. I dont think i could take another disappointment like the first and second hokages being total shit characters. Stop putting in six Different Naruto’s, and six different sasuke’s. There’s so much more to naruto than what you did in Generations, and storm 2. Ultimate Nagato, Badass previous hokage skillset, and Please honor Neji’s Memory with an all out badass BANG!

    I’m thinking that since he should be appearing in the anime in January, that this is almost certainly a given. What I’m really hoping is that (especially since KCM Naruto was built this way) that all of the Awakening Modes have directionally specific combos in addition to the new L1/R1 Jutsus that they’re getting. That way, they have more sophisticated combat, and it’d also give Nagato a way to show more of his Paths of Pain – one in the new jutsu, and others in the ends of his combo attacks.

    Secret Factors are something entirely different. This scan is introducing Ougi Finishers, this is something completely new.

    Other than what I said before, the only thing the scan mentions is that they added it to make the battles more dramatic and more like the anime.

    He could mean the 2nd or the fourth but not the third, I’m looking fowrad to all of them because my best character if mizukage mei ,konan and pts gaara but if they don’t change anything about konan I won’t play with her much soo and pts characters won’t be iin the game so ill have to find two new characters

    By looking carefully at Bee using Samehada it looks like he is using it for a grab or combo based of the fact Bee has full chakra in the scan.

     yeah the kages are pretty much in the game,you see gaara using a new ultimate which involves a pyramid and that’s what he used against the edo mizukage.and yeah bee only began using the samehada against itachi and nagato so they will most likely be in,after all in the trailer we do see them lined up with the akatsuki and so far deidara,sasori and now kakuzu have been anounced to be in game.wouldn’t make much sense for them to not put itachi and nagato in the game.
