 roshi’s jutsu is probably the coolest projectile jutsu yet in the storm series, in my opinion.  everything from the jinchuurikis looks amazing. at 1:10 yagura does something interesting. that tiny not even one second clip. what is that?
at 2:48 jinin akebino (one of the mist swordsman) is shown doing a combo on lee. do you think they would go as far as creating combos and still not make them playable? also, the gold and silver brothers are shown doing a lot of different attacks. i hope they’re playable!

 For what? They didn’t use the sharingan nore the rinnegan, so if this two doujutsu would be in they won’t be playable but part of Tobi Rinnegan moveset. I prefer the actual solution, they are simply perfect, amazing! O_O

Wow, I literally had goosebumps and was shaking with excitement while I was watching this! Each one of the Jinchurki looks extremely fun to play as! It might be just me, but their play styles seemed much different
than that of any other characters in past Storm games. And Tailed Beast Chakra Mode Naruto vs Raikage at the end was just the cherry on top of this delicious cake!!! YOSHA!!!!!!! Can’t wait to play Storm 3!!!

Is it just me or does it seem like Utakata might be a range character?

I’ll lose my excitement for the game and then stuff like this happens. Fuckin cc2 no wonder I waste my money on your games every year. Great trailer. For once the story mode battles actually seem a bit challenging, Guy and Darui were getting there asses kicked. Biju look to be interesting characters, 2 tails is super fast might be OP we’ll see though. Lastly, glad to see Bee with entirely new moveset using samehada and not just at the end of his combos as i initially thought.

An impressive trailer. The excitement most likely won’t last long though, just like all the previous trailers. There is only a certain amount of times one can watch the same thing before it gets tiring.

Sucks I don’t get goosebumps anymore, probably cause it’s not the final one. but when it is the last one, I know I’m going to be trembling for excitement. anyways from the trailer I’m surprised it didn’t show the edo kage’s. but since it did show gaara’s new ultimate then that basically confirmed few edo kages if not all. kinda shock we didn’t see madara. but once they show the 10 min trailer we will see a new awesome roster. no doubt. either it’s madara or KCM v2. so all in all the trailer revealed nothing new as long as everyone read all the preview scans.

I think they will, and really hope they are, this is the best time to add them to a naruto game. it wouldn’t make sense not to add them since so many people want them and this is really the main focus of the game is the war and they are ( maybe not a huge part) but they still are a big part of the war since they were brought back and have unique and powerful jutsu.

I think that Obito vs Naruto and Madara will not be in the game, I think that this 9 tails jinchuurikis is a “bonus” that they put so people buy the game. I dont see them with edo tensei state. Anyway, I would like to see Gaara awakening to Shukaku and they could do it for Naruto too (kyuubi, not chakra mode) but they will not put that 

Most likely.  Although we don’t sdee him do much in the manga, if you watch the filler between the Sasuke VS Itachi fight and the Invasion of Pain, you see him fight quite a bit.  He never once throws a punch or does any sort of taijutsu or genjutsu.  He just sits and blows his acid bubbles.  And we only see him turn into Saiken (6 tails) for like 3 seconds.  -_-    Makes the most sense for him to be a long distance fighter like Temari and Deidara.

Matsuyama already said in an old interview that there aren’t going to be any filler, movie or guest characters because they want to focus on new gameplay mechanics, make a good story mode and put as many canon and important characters as they can. Although Menma could be one of the secret DLC costumes for Naruto, considering we’ve already got hokage Naruto from Road To Ninja

If it’s in they’re gonna reveal it later and it will probably be their trump card next to Madara. There’s still the possibility that the Bijuu Mode will be revealed in the anime first or a few days after the game is released. CC2 said they’re working with Studio Pierrot and they should have a schedule not shown to public and likely know when they’ll release the episode with Bijuu Naruto, which is close to the release of Storm 3. Either that or CC2 is simply following the manga

The free roam in this game will be better than  Storm 1 and 2 if you take a closer look. I hope you can do more side quest and fun things instead of just doing story mode.

There is no official confirmation that CC2 is following the manga. The only thing they said about it is that they are following the manga’s dark tone in terms of story telling. They may have the game planned ahead of where the anime is right now, considering the Sasuke in the trailer is most likely EMS Sasuke, since he has a fully zipped…. zipper jacket… thing, that he had right after coming to battlefield, but the anime may get to EMS Sasuke before or shortly after the game is released, that’s not impossible. You never know how much they can speed up

Also it’s easier for them to stick with Pierrot since they’ve been doing that for some time now and getting permission from Kishimoto to publicly reveal spoilers from the manga would be a pain in the ass for them, according to what I’ve read in some places.

But if that’s not what you mean by “story development” then sorry.

In an older trailer we see Kabuto reviving the edo Kage so chance are they will be playable not only that but some of the combo’s/jutsu we see the jinjuriki using where in the manga. Because of this I am 100% we are going past the anime and will be seeing Madara Uchiha.

Well we barely know what he fights like but if the anime expands on his fighting style (which CC2 probably knows if that will happen by now) we could have him, because I remember that CC2 said that they don’t like to make up moves, but if the character will, most likely, never show anything new, they’ll consider making a moveset for him based on speculation of what he might have fought like.

So let’s think here

The anime has been expanding a lot on the edo characters’ background, so Dan might have a filler and CC2 could borrow things from there

If Dan doesn’t have a filler, he’ll probably never show up or fight again, so probably CC2 will have to make a moveset for him

Based on these, the only things stopping CC2 from making Dan are a small fanbase/not highly requested

Actually, with the exclusion of the PTS, there are 57: 72 from Generations minus PTS Konoha 11 and Sand Siblings (could be less since we don’t know the fate of Hashirama, Tobirama, Young Kakashi and Obito)

So if all characters shown until now are playable we would have 74, plus, 4 edo kages, Nagato, Edo Itachi (likely having a separate slot), Madara, Rinnegan Tobi, Bijuu Mode or KCM Naruto (either only one of them will be playable or both so I’m just gonna count one) and EMS Sasuke are bound to be playable, making it 84. Now, there was no official word on the number of playable characters, but for it to reach 90, the expected number, we would need 6 more but where are we gonna get them? Easy:

Gari, Pakura, Anko, Shizune, Kurenai, Dan, Chukichi, Toroi, Chojuro, Ao, Cee, Akatsuchi, Kurotsuchi, Kitsuchi,Hiashi,Hizashi Torune, Fuu, White Zetsu and Black Zetsu all have at least a small bit of potential (but I guess you could say Chukichi is almost impossible considering we need Combos, Jutsu, Ougi and Awakening Action) but it’s unlikely all of them will be playable.

However there was a survey some time ago that asked if fans would like things that are now in storm 3 (it was released before Storm 3′s features were announced and it said things like “Choose you character’s destiny in Story Mode”, meaning Ultimate Decision and Destructible environments I think) and it asked if fans would like 107 characters, meaning CC2 has probably thought of a roster with a number close to that

If we have all those characters listed above, we have 104 characters. But for 107 we need 3 more, and probably the only Edo Costumes that will have their own slots are Sasori, Deidara and Chiyo. I think this would make the perfect roster for this specific game (I still want Izumo, Kotetsu, Aoba, Raido, Genma, Hayate, Konohamaru, Baki and Yahiko)

If a character does not get in, CC2 is not entirely to blame. They have to focus on the most wished characters and make good movesets for them so most fans can be satisfied, and there are also characters that have a small fanbase and are not wished very much. And also, form what I know, Namco would not give them time to make every single thing perfect before release (seeing as how we got a black costume for Gaara in the 3rd trailer and a red one in the playable character, some weird hole on Tobi’s mask and Kakuzu’s cloak in the 3rd trailer being black)

They probably had them in the trailer in their original costume just to show them off. I’m pretty sure they will have them in edo tensei. That could just be because we’ve never had them in a game before and they want to show them as they were, not just reanimated.

There is no confirmation, but in Jump Festa it was said that you can plays as bad guys against good guys, meaning you can choose to play as 7SM and fight against Gai, Lee and Sakura.

Well, considering we get to see jinchurikis in actio and Storm series only consider cannon content, I think the game might cover all the way to actual manga chapters (Naruto, Bee, Gai and Kakashi VS Tobi, Gedou and Jinchuurikis)The game release date is march (if I’m not mistaken), considering we got cannon content from january on, it’s safe to assume the game will cover up to Madara VS 5 kages, at the very least, and Naruto VS Tobi topse.

This is too freaking epic. The story mode looks graphic and thats how its suppose to be. It looks way cooler than generations…

KCM Naruto may have a new moveset. In the scan that they revealed instant awakenings, you can see KCM Naruto having two arms coming out of his back. In Naruto Storm G, he can’t do that. If not a whole new moveset, then probably a little change. I hope that they change his jutsu. Anything but what he has now. If, and I really mean IF, he is a playable character, then I will be excited to see his Ultimate Jutsu. However, I don’t see him being a playable character if BM isn’t included, because that would be the only thing that would make sense as his awakening. Also, I agree that Gaara needs a new moveset. His current one is just not interesting after seeing it in two different games. I’m hoping, and I’m probably wrong on this one, that he just kept THAT combo from Storm 2/Storm G. His Ultimate Jutsu looks nice though.

Back when storm 3 was first being announced,I have a question for you, why other then story would there be a storm 4? storm 3 will be having all war arc charecter’s exept for perhaps a perfected Madara + unmasked Obito full power Orochimaru,

Those few extra charcter’s will not be enough to intertain the fanbase,the only other thing that can be done is a finished story mode, thats still not enough IMO.

Storm 3 is only the War, For that fact alone it’d be more than reasonable to expect a game that covers all of naruto from beginning to end. i dont believe naruto will conclude for another year or so.
