Project Versus J Scan 2 (DBZ, One Piece Game)

Dragon Ball Z (DBZ), One Piece, and Toriko! Yesterday it was revealed Namco Bandai Games has a new crossover game, tentatively titled Project Versus J, is in the works. Today, a new scan has surfaced! Information wise there isn’t anything new, but it does features more Goku, Luffy, and Toriko!

Thus far it’s unknown when Project Versus J will be released and for what system, but Saiyan Island hopes to keep you updated on what Shonen Jump is touting as the “ultimate Jump game!”

    no yu yu hakusho? luffy and goku, ok, i like db a lot and if i had this game i would choose gohan.
    i dont like one piece but it does fit.
    toriko omg, i cant believe that shit is in the game, no one is gonna buy that crappy game if they’re not adding any other animes

    I don’t really like the Engine that powers the Console OP & DBZ games they seem to forget that they are an anime, that what i prefer about the Storm Engine it Maxes out the Graphics  but keeps it toned down to Anime level, either way this game might be good ^-^

    Pretty doubtful that it will be localized. Who knows? I don’t care for it, though. Anime games aren’t my thing only because they never do justice.

    Ugh, I don’t know what’s worse… the Wii U, 3DS, or Arcade (YES THE WII U IS THAT STUPID TO ME. But, to each his own).

    But in all seriousness, that would be the worst case scenario. I’m pretty sure there will be no localization (licensing issues between the different Dub studios easily settle this question) so our only hope is 1) a console or handheld, 2) a console or handheld that is region free.

    If we go by the graphics shown, then it will be PS-Vita minimum. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were Wii U however, which this game would have to use phenomenal gameplay videos, include every franchise under the sun, be so amazingly bada$$ in order for me to every CONSIDER buying a Wii U. A new Zelda game couldn’t convinve me, a new Smash Bros. couldn’t convince me, A new Kingdom Hearts save KH3 couldn’t convince me (and KH can convince me of almost anything). 

    So this has to BLOW MY MIND OUT OF IT”S SKULL DIRECTLY THROUGH THE ROOF AND INTO OUTER SPACE WHERE MY NOW FULLY MANIFESTED BRAIN IS CONCSCIOUS AND MEETS ALIENS WHO PROVIDE ME WITH THE SECRETS OF THE UNVIVERSE, AND THOSE SECRETS HAPPEN TO INVOLVE THIS GAME… in order for me to get a Wii U. ^_^

    Actually, they remind me of Pirate Warriors somewhat which was a PS3 game. But no, it really looks like arcade style graphics if you’ve seen some of Japan’s arcade exclusives.

    It actually doesn’t max them out, evidenced by the fact that you can play the Storm games on a hacked PS-Vita/PS3 using the Cross-Play function.

    With those three localization wouldn’t be impossible Funi holds the licensing to both Dragonball and One Piece. Toriko I dont think anyone in America has the rights to it yet so its not a problem. Really licensing wouldn’t even be that big of a problem if it was Tatsunoko vs Capcom never would have gotten out of Japan

    Does that mean the west will get it probably not lets face it Namco Bandai doesn’t give a shit about any anime property outside of Naruto.But if they give the licensing issue as a reasone thats just BS.

    Actually funimation does hold the rights to Toriko.  I still doubt we get to see it, but importation is always a possibility if it comes out on the right console.

    Because,I’m sure they arent 3ds graphics,In all the crossover games they’ve done before this they’ve never showed something like this even in scans,The wii U can possibly pull this off,but the wii U seems very unpopular.The Ps3 is very popular and probably the most wanted so I can see that happening

    I didn’t actually realize Jump had the license for Saint Seiya. Would love any of them to be in it. Also I do not get the Toriko hate, I’ve only read 4 of the volumes so far but I adore it.

    I notice Dragon Ball, Ultimate Muscle, Dr. Slump, Toriko, Naruto Shippuden, Saint Seiya, and Hunter x Hunter(which I predicted)….okay now show the release date and what console this is for so I can just give whoever is releasing this game my money.

     Yeah Saint Seiya’s been a Jump series since the mid 80′s. But as far as Toriko goes, to me it’s not very interesting. It’s so-so at best.

     All indications to me point to another Jump crossover fighting game like Super and Ultimate Stars which mind you are pretty good. The latter is probably the best 2D fighting game I’ve ever played. The little figures suggest that there’s a toyline coming to promote the said game.

    dont judge it by the first scan i bet naruto and ichigo are going to be confirm in a couple of weeks besides thats the only way it can be the ultimate shonen jump game and it better not be a 2d game like  street fighter  i wan a 3d game with epic graphics and a great story mode with a epic story

    I heard Namco Bandai is taking requests to add in more shonen jump anime in the mix. I swear, this game should come to the US and Europe if this is going to be the ultimate shonen jump game, because if they do, not only will this game be a huge freaking hit but they’ll make a heck of a lot of money.

     These graphics are similar to the graphics of ultimate tenkaichi which was also for the 360, and I should know, I am an xbox user. Plus making this so called “ultimate jump game” ONLY for ps3 would be totally unreasonable. Think about it, if they’re going to make a bold claim like that then why only make it for one console?  If they made it for both then this game would sell in a heartbeat and people would be fighting to the death trying to get it, which means more money for them. I just hope this game comes to the US and Europe.

    OH SHIT not only is this a JUMP game it’s a new one and their going all out…….. project verus j……. you just blewn my fucking mine, i loved jump ultimate stars the only problem is well it didnt come over seas so US but (screw US mail that shit and american ds’s play japan games win nintendo) i cant wait to see a all out all jump cast (like a jump ultimate stars but with everyone in it to where they are now in the mangas)
