Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie DVD/Blu-Ray Release Date Set

The release date has been set! Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie is making it’s way to DVD and Blu-Ray in Japan on April 24, 2013! TOHO, the distributor for the movie, has mentioned there will be a limited edition and that more information will be available in the future.

Viz Media has not announced any plans to release Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie (the sixth movie in the series) in North America. They released Naruto Shippuden Movie 3 – The Will of Fire back in October of this year.

Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie is the latest and highest grossing film in the Naruto franchise, raking in 1.46 billion yen (around $18 USD million) between its July 28 opening day and final theatrical play on September 23, 2012. The previous record holder, Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow from the summer of 2004 took in 1.37 billion yen (around $16 million USD). w Naruto’s creator, Masashi Kishimoto was personally involved with the movie, creating the story and providing character designs.     The best naruto movie for me was definitely ”the stone of gelel”….All the shipuden movie kinda suck to me,anyway ,the recent naruto fillers,”chikara” has that movie quality to it…if that had been a movie,it would definite be my best shippuden movie.

    I dont like naruto movies at all and this one is real bad… They ruined sasuke and hinata and it makes no sense.. I rather watch regular naruto episodes…

    Hey you never know. I remember watching Blood Prison last year right on the day it was supposed to be released. The all Japanese version was put on first, and a few days later, the English subs came. :)

    Its an alternate universe. It makes perfect sense. Everybody is acting the opposite of how they really are. Plus, you havent even seen the movie. This film looks interesting and is most likely the best out of all the movies since the creator himself made it.

    Im still wondering, why does it take so long I mean it came out in July if im not mistaken why does it take so long to put a cd in an anvelope and send it to cinemas all over the world, and why cant you watch the movie on websites in bad quality , its like the movie got released in japana and is not leaving it till april WHY

    yes it was great just wait like a month and a half more and it’ll be out before you know just remember Fairy tail will be in sub within the next month that will tide you over and i remember when blood prison came out right around my birthday its was like the 24th n my b day was the 27 so hopefully i get another naruto movie b day present again !
