Top 5 Alternate Costume Wishlist for Naruto Storm 3

In Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, there were a handful of characters with alternate costumes. Generally, these alternate costumes took an additional roster slot. In Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, Saiyan Island would like to see only one slot for each character, similar to the way Minato’s Hokage Costume and Jonin Costume could be selected. That way, there aren’t 6 roster slots dedicated to Naruto and Sasuke.

The one additional difference we’d like to see in Storm 3 is for costumes and jutsus to mix and match. In other words, players should have the choice to select either Flying Thunder God: Sequence Stage or The Yellow Flash as the ultimate jutsu for Hokage Minato. The jutsu should not be tied to the costume!

On this page and the pages that follow are Saiyan Island’s top 5 alternate costumes wishlist for Naruto Storm 3. For the top 4, we’ve included a list of jutsus and ultimate jutsus that players should be able to select from for a character. For number 5, we’re okay with the jutsus from Storm Generations, all we need is the alternate costume. Characters should have different combos for each costume, however, to keep things fresh! Of course you may agree or disagree, so feel free to provide your opinion in the comments section!

Even though some of these costumes have been confirmed, this opinion article is just a wishlist! Please do not take it as confirmation.

5. War, Road to Ninja Outfits for Leaf Ninja Teens

At number 5 on our list are the group of Leaf Ninja Teens – Sai, Choji, Shino, Hinata, Sakura, Shikamaru, Neji, Rock Lee, Ino, Tenten, and Kiba.
Since Naruto Storm 3 focuses on the 4th Shinobi World War, we would love to see each character equipped with the their respective War outfits as an alternate costume to their normal look.

Rock Lee and Shikamaru’s, however, look the same so for Lee we propose the white cloak from when the Eight Man Squad was deployed to hunt Sasuke/Itachi and for Shikamaru we propose a him without his normal flak jacket.

In addition, for the Leaf Ninja teens, we would love to see the Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie versions. Hokage Naruto is in, so we think this request, this desire is very justifiable. In particular, we would love to see Road to Ninja’s Hinata and Ino because we know Saiyan Island fans would absoutley love to see those as alternate costumes in Naruto Storm 3!

Thank goodness! Finally lol, because it was real stupid to have different slots for the same character. Also, there definitely needs to be mix-match jutsu. Konoha 11 look awesome.

Hmmm.. but Menma is Road to Ninja’s version of Naruto so they are pretty much the same. It’s like an alternate costume to me.

The idea is kind of ridiculous. All the Naruto’s and Sasuke’s have different movesets unless they’re gonna make them have just their newest version’s movesets which would be stupid. And I don’t see how Pein’s ultimate jutsu would work with Nagato.

All the Tobi’s have different combos too so I can’t imagine the orange masked Tobi fighting like Rinnegan Tobi. But I like the idea of all the alternate costumes, just not the one-slot-per-character thing.

well technocly Itachi used Izanagi to free himself from edo tensei(on accident might I add) and izanami is far to complicated of a jutsu to be used in a storm game also it only works on surtin people.

I’d have to disagree with you. Unless they’re a totally new version, like young Obito and Tobi, there is no reason why a character should have a whole slot just because they have a new moveset or jutsu from the the main one.

That’s like saying the Konoha 11 should have 1 extra slot for each member because they might have new movesets.

Top 5 reasons why this Top 5 is ridiculous :

1) A wishlist is supposed to mention things that we WISH to see in the game, not things which have already been revealed.
2) I’m tired of seeing the same characters having alternative costumes : Naruto (duuuh -_-), Sasuke (DUUUUH =_=), and the big villain, and by the way…
3) Thank you for spoilers
4) Where the hell are Jugo, Suigetsu and Jugo in TAKA outfits ? Seriously, I’m tired of seeing Jugo in his PJ’s, he really needs a relooking.
5) Aren’t alternate jutsus more important ? Or a top 5 about wished awakening actions ? I mean… Konan really needs paper roller blades, a new ultimate jutsu, and she’s not the only one.

Nevertheless, I agree on the fact that “Road to ninja” costumes should be made, at least in a (free) DLC, because I love Hinata’s, Ino’s and Sasuke’s outfits in that movie.

I don’t think Saiyan Island get the fact that there has to be seperate character slots especially for characters like Naruto, Sage Naruto and Sasuke, Susano’o Sasuke, reason being that they have different combo sets and awakenings, and I don’t see how it’s possible to make it so you change their combo sets as well in the same character slot.

they choose not to put in ems sasuke yet they actually believe that the game will go up to wen obito reveals himself. ems sasuke was like 50 chapters behind that moment and his first battle was like 20. tbh sauke is what most people care about, that and madara uchiha ofcourse. madara uchiha has to be included no matter wut even if he doesnt fight naruto and bee. all i ask is that madara fights the kages and sasuke fights kabuto. oh and stop making the awakening sizes so small, the eight tails is not that small and neither is susanoo.

I only think they should get new slots if they have different movesets altogether. If it’s just an awakening/jutsu/ultimate swap, then don’t waste the extra slots. Don’t separate Kakashi with kamui ultimate from Kakashi with twin lightning shiver ultimate (I’m fully aware twin lightning Kakashi isn’t in storm 3, but I needed an example) and don’t put Sasuke with Chidori True Spear with Sasuke Susano’o. That simple.

What I’d like to see most is Sasuke’s Road to Ninja costume as shown in the list in addition to his samurai outfit from Dragon Blade Chronicles/Ryujinki, his Kirin clothes with bandages and cloak, his early Shippuden clothes with a cloak (when Hebi was tracking down Itachi), shirtless (early Shippuden from the start), his Naruto Shippu: Konoha Gakuen Den/Naruto Hurricane High School Chronicles outfit (as seen in Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 3/Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 for PSP), the clothes he wore when unveiling his EMS and his Gokage Summit clothes he wore after getting EMS (zipped all the way). For Naruto, I’d love to see him with a white cloak from when he was on that squad in search of Sasuke near the Uchiha Hideout, his Might Guy outfit, Menma, Dark Naruto, his usual clothes without the upper jacket (as seen in Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel/Ultimate Ninja 4) and his Konoha Gakuen Den clothes (see Sasuke). That would make for the ultimate selection IMO. Please make this happen CC2 and Namco Bandai!

theyre small because if they were actual size it would be hard for them to fight and easier for the smaller player to win. and if they were to make them actual size they wouldnt be able to move and would only be able to do one attack which is light hack and amaterasu. for example in storm 2 when they were actual ssize itachi didnt move you just came closer and he slammed his shield down or when you were far away he slung rubble at you. thats what im talking about and you cant get the full enjoyment out of them when you cant move.

you know what would be awesome if they had like finishers sort of like mortal combat but cooler you can choose to either finish them or walk away and let them die it should be optional for this game here one idea in the fight with sasuke and itachi. itachi used a genjustu and pulled out sasukes eyes he should be able to do this with every character or naruto he finishes them with a good punch to the face or whatever you guys would prefer.

I think Nagato and pein should be seperate characters not just outfits, because 1 they are different people, 2 nagato has different jutsu’s than pein. it would be lots better that way. that and because you can get the team of pein, konan and nagoto togethor as one. how nice would that be.

I agree with most of these except for Sasuke, I don’t think most of the people want to see him shirtless except for the girls if there are anymore. Probably a handful left. And for Naruto, I don’t think Menma and Dark Naruto should be costumes since Menma wouldn’t be in the game.

You know with the no filler characters and all. Dark Naruto would just be a color change with the eye and that would be a complete waste of a costume. His moves are the same as Naruto’s anyways. I like the other ones though.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Pein most likely won’t be in Storm 3. They’re gonna replace him with Nagato just like with the rest of the Akatsuki.

I hope they don’t give EMS Sasuke Susano’o as his awakening. That would suck a lot. Maybe CC2 can do something similar to Taka Sasuke’s awakening but with EMS instead.

Though i would agree that they should cut the timer the stronger the awakening is. Because i can image this coming with madaras and everyone is one hit KO ING everyone with the first hokage wood dragon disableing your jinjuriki Urgh forgot how to spell that :C So i would argee with some characters but not all. It sure seems like this game isn’t getting the scans and updates like Generations, and storm 2 did. maybe its just me but It seemed like by mid december for the other two games most the data about the games was released. Hopefully they are just keeping things on the down low this time around I’d like to think that they haven’t told us a forth of the game yet since it seems like not much is new with this game. But I’ve always thought that its better for them to not release so much info on the game it kinda ruins it, but at the same time its good that they do so you can see how different the game is and whether you’d actually want to purchase the game.

If you guys think about it, didn’t CC2 say that it was one-costume-per-character? If you take out all the Naruto’s and Sasuke’s, then there wouldn’t be all these epic costumes for them. Though maybe they could make it instead of just making one character with the multiple costumes thing, categorize them.

Like all the Naruto’s in one slot and we press a button and we can scroll through all the other forms. So it’d be like they’re all in one slot, but they have their individual movesets and jutsus. Customizing jutsus should be allowed for characters with multiple forms though.

If they add Menma, he needs to be a seperate character. He doesn’t use the same fighting style or attacks as Naruto. Instead of Kage Bunshin he should use the Kyumenju in his attacks.

I highly suggest each character get to us three techniques like Sasuke(kage summit) triangle + circle = fire ball justu, triangle + circle(hold) changes to chidori and triangle + tap circle twice for inferno style: flame control for characters who have many moves
