Bils (DBZ: Battle of Gods) Shows Power in Dragon Ball Heroes

The first Dragon Ball Heroes gameplay video featuring Bils has been revealed! At the 5:35 mark, he appears from the sky and shows his power by causing a huge explosion!

Bils, the God of Destruction, is the main enemy in the up-coming DBZ: Battle of Gods movie. Dragon Ball Heroes is a Japanese arcade game developed by Dimps and utilizes physical cards that allow players to unleash fierce attacks in the game. Heroes has a portable version, Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission, due out in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS on February 28, 2013.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. It will take place between Dragon Ball manga chapters 517 and 518, in the 10 year timeskip after Goku defeats Buu, but before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Akira Toriyama along with Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games are all involved. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is set to release in Japanese theaters March 30, 2013. There is no word on a North American or European release date at this time for either movie.

I’m talking about these hoardes of video games with the EXACT same battle system, style, etc.

I realize this is different, though.

I’m not talking about his work on it as an anime, I personally hate DBZ, but if he wants to continue his anime, then he has the right to do so. But there’s a difference between creating something new, and re-milking.

its like this most of them are good but not great and ultimate tenkaichi and kinect well were not going to talk about those but the raging blast games were good but they werent perfected because they dropped the ball when they started UT and then fans are always ficle on what they want out of a dbz game.
and if you hate it why take the time to look it up it seems like a waste of time and then if you hate the z games why do you look them up thats an even bigger waste of time. for instance if i hate something(shippuden not the original) im not looking it up because its a waste of time.

Evangelion hasn’t nearly impacted or influenced the anime genre as DBZ has. It’s a Great original series but it isn’t nearly as impactful or influential and I’m not calling DBZ “god’s gift,” but most of the series u like or watched probably has taken something from it.

Since many of you are not truly understanding what I’m saying…..

Anything legendary is something highly reputable, huge fanbase, it’s been around, has caught lots of attention, and is good with it’s particular group.

Now, what I’m saying about DBZ, is that for the shonen group, and anime in general, it obviously qualifies as being reputable enough to be Legendary, but I AM saying, is that you should not abuse that title, you should savor it, and use it as best as you can, not abuse it.

For instance, let me put out 2 legendary animes in 2 different viewer groups:

Evangelion:

- Has been around very long, but does not mass release, and when it does, it is definitely worked on.

- Did not have 09385029850 episodes and 0894098 side series.

- Extremely influential to other anime.

- When it IS brought back into present anime, it is brought back with movies, which take huge amounts of money to make, animate, and are extremely well done in animation. These movies take multiple years, and go over budget.

DBZ:

- Has been around very long, mass released, hoards of products, video games, some okay, and some horrendously bad.

- Shonen, so huge amount of episodes and side series.

- Definitely influential to it’s group.

- When brought into present, it is -in my opinion- not hard worked on, and just random, more of fanservice, which I don’t agree with.

Now, if you DO reply to this, trying to say “HUR DUR UR OPINYUN SUX UR ON A SH0NEN SITE BAK OFF!” I will truly not care.
