Naruto Storm 3 – Trailer 5 was the most electrifying in the Storm series of videos. Namco Bandai Games America has released a slightly extended version of Kurama Mode, showing Naruto hit Sasuke in the air before launching the Tailed Beast Bomb. We’ve created a few screenshots from the video. Also included is a screenshot of the Six Tails vs Two Tails which we may have missed before. Special thanks to Minato Leroy for bringing this to our attention.

Latest Storm 3 Scan: Naruto Storm 3 Scan 22 – New Susanoo, Planetary Rasengan

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America and South America on March 5, Europe and Australia on March 8, and Japan on April 18, 2013. The story for the game will begin with the Nine Tailed Fox incident from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering the latest episodes of Naruto Shippuden as they air in Japan.

In the video, yep I don’t know about the character and I’m not interested in it for now, I’d like to see other characters that will be included in the game, even if we just see a few screens about them (improved Konan, new Jugo, Edo Kages, Chiyo, Kimimaro, and maybe other surprising ones like Anko, Kushina, Omoi, Sai’s brother,…)

Everyone,m open your fricking eyes already. 1st TBM Naruto we saw was an ultimate. These new pictures are not an ultimate, but rather TBM gameplay. So the character will be this:
Naruto
-regular outfit, moveset, etc.
-Ultimate Jutsu: Bijuu Dama, Naruto goes TBM, changes into Kurama, uses bijuu dama
-Awakening: Tailed Beast Mode in all epicness

(Ultimate jutsu and awakening can be the same, look at Itachi and Susano’o

Indeed they didn’t improve much. But there is a decent amount of new content even if a lot is rehashed. I don’t blame anyone for not buying it, trust me, but I plan on it at least for now.

I gotta say, image 3 and 6 look like in game animations. It’s still possible they are part of the Ultimate from the trailer, but it seems highly unlikely.

Playable or not (awakening or separate as well), that’s all I want to know. Ugh, this is getting ridiculous. The article says the screenshots are taken directly from that video of his Ultimate Jutsu (which they are just by watching it). We know it’s an Ultimate, so CC2 just shows us more of the Ultimate? When you release news CC2 release NEWS not a little extra of the same.

Watch the video and pause a lot. THE SCREENSHOTS ARE FROM HIS ULTIMATE, you can clearly see that. SI even said so in the article itself. Why are you arguing against the obvious?

all screenshots of BM Naruto that you see before you are screenshots that were took from his ultimate Jutsu from the US Trailer. We have ONLY seen him as a UJ for now.

How do people keep thinking these screen shots confirm biju mode as playable. These screen shots are just shots of the little part of the uj from the extended trailer. Just read the description. I want him to be in as a playable character too but that doesn’t mean we should throw logic out of the window. These are just screen shots of the new Uj.

If you watch the video closely at the very beginning you can see where the UJ starts, but if you pay attention to that you can also tell that the color scheme of of the original hit was the same as TBM naruto. Plus, as far as I can remember, if a transformation occurs during an UJ its normally at the very beginning of it, that transformation wasn’t shown here so again it seems like TBM was already active before the UJ was started. Also, that icon of TBM that popped up a few weeks ago looked quite similar to a character icon that would go in-game. It still could go either way, but the odds of it being an awakening or even a seperate character are still higher than it just being an UJ.

They said they were going to implement antialiasing (which gives off the illusion of smooth edges) in this one, but so far I don’t see it.

That’s the miracle of editing my friend. He could have easily transformed for the rush part before the cinematic (like Bee for his V2), which was not shown.

Other then that, the original scan showed a normal Naruto for his character icon, so separate character seems unlikely. Awakening is more palpable.

The transformation could occur before the cinematic, the in game portion where you need to hit the opponent (just like Bee, Suigetsu, and other characters that transform before the cinematic). The character icon was a normal Naruto in the original scan, so all evidence points to an Awakening if he is playable.

after reading the other comments, the screenshots are the ones from the video. I really hope it is still an awakening tho. Its not like we havent seen much of bijuu. He has been fighting for quite a while now in that form so they should be able to give him a moveset.

It would be the most cruel kick in the nuts if they´re not including him as an akwakening. I think both Naruto and Sasuke will be getting Kurama Mode and Susano´o also as awakening. Also i just watched the post about the February schedule of the Anime. Looks like it´s gonna be one episode aways from showing Madara when the game hits North America and it´ll be airing when the game arrives at Europe. Now my guess is he won´t be included into the story mode, but he´ll proabably appear as a playable character for Free Battle. Just look at this roster when you want to know what my expextations are.

No. They have all Jinchuuriki and Bijuus because they appeared in the Manga now summoned by Obito. Shukaku has not appeared here and they don’t have pre-Shippuuden Chars. At the time the game is playing Gaara doesn’t have the SHukaku anymore. So i doubt it very much

Well, this confirms he’s more than an ultimate. Most likely he’ll be an awakening but it’ll be cool to have him as an actual full character and character slot.
