Naruto Storm 3 Demo Officially Announced (Japan)

You may have seen this in past scans, but today Namco Bandai Games Japan has officially announced the Naruto Storm 3 demo will be released in less than a month from today – February 19, 2013! The demo will consist of the Third Hokage vs Nine Tailed Fox giant boss battle and Minato vs Masked Man story mode battle. This demo was showcased at various events already, including the 2012 Comic Con and Japan Expo. We have the video for you to enjoy below.

Just to be clear, this is for JAPAN! No information on a demo for North America or Europe has been announced at this time.

Although the game will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360, the demo will likely only be for PS3 due to the popularity gap of the systems in Japan.

Good news is if you have a Japanese PlayStation Network (PSN) account, you can download the demo for free no matter where you live! At least this has been our experience here at Saiyan Island in the past for Storm 2 and Generations. Anyways, if you don’t have a Japanese PSN (also known as SEN, Sony Entertainment Network) account, you can get one for free at account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com. It is worth noting you must select Japan as your country to get a Japanese PSN account. We’ve taken a screenshot of the English version below so you can fill in the form correctly since the text will change to Japanese once you pick Japan. Once you’ve signed up, and clicked the confirmation link in your e-mail, you can go to your PS3 and sign in with your new account. On February 19th, logged in with your Japanese PSN account, you should see and be able to download the Naruto Storm 3 demo in the the Japanese PlayStation Store.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America and South America on March 5, Europe and Australia on March 8, and Japan on April 18, 2013. The story for the game will begin with the Nine Tailed Fox incident from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering the latest episodes of Naruto Shippuden as they air in Japan.

I think only the Goku DLC is for North America. The rest are for Japan/Europe. Yea its for pre-order only unless you get lucky and your store has more.

I played the demo on a Dutch Game event called Firstlook. They had a couple of pods with the demo running. It had the battle against 9-tails and Minato vs obito. I can tell you one thing: It was freaking awesome!

I already create my japanese account, but for some reasons I cannot access the playstation store. It told me to download the software, and when i try downloading, some stupid error code 800233EC occur. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

i didnt realise the 360 was less popular, the ds is the most popular in japan and in the top 30 selling games in japan for 2012, 27 were ds games (one piece and 2 resident evil games were the only non ds games)

They should have just made the Vs. Mode a demo. They also could have made a online mode for the demo. That would make people like CC2 more if they thought a bit outside the box. I could live without having to play a boss battle to know what it’s like.

Lol the reason why different countries are all not receiving the same DLC is because, North America has yet to watch or even seen a dubbed version of “Road to Ninja”. I think we will all receive the same DLC, but right now we will have to settle for what America will get Check out my Youtube.

A dubbed version of that movie will come out in years dude….. they just finished dubbing the 3rd movie…… It just hasn’t come ONLINE for english sub yet to watch. Thats not an exuse for leaving north america without DLC costumes, just the goku costume….
