Naruto Storm 3 – Demo Release Date, Road to Ninja Hinata (Rumor)

Rumor has it the next issue of Jump will reveal Japan’s release date for Naruto Storm 3 as April 18th! That’s over a month after North America / South America’s March 5th and Europe / Australia’s March 8th release date.

However, Japan will be getting a demo of the game in February. In Saiyan Island’s experience, those with a Japanese PlayStation Network account will likely be able to enjoy the demo even if they live somewhere else in the world. No exact date was revealed, but at the latest, we should be getting a demo in late February. That assumes North America, South America, Europe, and Australia doesn’t get their own version of the demo, but we think that’s unlikely.

In addition, the rumor states as a pre-order bonus, Japanese fans will be able to get a downloadable costume for Hinata. Which costume? The one from Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie! She’s pictured on the right. It’s unclear if this will be available for fans of other territories.

As always Saiyan Island considers information like this a rumor so please wait until the scan has been released to call it official! If history is any indication though, it’s likely we will get our confirmation this weekend, if not today!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America and Europe in March of 2013. It will begin with the incident with the Nine Tailed Fox from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering latest episode of Naruto Shippuden before the game’s release.

no, the U.S game will have the same content as the Japanese game, they’re just releasing it early for us. The U.S would have to get permission from the franchise (CC2, Bandai, etc) distributing the game on order to modify it (take stuff out), and i see no reason as to why they would want to do that so we will have the same story mode as they do. Good new is the story mode will stretch to the anime episode of April, YOSH.

If we consider each episode starting tomorrow will contain at least 2 chapters in it and we will start at chapter 545 tomorrow then by Thurs, April 18 we will be at 573, which is a very interesting chapter to land on.

As others have said it’ll be the same game. Storm 2 and Generations both were released before the dub reached the point they led up to. In fact I believe the dub only recently got to Hinata’s confession. Most fans of the Storm games in the west watch the Japanese version or read the manga.

If they follow the same principles with DLCs they followed in storm 1, then later they will release every costume and DLC bonus (you could not get for some reason, like you did not pre order) for free.

Ok yea I like hinata and all, she’s one of the people I play the most. But they show also have the costumes for the characters who are significantly different. I mean for hinata the onlything different is that her jacket is open and she wears booty shorts. They should have the costumes for sasuke and ino as well. But more importantly I want to be MENMA!

I think Storm 1 and 2 came out in U.S. before Japan. Generations is the oddball. I think what it is is they don’t want to spoil things for the anime only population in japan. Said population is of no importance anywhere else. At NY Comic Con Matsuyama said he had no idea Naruto was so popular in the U.S.

That doesn’t really matter, it like storm 2 going up to Pein, or Storm 3 taking place during the war. Technically the US didn’t even get to any of those, but we still got the same characters as Japan and everything else. Unless we are talking about the manga, but that is a whole diff story.

Well The Bleach game for the PS3 was released in America and the 4th movie wasn’t even out at that time so its possible and these games are way ahead of the american anime and slightly ahead of the american manga and yet we got the past two games.

Well I believe that a lot of Japanese fans like the English cast as much if not more than the Japanese cast. So in order to make everyone happy they might’ve decided to J-dub the game but not release it yet send the Japan-dub version and its content over to America to have it Eng- dub encoded. since it’s already in America have it released in America first then have them re-sent it to Japan to be released there. Some places might want or might promise extra content on products before locally releasing it. I know I would do that to my anime if I wanted to locally release it with both Japanese and English audio. And Naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm generations was different from the main sequels. The head director highly stated that “Generations was planed to be a fighting game and was not however to be the official installment of the Storm series. But their will be a Storm 3 and we will more likely be focusing more on shippuden which means we will more likely be bringing back epic battles” which was stated 6 months after release. So with generations it wasn’t as much worth it as with the other installments… and DEMO are not really worth dubbing either since it’s just less than 5 to 10 minutes of a sample of the full game. By chance if the series popular enough they may consider making a dub version for other countries( eg. Australia, North America,…) and in other cases they wont even make a DEMO at all.
