10. Naruto: Powerful Shippuden
Platform: Nintendo 3DS || Publisher: Namco Bandai Games || Developer: Inti Creates
Release Dates: November 29, 2012 (Japan) || March 2013 (North America) || March 8, 2013 (Europe)
In Naruto: Powerful Shippuden, the ninja battles are from a new perspective – mini form! Players can take control of one of two playable characters – Naruto and Rock Lee – to play in a 2D side scrolling adventure. The game is very simplistic and at times repetitive with numerous generic ninja and random animals, but at the same time it’s quite fun! The story is told through static images and text, but overall it’s a nice throw back to 90′s video games with a fresh layer of Nintendo 3DS coloring! Tailed Beast Chakra Mode Naruto included!
